La Palapa Mexican Restaurant

Food is delicious. We are not from the area. We decided to stop by on our way home and I wanted to try this place. I am not disappointed the aguachiles, camarones empanizados y tacos de camaron were on point. Definitely coming back when we are in the area.

Authentic ingredients, great delicious options. This was a recommendation from a close friend. I tried it and lived it. Staff is very friendly and attentative. I felt welcomed and appreciated. Great drinks and a huge selection of mixed drinks. Family oriented. I recommend the Aguachilles.

Had the caldo siete ( seven seas ) mares. It was delicious, not spicy or over done. Had fresh shrimp, clams and a good portion of crab. It was proper for the winter environment.
Met the owner and the waitress was superb. No noice, just food and service.

Interesting find! I usually come here for the pupusas next door but the seafood is amazing. Great flavor and really attentive waitress. I have no idea how they get fresh seafood in the middle of the desert but it's delicious here.

This place is great. I come here often and I've never been disappointed. Try the stuffed fish fillet, it amazing. I think this has to be the best seafood in all of Palm Springs. Service was fast and I nevernever had to ask for a refill. Ask for Mario, not sure if he's the owner but he cooks like a Ninja Warrior. The best place on earth.

Great seafood at this place! Wait staff was very friendly, even though we arrived almost at closing time. The whole fried bass was delicious, as we're chicken enchiladas and came asada..

The guacamole in the photo was their largest size, which struck us as a bit small, but it was delicious and a minor complaint.

Overall a superior Mexican restaurant, and we will definitely return.

We went in knowing nothng of the place. First impression was it was clean. Looks more like a fast food joint. I was personally afraid it was ONLY fish dishes. I dont love fish. However was pleasantly surprised to get one of literally the BEST Shreaded Beef Chimichangas I have ever had. It was huge and very authentic. My lady got deep fried fish tacos which were amazing. More fish IN them than some places give you for fish and chips. They were too amazing. Perfectly cooked and crispy. We are only here for 2 days and are going to havebdinner with them again tonight.

My favorite place of all time. The oysters preparados are amazing. The aguachili is like no where else and the lowest prices around...oh yeah, $2 bud light draft all day every day, but I always get a chavela with negra modelo... mmmm delicious

One of the Best Mexican food in cathedral city. I have came here since I was 5 and now I'm 28 still going. Please stop by and give it a try you won't regret it.

Chavelas? DELISH. Before I knew it I was on my 5th one.. the waitress there is so sweet and very accommodating! This is definitely my new go-to. Great service. And great prices!

This restaurant is really good for anyone. Whether it's alone or a couple even a family..there's beer & wine.appetizers & great tasting entries & a kids menu.
