The professional, knowledgeable advice regarding orthotics I received from associate Elizabeth was outstanding. She clearly had studies the biomechanics of foot problems and how Aetrix inserts would alleviate pain. I only say I was grateful for her time and I walked out of there with a pair of Aetrix in my Shoes. I plan on buying all my shoes at Sole Provisions in the future.

Great shoe selection for comfortable shoes that are cute. I’ve had numerous interactions with their staff - from the W&M students to the owner/manager and everyone is knowledgeable and friendly.

The store is clean and well organized and sizes in stock. Like a brand they carry but you want a different style - no problem, they’ll order it for you and even have it sent directly to you. Curious about a brand you’ve heard of but never tried, they’ll give you the TL;DR.

Last, the shoes - I’ve bought Blundstone boots, Pikolino’s, Birkenstocks, Dansko, Ilse Jacobsen, Taos, Brooks, Cadence Insoles, Sabatini, and Remonte. I love Hoka which they carry, as well.

My “problem feet” thank me after each trip!

This local shoe store has a wide variety of Brooks and Birkenstock shoes and has many large sizes. The staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. Bought both Brooks running and Birkenstocks shoes from this store. Worth the visit.

On a weekend visit to Williamsburg, I realized my shoes were not sufficient for the amount of walking that I would be doing so while at Merchant Square, I visited Sole Provisions. Angie was so very helpful and found me a pair of shoes that are extremely comfortable! The customer service was exceptional. Thanks for rescuing my weekend!

I love this shop it is within walking distance to food and fun the atmosphere is sophisticated and welcoming. You will have the best time trying on shoe's. At sole provisions you are more than a customer you are family! The employees are welcoming professional and fun.
