If I could have put zero stars I would have. Not recommending this place. it's just like all the others. Understaffed for the amount of work there is. Some workers are considerate and helpful. Some need to view the patient with more respect. Beds are terrible and sheets hardly ever fit right. Meals are okay but they sure like to shortcut a lot with sandwiches and things like that.
A place that charges $200 plus a day should do better. Seems they are more concerned with making money than making sure their guests are happy and comfortable. Sad and pathetic. I challenge any one of the management of staff to stay one week with no preferential treatment. Just live like the patient has too.

DO NOT bring your loved ones here. Bring your enemies. The residents' packages are stolen. Their clothes are stolen. The billing office is dishonest and it's like doing business with the mafia. Run far from this place. It's now called Park Place Assisted Living. Hopefully that will help others seeking google search reviews. Zero stars. On a side note, I went to visit mom. Drove over an hour to get there and they would not let me use the restroom. Said I could go over to Ochsner which meant driving down the street. I was tempted to be very rude but managed to hold it together and be the bigger person. That place is nothing but trash.

Prayer is a must before placing family members in a nursing home. It gives God the thumbs up to choose the best place for your loved one. The wool can be pulled over your eyes easily, but God sees everything. I am so grateful God revealed the heart of the admissions team in Park Place retirement home(formally known as Bel Vie).
Ever heard of Dr. Jekyll Mr. Hyde? BEWARE!!!! That’s what was revealed in this team handling my loved ones admission. A kind lady with very appropriate etiquette gave me a very warm greeting on the phone. Before the admission process completed, an IMPATIENT, CRUEL HEARTED woman was revealed. I was utterly amazed!!!! The transformation happened in a very timely fashion, as GOD LEAD her to shut a door that I should have never tried to open. I’m eternally grateful to this team for showing their TRUE COLORS from day one. Some unsuspecting family members do not find out the truth until much later. Again BEWARE!!!! There’s a wolf in sheep’s clothing here with niceties that have no genuineness. After the leader’s fast talking, cruel tone, aggressive body language, and cold impatient encounter with me- she bid me farewell with words of grace spewed out from the lips of a person with a cruel, cruel heart. “Have a blessed day!!!”
Pray that the Lord goes before you in any facility. Ask Him to reveal to you all the hidden things: character of staff, demeanor of those you see, staff turn over, google reviews, quality control problems, health & safety issues, is the administration licensed, certification, etc... Anyone who shows a kind, polite and warm greeting and morphs into someone that is the complete opposite(that’s a RED FLAG👀). BEWARE!!!! Don’t be sorry. Your loved one will thank you.

I placed my mother at this facility a few years ago and after 3 days, she was taken away via ambulance after I arrived and dialed 911. I am a registered nurse and knew immediately that she was in trouble. She was slumped over in her wheelchair and delirious. She had a UTI, C-DIFF, bed sores, severely dehydrated and damn near dead!!! I went on a weekend trip and was unable to see her after we placed her that first day. After my Mom recovered in the hospital for the next MONTH....her memory began to come back. She was neglected and had her phone placed on the other side if the room so that she could not call me! She was denied water and was never given her meds. Of course....no one assumed responsibility and knew nothing that had occurred. WARNING....DO NOT LEAVE YOUR LOVED ONE HERE!!!

They are very unprofessional at time I love the facility but some nurses have attitude said to say when there are more white people in charge things run better and I'm black

All they worry about is taking advantage of people not in their right mind and taking their disability when the place is fully government funded
