Absolutely incredible place to work! The management is very accommodating and are always willing to work with you. In the short time I have been at TCGI, I have met some awesome people and have enjoyed every second of my work. Being able to make a positive impact on clients lives through TCGI is rewarding in many ways. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for a fulfilling career and passionate people.

I have worked for TCGI for several months now. From the moment my employment began, I have always felt like a valued member of a team. I have witnessed management go above and beyond to help new staff succeed at their positions within the company. TCGI provides many services to clients based on their needs and goals. Helping a client achieve a goal they set for themselves is the most rewarding part of the job. The Center for Growth and Independence is a wonderful place to work!

This company would be so much better if Dawn C. Wasn’t working there. I’ve spoke to a lot of people that work for the company and all has the same opinion about her. My honest opinion about her shes prejudice towards African American women and it show. She doesn’t care or try to help her African American female employees. And very unprofessional when it comes to her job. I now see why nobody stay at this company that’s African-America female.

This is a good foundation company. I know a few great people who work here and they try their best! I personally had a CSL worker who helped me with my daughter and she was amazing!!!

The center is amazing. The staff work hard providing the clients what they need. Always working on making things better. Creating fundraisers, helping clients find jobs. Providing a fun safe atmosphere.

This is the best company I’ve ever worked for! Everyone is so caring and passionate about what we do. If I could give it ten stars I would, that’s how much I love it.

I went to one of the softball games and it was very fun and interactive. There fundraisers are to help the community and people in need.

This is a very good company they have great fundraisers to help out in the community and they are extremely well at their jobs, helping others out! Not to mention they are super friendly as well!

This is a Great place to with a loving crew and boss not perfect but we strive to be #1. Our residents are our family. They love being outside watching Semi's and giving them hand signal for them to blow and they love that. Were teaching them to cook. They love the swing set outside. We're doing a Halloween event outside for them. The center got them a ⛺ outside We're they will be safe.

Looking for a company who values you as an employee? Keep looking. The Center is not the place for you. I can't even express how unorganized, unprofessional and completely careless this company is when it comes to their in home clients and employees. Good employees get scolded and degraded for reporting concerns. No on call coverage, so if the next shift don't show up, plan on working a double! No response from superiors when you reach out for support or help finding coverage. I was put in an absolutely awful position, expressing specifically to management I would not be able to cover a double shift if third shift didn't show up. I was ignored. I was left on message read and ignored for hours. Third shift never showed. I was stuck in a postion where I don't make it home for my children, or leave the clients and have a violation on my record. On multiple occasions I was left in situations like this with this company. I absolutely love the clients and I loved the job duties itself, but I could not handle the lack of professionalism that the management offers. If better management, guidance and support was in place, I'd work with these clients forever. Such a shame. But if you want exceptional employees, you must be an exceptional leader and this company does not offer that.

I worked for this company for two weeks and that is all it took for me to see what a total fiasco it all is !!! Some Staff showing up late continuously or not at all to relieve you , with no repercussion at all. They are so desperate for staff that you can basically do whatever you want and still have a job . There is literally no management skills here . I have never ever in my 20 plus years of experience in this field ever worked for a more disorganized group home. I really feel so so sorry for the clients that live there . I wish I would have read the reviews on this employer BEFORE i accepted a position with them . Trust me , they will try to force you to work days you did not agree upon when you were hired as they are unable to keep staff . Managers do not answer inportant messages for hours and will not help if needed for most part . Staff are told if they do not comply, they are not team players. Very very disorganized place ! Be aware !!! I was not given an employee manual until the day before I quit which was two weeks. This should be provided at hire day . Many staff asked me to forward that to them as they also were never provided one . I would most definitely NOT recommend anyone to work for this company. They got one star because I had to pick that or else it would’ve been a No star rating !!! Buckle up for the ride if you do take a position with them !!!!

Had a very bad experience here as a dsp. Trust me it's not worth the damage they do to you.

As a DSP you are just a number. The company doesn't have a real HR and is only looking out for their bottom line. The clients they take on do not get the proper care and protocols are not followed.

Complete joke! I wish I could move several of my clients from their care. Long standing reputation of being “the worst of the worst”

Expected to work every weekend. NO overtime pay.... even when working over 40 hours a week. HORRIBLE!!!!!
