Really the best place my Mom has been. The staff is friendly and makes the patient feel like family. The food was good. There was great communication between the staff and family. I have nothing negative to say. My Mom is doing better since being here!

BRNC has been one of the most enjoyable work experiences in my career. I have come across some of the most caring, ethical, intelligent, hardworking CNAs and Nurses. Not to mention the administration, easy to communicate with and happy to assist in any way they can. I can't say enough about the rehab department. Each therapist has a unique set of skills they bring to the table, they care about there patient outcomes and they work extremely well together which makes for a light hearted, fun and therapeutic experience. I hope you choose BRNC for your rehab needs!

While visiting my mother today, her first day, I was greeted by a wonderful woman at the front desk. Having a secure entrance gave me reassurance about my mothers safety. As I got to my mothers room to put her clothes away I placed everything in clean furniture and organized everything in the way my mom would like.we were greeted by her roommate and then by the new activities director who came to welcome my mother and assured she would keep her involved in the functions of the facility. Next a lovely speech therapist came in to assess my mothers ability to eat and discuss her dietary needs. Everyone was courteous and looked happy to work there. As I left I still felt very overwhelmed about this transition of care and the tech cannot recalled her name but she was so comforting to me her and the unit secretary gave me a brief rundown on the unit wrote down my moms likes and routines gave me some good advice and let me know it was alright to feel the way I did and they would be there should we need anything. You never get a second chance to make a First Impression and they nailed it! Let’s hope my mom likes it there.

What makes a facility stand out is the staff. There are a large number of staff who have been here for many years, that’s not something you see too often- and they are compassionate, efficient, & work well together. It was refreshing to see the loyalty and dedication to the patients, residents and each other. This is the only way to ensure best quality care in healthcare today, and the most efficient method of any kind of rating system. Great place to be! Really speaks volumes!

Having your loved one get to this stage in life is sad to say the least. The staff at Barnegat Rehab & Nursing Center have been kind, attentive, and compassionate. I'm also impressed by the cleanliness of the facility. They had a Holiday float parade for the residents the other day. How fun!!

My husband has been here on and off for the last three months. He has come along way due to the exceptional care he has received by all of the staff. His care was overseen by Nurse Practitioner Erin, Unit Manager Nicole, Supervisor Brittney, Nurses Julie and Natasha along with the other wonderful and caring nurses and Aids.
His time in the therapy unit he progressed quickly due to the professionalism and dedication of the therapist and aids that worked with him.
The woman at the front desk, Joan and Lil always greeted myself and family with a warm friendly smile.
A special thanks to Tiffany whom I still have no idea what her actual job description is, she is always all over the place filling in different roles and helping out wherever needed. Thank you for making his stay as good as it could be. God Bess you all.

The care my mother is and has been receiving for the past 3 years is very good and the nurses are excellent. The place is clean and the food is good. I have stayed and had lunch and dinner here many times. The staff is caring and engages with the residents. Everyone knows her name. The activities department has been great keeping us in touch with our love ones. The staff is doing all they can to keep her and the others safe. It is a blessing to know she is being well care for esp. during these times.

I have been lucky enough to work here for the last few years and I have to say I love going to work. Our staffing TEAM goes above and beyond continuously and work together so well. My loved ones have also resided here and couldn’t have been happier with their stay and recovery time. This facility is the best, hand down!

On November 12 I had extensive back surgery. I was at an acute care facility for 2 weeks they sent me home. I fell at home. Hospilized for a week. I selected Barnegat rehab for the close proximity to my house and my father-in-law was also a patient there. What an experience! The first people I want to thank/brag on are the PT group. When I got there i couldn't do basic functions. By the time my insurance company threw me out. I was walking up and down the halls(with a walker), standing straight handsfree without holding a death grip on the walker. Very emotional events for me. They truly care and made therapy fun and challenging. Especially finding staircases to climb.
Food was on the higher end of institutional food. Very accommodating for special requests.
Nursing was good. Some nurses great! Some nurses good! Some,,,. Depending on the day of the week.
I spent about 45 days there. I made friends with alot of the staff and residents. I wish I could have stayed longer. I really wanted to walk out of there. I would definitely recommend them for your rehab and nursing needs.

Due to COVID, I only was able to go into the facility once but I can tell you that the staff there were amazing. In the time my parents were there, about 2 months for my mom and 2 weeks for my dad, they always kept us informed on the status of my parents, called when they had questions, returned our phone calls/emails in a timely manner and were great about keeping us in the loop on treatment plans, including having group consultations with their team, my brother and I. One of the administrators even gave me his cell number when I was having issues with getting a prescription filled through my mom's insurance and checked back with me to see if it had been resolved after normal work hours. When I was inside, it was a nice, pleasant environment and everyone, from desk staff to maintenance to professionals were friendly and warm, greeting us as we went by. I was very pleased with the care my parents received. I would use this facility again. Thank you Barnegat Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.

I was In Barnegat Rehab and nursing home it's the best facility I've ever been too. The nurses and aids are assets to the facility. The food is very good. The Physical Therapy Dept. Is very good at making sure that you get back on your feet. Overall it's the best facility around.

Wife was transferred from hospital after 2 weeks to Barnegat Rehab and Nursing for an additional 2 weeks to recover from a serious Covid 19 virus and effects. I contacted my wife several times a day by Face Phone. While nobody wants to remain in a nursing facility longer than necessary, each time I called that a staff member was there, I found them to be courteous and helpful. She received therapy which apparently once she put her mind to it......improved her condition to be able to come home. We understand that nursing home confinement is difficult for patient and family. I found the results to be what we needed. Food often is and issue, but it appeared they gave her good portions and varied the menu to avoid too much redundancy. I am happy for my wife's outcome. The staff , various shifts and functions all are commended.....and I thank them for returning my wife home.

Today was the 1st day my mom arrived at Barnegat Rehab and Every one from the Nurse, to the Aid grabbing us a chair to sit was friendly and kind. My mom was in this facility 7 yrs ago..
And we had such success with this Rehab that I requested it this time again

My wife's Mother has been in the facility since July 2022. We both agree that the Barnegat Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is the best place in the county for her to be a resident. The facility is super clean with friendly/helpful administration and a fabulous caring nursing staff. What more can you ask for?

I visited my sister in law tonight at Barnegat Nursing and Rehab. I was happy that the place was so clean. It wasn’t years ago. I listened to the nurse or aide Melissa talking with my sister in law’s roommate. She was so patient and kind to her and that makes such a big difference. My sister in law seems to be making great progress.

I I have nothing but good things to say about this facility. The administrator, administrator, Sol, is very visible and always accommodating to me as a family member and also visits with the residents.. The nursing staff, the aides, the recreation director, Cynthia and the receptionist Jean have all been so kind and caring especially my mom, Veronica. I highly recommend this place for its care and kindness.

Having just been discharged from this facility I can say that the staff is overwhelmingly friendly. The therapy group was excellent and was able to get me walking again in a very short period of time. While you obviously would rather not need to stay at a rehab facility you will be happy to have this place as an option

My mother Frances has been here for two weeks as the result of an injury and subsequent surgery. I really can’t say enough about the quality of care she is receiving. There has been Significant improvement in all areas in this brief time.
As far as this outstanding staff is concerned, I don’t want to mention names fearing that I might leave one of these wonderful, enthusiastic, caring people out.

Barnegat rehabilitation is one place I would recommend to anyone . The staff is incredible they treat their patients with care ,respect and understand each individual‘s needs. The facility is gorgeous newly renovated their patients have freedom to go outside and other places throughout the facility you’re not just laying in bed like most rehabilitation centers. This is one place I would definitely come to if I ever needed rehab . I would also like to thank Nicole for an amazing job that she does here she not only hears what the patient and family members say she also listens and always comes through . I could go on and on for days talking about this place everyone here like I said is amazing from the staff all the way on up I hope that anybody that needs rehab will take in consideration the barnegat rehabilitation center and I promise you you will not regret it.

The facility is very secure, and once you get in the staff greets you politely and speaks , which is uplifting, and even some of the residents get familiar with your face and some chit chat , it seems family oriented, I can see that the facility and all the staff cares about each individual and that’s nice to see. I never had a bad experience at all.
