Adopted my forever fur baby on Friday. I waited months for the perfect Big dog and fell in love with this huge, goofy lovable Great Pyrenees Poodle mix at first sight. Got him fully groomed and sadly had to shave all his matted fur, but he emerged from the best local groomers with a goofier smile, tail wagging and ready to live our best life. Winston thinks he's a lap/bed cuddle bug at 78 lbs.
Thanks to everyone at FHS for taking care of him until we found each other; making the adoption application process painless, reasonable fees, and with a friendly staff.

Five years ago we adopted our beloved Houdini, a Bombay cat. He has been a good boy and a very loved member of our family! He's getting older.. time sure does fly. He was 6 months old when we got him. I highly recommend the Flagler County Humane Society to anyone.

They saw potential in " Harley"...now "Holley"....was that her real name ..she is loved by all that meet her ..

Hayden and Stephanie did a great job at helping us find the perfect cat to add to our family. He’s settled right in and is always playing or snuggling! Thank you all at the humane society for your very important work :)

I have been supporting Flagler Humane Society since 2001. We donated a signature dog kennel 2 years ago with names of our pets. I recently did a tour of the facility to judge the condition. Cleanliness, and dog occupancy of kennels. The facilities are spotlessly clean. Not any cage or animal was dirty. All had clean water and plenty of space. There was no negative oder. Amazing given the number of animals in their care. My husband and I feel very good about our contributions to this community of animal adoptions. Go visit, participate in activities, and judge for yourself the value of this organization and the people who work there. You will not be disappointed!

They have a really nice facility and so many varieties. Including some that need a little more tic and care than others
When I went the older cats were free and the kittens were BOGO.
Definitely recommend.

It was an excellent educational Sunday at the FHS orientation day. This is a great way to learn more about how our community is working together to support our pet friends. Great staff and dedicated volunteers who care for God's creatures. Get involved. it's a very rewarding experience. Pet lovers needed.

Great place doing great things! The photos are of Sylvie. We adopted her a few weeks ago. She is an awesome cat. Affectionate, playful, talkative, and cute as a button. The people at FHS take amazing care of their animals and it shows. So, stop in, give an animal some love, and drop off a little donation. Who knows, you may find a new best friend.

Amazing Humane Society my Wife and I adopted 2 cats here and we are all so very happy and such a lovely fit together. This Humane Society takes very well loving care and time for all their animals it is so heart warming. Thank you all for such a loving experience.

Cassie: Got a new home 1 year ago. My new home came with a bed for me in every room, lots of toys and a whole lot of loving (belly rubs every day). We went to a dog parade in Deland and people were throwing treats to me. Yummmmm!

I had a nice roommate at Flagler Humane Society hope he found a good home also. I was happy and well cared for there. Before my new family could take me to my new home they had to be approved. Glade they passed!

Being a young pup I had some behaviors that needed correcting but with the help of “The Dog Whisperer” Caesar Milan’s TV shows my new family learned how to help me change my behavior.

Thank you Flagler Humane Society for taking good care of me until my new Mom and Dad could find me. Lots of puppy kisses!

I have heard a lot of negative things about this place but I was super impressed with them this weekend at the shot clinic . People have to keep in mind these are mostly volunteers and your going to have a wait time . Thanks for all you do !

Wonderful care from the staff. Extremely caring. I volunteer there and encourage everyone to do so as well. They need fosters as they have an overload of kittens!

I adopted my best friend Percy about a month ago, and I wouldn't trade him for anything. He is the goofiest, sweetest, most gentle little guy and I'm so happy I found him. It was a really easy process and I'm very thankful that the staff and volunteers took such good care of my little man and continue to do so for the other animals there. Go meet some shelter doggies, you never know which one could be your new bestie :)

Got my kitty IVY here about a year ago. She has been a blessing and is quite the queen of our home. The staff was very professional and caring. The process went quick.

Absolutely phenomenal staff! They were very pleasant and knowledgeable. Gave us everything we needed to take our new family members home. And we’re there to answer any questions we had days following! If you’re looking to adopt your new friend check them out! I promise you won’t be disappointed.

It was the hardest day for me..... I cried like a baby because I had to surrender my dog.and they comforted me and assured me that my Coconut would be just fine and that she will be pared with a Good family. I believed because I was lead there by prayer.i live in Jacksonville FL. But I had no peace in surrendering her here. I know that coconut is in a good place and with the family she will be pared with will enjoy her ministry. ❤🙌🏾🐶

Horrible day for me having to put down my 16 year old best friend cat we got from you.. But All of you helped me through it with true passion. You all are great.

Flagler Humane Society was wonderful. Everyone there was so friendly & helpful, they’re truly dedicated to the animals. I just adopted my new furr ever friend, Stella Luna, from FHS. I’m so grateful for all of their hard work. The facility is beautiful & well kept, the staff is knowledgeable & quite friendly. Thank you all for being such a valuable asset to our community 🙏
