The Frontier Kitchen

I think it's time to shine some light on a fairly new local treasure. The ribs had that signature bark, the gator was delicious and seasoned just right, and the Honey chicken thighs were delicious and tender. We had a great time, staff was friendly and without a doubt we will be going back.
For the sides, the greens were incredible, took one bite and immediately knew I was in the right place. The baked beans are unique and flavorful. The cheesy potato's were a great way to even out the smokey flavors.

I can't wait to drop back by and try some of their new creations. You can tell a lot of heart and soul is put into the menu here and that can really make or break a sit down joint.

Had the Beef Brisket dinner which came with three sides. When it was delivered to the table, I was certain I would have to take some home as all the portions were large, but everything was so tasty I ended up eating it all. The brisket came with a smoky bbq sauce on the side, which I tried, but the brisket was so good by itself that I ate most of it without the sauce. The interior is a bit sparse, especially when comparing it to the old Rembrandt's, but the new owners have plans to personalize the place as they continue to grow the business.

The staff was great and so friendly. All the dishes we tried were outstanding, especially the brisket grilled cheese! The pumpkin cheesecake was easily the best cheesecake I’ve ever had! Definitely add this stop to your trip!

Went for breakfast just as they opened for the day. We were the only ones there, Remi was our server with the help of who I believe to be her mom. She was fantastic and just as good if not better than a lot of servers. My husband and I both had the Cast Iron Biscuits and Gravy one with fried bologna and one with the pork belly. The Biscuits and gravy were some of the best we've ever had. We'll definitely return when visiting Madison again.

The brisket was fantastic; juicy and flavorful. This is the only place in town I would order just the sides as a meal - we had the beans, fried corn, and hash brown casserole - all three were on point - I’d go back just for the sides. Friends have recommended trying the meatloaf - It did not disappoint.
Shout out to the staff for being friendly and awesome. It’s great to see a team who enjoys what they do.

Finally made it into Frontier Kitchen after being open a month or so. First off, the staff was wonderful, our server was a nice young lady who seemed very knowledgeable and made great recommendations, was very friendly and checked in as needed.
The specials that day was the Ribeye steak, and the Pork Belly Ribs, so we decided to try both. The Steak was HUGE! It was seasoned, a different style than many around here are used too, as seasoned steaks seems uncommon in general. IT was a great season blend and it would have been a crime to use steak sauce! The Ribs were literally melt in your mouth tender and the BBQ was great on them as well. Baked Potatoes were better than they should be! The Brussel Sprouts were like candy. We tried 2 pies, which are homemade and were better than any pie I've ever had! We could not have had a better experience and though some may complain about prices, which if you look around are not crazy, it was worth every penny! Great people Great Food!! 100%

The service was great, the food was the same.. never used a sauce or sliced 6 on anything I ate and I hardly never even taste anything without salting prior to eating. Ienjoyed the chicken salad sandwich with the amazing greens and hashbrown casserole, also tasted the brisket sandwich and it was probably the best brisket I have ever tasted. Definitely would recommend and will definitely go back!!

First time dining here today. Loved the atmosphere. The food was incredible! Madison very much needed a new mom and pop breakfast place! We enjoyed our experience and food! We for sure will be back
