Broad Street Market

The only complaint is we smelled like food the rest of the day...lol. We got the hot dogs in pretzels. They were delish!!!! Great whoopie pie and rice crispy treat. I also bought a beautiful plant from the amazing lady there with gorgeous plants!!!

A must visit during a trip to Harrisburg. It's my absolute favorite spot. Filled with a variety of food options you'll definitely find something to grab. Ougi's Cocina is a must try. I get it every time make the trip up. Also get an Amish pretzel.

It's always a good place to meet locals and try different foods.
It would be great if the community and government would get together so they can raise funds and finish the rebuilding of the east side.

When the Market was opened, a fabulous place to go for food and some groceries. Its been well over a year and still not even close to being opened. An example of incompetent Local government. Remember...its the City of Harrisburg that owns it. No questions for the Mayor? Come on Penn Live!

Visited Broad Street Market in Harrisburg on a Friday morning and it wasn’t crowded. We love public markets and this one does a great job at uniting everything that a market offers: variety of food and crafts in many display. If you’re hungry and want great food, make sure to stop by. It’s a place where you won’t spend tons of money and will be served a huge portion.

Cannot recommend enough!! We are staying a couple blocks away and have eaten there as much as we can, and bought food for other meals. The atmosphere is super cool, and the delicious smells are beyond words. Lil’s Pretzels were the best I’ve ever had and very reasonably priced. The Many Blessings Bakery also had some great stuff! We were able to get fresh bread, veggies, and meat for our other meals. Amazing food, fair prices, and friendly people.

Our whole family loves the market. Super good international food choices and the whole place soon becomes family. Great local produce, beautiful flowers, coffee, bakery, meats, donuts and more. Bring your own bags if you can.

****2nd half of the market burnt down a few months ago. Tent is up but not open yet as of 11/28/23 the restaurants are still there and the market needs our support. Veg out! Has a small space in the first building facing 3rd street, (local organic farm). Great food.

If this market is open when you are nearby - GO! We always found ourselves wishing Broad Street market was open because it’s so lovely. Wander around the 2 buildings of stalls and shops. Stumble upon some live music or street performance while in between the two buildings.

Came here looking for Sweet 717. These vendors have more into the next building. A fire destroyed the other building and is uninhabitable.

Lil's pretzels. . Very good. I got a regular pretzel, walked away, ate it and had to go back for more! Buttery and just perfect. I also got a ham&cheese pretzel and it too was very good. As fresh as it gets.

Stopped in since we were walking by, delicious food! We got Marie’s Kitchen Haitian Cuisine mac & cheese and nana pudding. 10/10 absolutely recommend

I knew that when I hit Harrisburg I HAD to stop in here! Such a cool place with some very interesting vendors. I got a Shroomsteak from a vendor with Organic Vegan food called Ward of Health and it was DELICIOUS! I highly regretted only getting a half order. I also stopped by a smoothie place called Honeybush and all I can say is YUM! It was an amazing smoothie and I loved seeing them pull out an entire mango and start peeling it to throw in the blender. All fresh ingredients! I'm so happy I made time to stop in here- if I lived in the area I would go here all the time, both for the food vendors and the produce, seafood, and meat counters!

My daughter and I go twice a week. Once to get awesome meats, veggies and farm fresh milk n eggs...along with anything baked. Fudge is awesome, the pretzels, everything about th is place, even the vibe is cool. People are happy and in the first building there is ANY food you could want from peirogies to tacos, to popcorn or pizza. Awesome noodle soups, Greek, BBQ African food, seafood, oxtails...I can't wait till Thursday. That's when we go eat once a week and shop on Saturdays. AND THE RE IS A BEER STAND NOW OFFERING HARRISBURG OWN ZERO DAY ON TAP. AND SMALL BATCH WHISKY, GIN OR RUM! Point is you won't be let down. Most stands take cards...but I'd have some cash to tip the workers.

The broad street market is a great venue in downtown Harrisburg. There are two large buildings with vendors. There are vendors from crafts to food to plants. There is usually farm produce as well. I love the thai restaurant here and the beer garden area. The stands are reasonably priced as well. I enjoy the cure outdoor sitting area they have outside. It does get packed so I get there early!

Tep's seafood in the stone building is the best! Fresh flounder, perch, salmon, crabcakes, salmon cakes and more. He will cook them up for you or you can take them home to cook.

What a great market! Lots of interesting vendors. We got some great BBQ smoked ribs and Mac and cheese.

Love this place. All the offerings it has and the small business atmosphere that resonates throughout all of the buildings.

Gets better every time I go! More choices every time, locally grown and food from every continent, local craft beer, with seating, music outside. My favorite​ market this side of Fanueil Hall / Haymarket in Boston. Bonus: live music outside and Millworks across the street with a cool rooftop bar and more BEER and artwork. No

Tried the 4 bean chili and a lettuce wrap from Manderolas. Delicious! They opened in April 2022 in the building closest to N. Third St. Not yet listed in the Broad Street Market directory.
