The Barn at Valhalla

We were so fortunate to have our wedding at the Barn at Valhalla. It is an absolutely gorgeous venue with options for indoor and outdoor ceremonies. The biggest bonus for us was that we were able to rent the venue for the entire weekend and our bridal party could stay on site with us- the rental includes the barn with a loft that has 4 bedrooms and the house which includes a bridal suite, a guest room, and a man cave/bunk room equipped with everything the groomsmen could want (pool table, poker table, darts, cornhole, etc.). I also highly recommend the day of coordination services because Marguerite was wonderful to work with and made our wedding day stress free! She took care of everything and made sure the day ran so smoothly that I had absolutely nothing to worry about. She was also very responsive to emails and answered any questions we could think of leading up to the big day. I would absolutely recommend this venue to any couple looking to get married in a picturesque location!

Mother Nature decided to rain on us all day, but Marguerite and the entire staff went out of their way to make the day a memorable one. We are truly grateful for their help making lemonade out of lemons. Umbrellas at every entrance. Seamless shift to a day full of “Plan B’s” because of the rain. While others panicked a bit, Marguerite and staff were the picture of calm and patience. Fantastic day after all. Thank you again for a day I am sure my daughter will cherish forever.

We had such an amazing wedding thanks to Marguerite and her team at the barn at Valhalla! Marguerite was with us every step of the way to make sure that our wedding was every thing that we wanted. She is amazing to work with and the amount of options at the venue are endless. We actually changed our ceremony site the day before the wedding and Marguerite made sure that it went off without out a hitch. Not only do you get the venue for the entire weekend there is so much sleeping space all of our wedding party and our families were able to stay on site. Her team was extremely helpful and professional and were there the entire weekend to make sure everything ran smoothly. While we were getting ready Marguerite and team set up all of the decor and it looked exactly how we envisioned it. Throughout the night Marguerite helped us stay on schedule but we never felt rushed as she would give us our options so we got to choose how we wanted the entire night to run which we really appreciated. All of our guests commented about how beautiful the venue is and we enjoyed being able to use the place the entire weekend! 10/10 recommend!

I went to a wedding here in early October and it was absolutely gorgeous! There were a lot of beautiful details that went into this venue and you can tell they put a lot of work into it. The fireplace area is cozy and stunning. There is a nice gazebo over the lake that has beautiful sunset views! The whole experience was incredible and I appreciate the care given to the location and people.
The only downside is the mosquitoes and service is a little slow. But you can't control nature and if you're at a wedding you should be giving your attention to everyone except for your phone so this isn't a problem for me.

LOVELY! So grateful to Marguerite and team for their top-notch service and support. Our special day was made wonderful in large part due to this crew and their beautiful space. We warmly recommend Barn at Valhalla to other couples looking for the perfect venue to have their moment.

Marguerite and her staff are TOP notch professionals. If you want to have a smooth, flawless wedding at a gorgeous venue that your guests will RAVE about, come to the Barn!! She was so helpful from day one, answering all of our questions and giving us great guidance. The venu is stunning, and felt like home. Wish we could do it all again!

The Barn at Valhalla is a beautiful venue. It is in a wooded area on a lake. They have lodging there for the wedding party and family . Marguerite is a gem to work with. I have officiated several weddings there. I always look forward to being there.

I can't say enough good things about the barn and Marguerite. In addition to using The Barn as our wedding venue Marguerite was our wedding planner. She made the entire experience so smooth by helping us find and book the vendors we needed and used her expertise to advise us every step of the way. On the weekend of our wedding hurricane Ian hit and took out the power. The Barn was well prepared to handle the situation and quickly got the generators up and running. The entire wedding went smoothly thanks to the barns preparedness and professionalism. Every time I reached out to Marguerite with a question she was 10 steps ahead of me. Without her and all the great work from her team the weekend could have been a disaster and instead it's a perfect memory. Also the Barn is a beautiful and comfortable venue. Would highly recommend.

What an extraordinary wedding week-end we had at the Barn at Valhalla! If you are seeking a breathtaking venue complete with gorgeous natural scenery AND accommodations, you must visit this venue! From the moment the wedding party arrived on Friday until departure on Sunday, everything was well coordinated and executed with extreme care and dedication. Marguerite is a jewel to work with and really goes the extra mile to ensure your wedding experience is nothing less than spectacular! It was the perfect venue for my daughter's wedding. The entire staff was incredible and attended to every detail with excellence. Each guest we spoke with said that this was the most beautiful and most fun wedding they had ever attended. Marguerite, her team, and the Barn at Valhalla venue receive the highest marks possible for an incredible wedding experience!

My husband and I spent hours researching wedding venues and the barn stood out to us from the
beginning. After seeing it in person, we knew we had found the perfect place to have our wedding.
Throughout the entire process Marguerite and her team were incredibly helpful, responsive, and very
patient with all my questions. Leading up to the wedding I had no worries about the day because I felt so
comfortable with Marguerite and her team. We loved being able to have our family and the wedding
party stay on site, and the ability to have the barn from Friday morning to Sunday afternoon. We got to
spend so much extra time with our friends and family having the whole weekend with them. Waking up
at the barn the day of the wedding was made even better by how peaceful the setting is there. People
commented on how calm I was that day and it’s very much due to Marguerite and everyone at the barn.
I literally worried about nothing and while it seemed like an effortless day, I know there was a whole
team of people working hard to make sure that’s how I felt. The bonus of leaving the next day with the
only responsibility of taking home with us what we had brought, helped out once again by everyone at
the barn. I really can’t say enough about how much we loved having our wedding at The Barn at
Valhalla. The beauty of the venue teamed with the kindness and hard work of everyone who works
there truly made it the best day of our lives.

I can’t recommend this place enough!!! Marguerite And her team absolutely killed it! It poured down rain the entire weekend and Marguerite did a fantastic job with helping me figure out plan B for shifting the ceremony inside and it was just as magical and beautiful as I dreamed it would be! And when I tell you it was pouring it was POURING! But Marguerite and her team didn’t skip a beat in making sure I was happy and putting things together to keep everyone as dry as possible! All our family came from out of town so to be able to allow our whole wedding party and immediate family to stay on site with us was a huge plus and just made the weekend even more magical being able to spend all that time with family and friends all weekend and not have to worry about travel on or before our wedding day! Through the whole process she made sure we had everything we needed and really made sure our day was still so perfect even with all the rain! The grounds are so beautiful and at every turn!! Highly highly recommend having your wedding here!! Such a magical place and the team is just top notch!!!

We could not have chosen a better venue for our daughter's wedding on June 4th, nor a more perfect day. The Barn at Valhalla is a lovely quiet venue, which has so much to offer.
The barn, the lodge, the gazebo on the lake, the gorgeous outdoor fireplace are magical to say the least.
The accommodations on site are wonderful and allow for the most smooth transitions between rehearsal dinner, to getting ready for the wedding, to ceremony, wedding photos, dining and dancing!
Aside from the lodge and barn accommodations, we also rented two homes on the property for our large family, and both homes were perfect and so easy for us to be all together at every turn!
I highly recommend you hire the 'day of co-ordinator', who we were so lucky to have done! Marguerite is an exceptional manager of this amazing venue and a wonderfully organized coordinator. She kept our wild bunch in hand and ensured that the day went off without a hitch!

The Barn at Valhalla was the absolute perfect venue for our late summer evening wedding! Carly and Dillon, the owners, along with the venue manager were incredibly accommodating and made our wedding weekend an absolute pleasure! The grounds at the Barn are gorgeous (hello awesome pictures!) and incredibly well kept and having the option to also rent the Lodge (which we did) was amazing! The bridal party, along with the parents of the bride, were able to spend the entire weekend on the property which made for a hassle free and relaxing wedding weekend! I highly highly recommend this venue for your wedding celebration! I could not be happier with our choice and will cherish every minute we spent at the Barn at Valhalla! The first time my husband (then fiancé) and I visited The Barn at Valhalla we fell in love. From the amazing woodwork, to all of the land, to the accommodations they provide, we knew that it was the place we wanted to be married. Marguerite is amazing to work with. She responded to all of the dozens of questions I had, and eased my mind during covid. We had a beautiful spring wedding on the heart shaped deck and our whole wedding party, plus some family, were able to stay at the venue with us. It was perfect to have the honeymoon suite the night of the wedding to actually relax after going nonstop the past two days. We would recommend The Barn at Valhalla to any and everyone!

We had our wedding at The Barn at Valhalla a month ago and everything about our day was perfect! One of my favorite things about the barn is that we were able to see the amazing upgrades and work that the owners put into the barn. We booked the barn over a year before our wedding, so every time we looked at pictures/visited the site new things were updated (like the speakeasy and the Gazebo). Each time we saw the venue it got better and better!! Something that sets the barn apart from other venues is that we had access to the venue for the whole weekend (Friday-Sunday) which was wonderful for setting up. We used the house at the barn for our rehearsal dinner and the space was perfect for a family dinner (of about 60 people) . Our families could not stop commenting on how beautiful the venue and the surrounding grounds were. Another major advantage is that our entire bridal party was able to sleep at the house and above the barn the night before and the night of the wedding which saved everyone from having to book a separate hotel! We had our ceremony by a tree on the grounds and the property manager had no problem cutting the grass to fit our ceremony site perfectly. We rented a tent which attached nicely to the barn and had our tables for the reception under the tent. We had our dancing and other details in the barn, which was a perfect set up. During cocktail hour we utilized the hearth which was perfect because our guests were able to explore the grounds and not be too confined to one space. So much was included at the barn that booking it as our venue was a must! We could not be happier about our wedding location and would recommend The Barn at Valhalla to friends and anyone looking for an awesome venue!

We used the Barn at Valhalla for our wedding January 26, 2019 and I have to say that it was the best decision we could have made. We researched several venues and went to visit all of them, but once we saw the Barn our decision was made. We had a lot of out of town guests and it was a perfect place for us to have family stay with us while we prepared for our big day! The landscaping is beautiful and the pictures that we got were amazing. There were so many amenities that we were able to take advantage of from the game room for down time to the lodge and kitchen areas for breakfast with family. It was truly the most beautiful venue I've ever seen, all of our guests were so impressed and we are still getting rave reviews. The managers were so helpful throughout and kind. Truly the best possible bang for your buck for your wedding!❤

SIMPLY AMAZING!! From the first email to the final check out, the owners are responsive and accommodating! Marguerite was wonderful! Any question or needs that my mother and I had were answered quickly and without any hassle. The place itself is just gorgeous and was the perfect location! I had looked online at a ton of venues and fell in love with the BAV before even going to the location. Once we were there it was known immediately by both my fiance and I that this is where we would get married. We got married on a Tuesday so we had the venue Monday-Wednesday. It actually worked out fantastic and saved us some money. We had all day Monday to set up the venue, and to hang out as a family, as well as had the rehearsal dinner there. It was nice to have a place for the bridal party to sleep both before and after the wedding. It made the day seem longer since we were with everyone since Monday morning. I have heard nothing but positive comments from our guests about how gorgeous the venue was. There is so much space so it never felt congested. Plus there are amazing places to get your pictures. I couldn't recommend this place enough!!!

The Barn at Valhalla was our top pick for venue and with their option to get married on a weekday for a lower price, we were able to afford the venue of our dreams! The flexibility and expansiveness of the venue meant that we had TONS of options for rehearsal dinner, ceremony, reception spaces, picture opportunities, sleeping accommodations, getting ready rooms, you name it! Having the venue from 8am the day before the wedding up until noon the day after also meant we had plenty of time to set up and take everything down before and after, and all our friends were able to stay at the venue in their gorgeous bedrooms. There is even a game room with ping pong tables, a mini putting green, a poker table, foosball, etc. that kept our guests (and groomsmen!) entertained. We had a hot tub in our honeymoon suite and the Lodge has dorm-style (but way nicer) bathrooms so everyone can shower and get ready at the same time. Once we checked in, we were basically left alone unless we had any questions, so we had a lot of privacy but could also rely on venue staff to set up and move the tables as we liked to prepare for the big day. The venue had basically EVERYTHING we could ever need except an ice-maker which was an easy fix. I wish we could've stayed for a whole week to make full use of the amenities and to enjoy the grounds because they were so beautiful! If you're looking for a huge venue with lots of sleeping space and gorgeous views that you can enjoy for three days, look no further!

Goodness, where even to start! Having our wedding at The Barn at Valhalla was absolutely lovely. From our first visit until the Sunday after the wedding, Barbara, Dillon and Carly were the best to work with. They were so flexible in helping us find the PERFECT ceremony spot (those woods are magical!), they made sure we had everything we needed, and were truly invested in Joel, myself, and our families as people, as opposed to just clients. Having the barn and the lodge for the whole weekend was such a treat - Friday night was a relaxed rehearsal dinner, and all the bridal party stayed at the site for the weekend. It made things so special to have dear family and friends all in one place. We can't recommend this place too much - it's absolutely stunning, it's the perfect place to foster togetherness, it and made our celebration so sweet. Thank you, Barbara, Carly and Dillon, for taking care of us so well! We couldn't have wanted things any other way.

My sister got married at the Barn at Valhalla last month. It was such a beautiful and wonderful experience. We were able to be on the property from Friday-Sunday. It was so nice to be able to stay at the venue the night before and the night of the wedding. The barn was beautifully furnished and the bridesmaids had more than enough space to get ready for the day of the wedding! The main house was a great event space for the rehearsal dinner and a cool place for the groomsmen to hang out and get ready before the ceremony. The property as a whole made this weekend so special for my sister and our entire family. The lawn was the perfect backdrop for the wedding ceremony and wedding photos. Having dinner in the tent was a great addition to the party space in the barn. Again, I cannot say enough about how awesome it was to not have to travel for any part of the wedding weekend. The owners were extremely helpful and definitely added to everyone's positive experience!! I did not want the weekend to end because I did not want to leave this beautiful property!!
