Carolina Grove

My husband and I got married here last month and it was truly incredible. Their team made everything run so smoothly and made the day absolutely beautiful, even though we had to use our rain plan (which I changed the location of the week of the wedding and they were so patient with my indecisiveness). I really love that they have 4 unique spaces to use for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception that allows the day to flow really nicely and allows for seamless adjustments/"flips"! We worked with Kate as our planner through the venue, and her calm demeanor kept me sane in the few crazy months leading up to the wedding and on wedding day. I didn't have to worry about a thing between the Carolina Grove team, my amazing family, and rest of our vendors. We had the best day ever here! Highly recommend for any couple!

I can't recommend Carolina Grove enough! From start to finish the entire team was so helpful, kind, and responsive. Pam is incredibly warm and welcoming, Melissa is extremely knowledgable on the space, and Stephen is understanding and accommodating. We worked with Mackenzie on planning and she is so incredibly organized, calm, patient, funny, and helpful!! I can't recommend the entire experience enough – the whole staff goes above and beyond for you! Not to mention - the space is absolutely beautiful!!

Carolina Grove is a beautiful venue! As a wedding photographer, Carolina Grove is one of my favorite venues in the triangle. The venue is tucked back in the woods in Hillsborough, giving it a rustic feel without the hustle and bustle of the nearby city - but is still in a convenient spot that doesn't require much travel. The bridal suite is big, light, and bright with a stunning window - perfect for those gorgeous pre-ceremony photos while you are getting ready with your girls. The space is so versatile and open, allowing for couples to decorate in any way they'd like.

I adore photographing at Carolina Grove and can't wait to be back in the future! To any couple looking for their perfect venue outside of Raleigh - this is it!!

We were pretty sure the Grove was *it* when we toured, and we were right. Pam and team are absolutely amazing to work with and I'll try to stick to the highlights:

(1) Natural beauty! The Grove in June is GREEN and we took full advantage of it with minimal decor that let the venue and nature shine. It was amazing. Guests loved it and felt like it was such a unique venue.

(2) Well-known team! Even though the Grove is relatively new as a venue, they have such a stellar reputation with folks across town already. It was really nice to know that so many of our vendors felt comfortable and taken care of there, and ready to do their best. Little things - like outlets being labeled so the DJ doesn't have to wonder whether they have sufficient power for his equipment - make a huge difference!

(3) So flexible, prompt, and on board with your vision! Any time we had a question, or wanted to come out for ANOTHER visit, or threw a curveball, Pam was right there with us. 24 hr response time on emails. Recommendations for vendors and setup. One month out from the wedding - can we have compostable disposables? No problem.

We had the wedding of our dreams, all thanks to the lovely team and venue at Carolina Grove! The venue is the perfect back drop for any type of wedding, and in our case, it was a New Years Eve party - and boy, was it a party! The staff at the Grove provided a planning packet and a list of recommended vendors; all the vendors we used were recommended by them and everyone was spectacular! The staff at the Grove made it so easy to coordinate with our other vendors as well. We also used the in-house wedding planning service that made the final details leading up to the event, and the wedding day, so easy for us and our families. A snafu happened where our wedding coordinator got sick (boo flu season!) and the Carolina Grove had a replacement with no muss or fuss, and she did great!

We truly could not have imagined a better wedding, setting, and party than what we got at the Carolina Grove. It was a dream come true. The photos I've attached serve as proof at how perfect and gorgeous everything was. 15/10 recommend!!

We are so happy we had our wedding at Carolina Grove! Katie was amazing to work with and made our day run so smoothly. All of the recommended vendors were great to work with as well. The whole day was beautiful and we felt like we were in a fairytale! Our guests are still talking about how it was the best wedding they had been to and how gorgeous it was. We would definitely recommend anyone to have their wedding there. It was our dream wedding!

Carolina Grove was exactly what we wanted before we knew what we wanted from a venue. From our initial consult a year before the wedding to wedding day, the team at Carolina Grove made the entire process easy, stress-free, and fun. My bride and I always felt like we were in good hands and trusted the Carolina Grove team to help make our day special. We got married a month ago now and we still have friends and family telling us how great of a celebration the day was and its all because of Kate, our Carolina Grove in-house coordinator, the entire team at Carolina Grove, as well as our vendor team. Our wedding day went without a hitch, there were no mistakes, literally nothing went wrong and everyone had a blast. My bride and I are truly appreciative of Kate's hard work the day of & all the months prior to make our day so special. We can't recommend Carolina Grove enough, not just because it is a beautiful venue but because the people at Carolina Grove and the vendors they work with make the process so easy, memorable, and personable.

The BEST wedding venue for the views and for the staff! If you want a gorgeous wedding venue with picturesque scenery, feeling like you are so remote, but only 20 minutes from downtown durham, and the best team to support you, then Carolina Grove is your venue! Our wedding was absolutely perfect and we couldn't have done it without the support of the Carolina Grove Team. From the day we did our tour with Melissa we were blown away with the customer experience. We were then paired with Kate as a coordinator and she is absolutely one of the best human beings and made sure everything the day of ran smoothly. We love the Carolina Grove and we loved watching our guests fall in love with it too. 10/10! P.S. Definitely take fun photos in the vault, we love ours!

Dreamy wedding venue! We had toured several venues in the triangle, and when we visited Carolina Grove, my partner and I instantly agreed that this was the one. We love the indoor-outdoor flow and the space to move around but with everything still in close proximity. The bridal suite is one of the best I've seen! The venue staff are incredibly kind and helpful. Pam took her time with our tour and answered all of our questions (we were not rushed or pressured at all). Melissa did a planning kick-off call with me and suggested so many great vendors. Mackenzie was present on our wedding day--making sure everything came together. Our spring wedding was absolutely beautiful!! The trees and the light were so perfect. The amenities and furniture pieces provided are so elegant. Our guests raved about the wedding but specifically Carolina Grove!! Could not recommend enough.

The Carolina Grove team is absolutely incredible from start to finish. On the day we toured, we immediately were drawn to Melissa's warmth. She and her team guided us through every step of the process. Just when we thought we hit the jackpot with Melissa, we met Pam, Kate and Stephen who all went above and beyond throughout the planning and on the day of. Chef's kiss to Stephen's cocktails, Kate's superb organization and Pam's attention to each detail of the venue space and day. It was a picture perfect day thanks to these professionals. Cannot thank them enough!

STUNNING WEDDING VENUE!! The first time we toured this venue we knew it was perfect for us & ended up booking it the same week! Every single spot at the venue is picture perfect, before even adding decor/flowers. All staff members were incredibly friendly, helpful, and very easy to communicate with throughout the entire wedding process. We used one of CG’s wedding planners too and we could not recommend that enough! She knew the space and was able to make suggestions and communicate with our outside vendors. The bridal suite is also🤩 10/10 venue

Carolina Grove is an absolute dream of a wedding venue! My husband and I toured it on a whim when down in NC for a weekend and the second we walked in we knew it was our place. The bridal suite is breathtaking and is not only spacious for the bride/bridesmaids but also makes for gorgeous pictures. The grooms suite doesn’t disappoint, nor does the speakeasy in the basement! Aside from the venue itself, the team is SO helpful throughout the entire wedding planning process. We worked with Summer and could not be happier with all the assistance she gave us, thinking of all the small things we definitely would’ve forgotten and making sure everything ran smoothly on our big day. We had a few things not go to plan and she handled them with ease and made the necessary transitions in plans seamless. We cannot recommend Carolina Grove enough for your big day!

This venue is incredible. We had such a nice, smooth wedding day and I can't thank the staff/planner at Carolina Grove enough for all their help. Would definitely recommend using the Carolina Grove planning service as it made wedding day so smooth and easy for us as a couple. The planners know everything about the venue and they are so helpful in coordinating all vendors day of that you don't have to worry about anything! Aya was our planner and she was fantastic! We also enjoyed using all parts of the venue on our wedding day, from the outdoor ceremony to the cocktail hour (also outside), as well as the indoor reception to end the evening - the venue has such a nice flow to it and it's easy for your guests to know where to go for each part of the day.

The wedding party groups also have nice areas to get ready within the venue. I was able to have access pretty early on wedding day to start getting ready with my girls, and the staff made it fun and logistically possible for us to have meals up in the bridal suite while enjoying getting ready together and spending the day relaxing. I also liked the placement of the bridal suite because you can watch the day unfold and all the vendors set everything up so nicely - you can watch them do it from up above! The groom and groomsmen also have a nice area to hang out, and it is a very spacious spot with lots of room for games, space for food to be delivered, and it's far away from the girls if you as a couple aren't going to see each other before the ceremony!

My husband and I got married at Carolina Grove in June, and we had the absolute best experience! From our venue tour with Pam to working out the final details with Eliza, the Carolina Grove team was incredibly kind and helpful every step of the way. The venue space is beautiful indoors and outdoors, and all of our guests had wonderful things to say. We 1000% recommend anyone considering having their wedding here -- you will not regret it!

GET MARRIED HERE! You will not regret it! The physical space is beautiful, the staff is beyond helpful in the planning process, and the whole experience will be wonderful! Thank you to the Carolina Grove team for giving us the wedding of our dreams!

If we could give Carolina Grove more stars we would! Not only is the venue absolutely stunning as is, but the team at the Grove truly go the extra mile to make sure that their couples have a perfect experience and even more perfect wedding day. Summer and Melissa are so friendly and communicative and worked with us every step of the way to ensure everything was planned for and made sure the day went as smooth as possible. Even still, we are getting comments from our guests saying how perfect and beautiful everything was, and thanks to the wonderful team at the Grove, we couldn't agree more!

It was so easy to fall in love with Carolina Grove the moment we stepped foot in the space (I mean have you seen the bridal suite!?) when on venue tours, but it was so refreshing and comforting to also have so much help throughout the process. Wedding planning can truly be daunting, but they were there for us whenever we needed their help, gave us reassurance constantly, and even took care of some things we didn't even think of. If we could do it all over again, we would choose the Carolina Grove a million times over, just want to give so many thanks and all appreciation to the team!

Carolina Grove is a dream wedding venue! Melissa, the owner, is incredible! She was so kind and easy to work with! Very responsive and professional; it felt like we were working with a friend! She really thought everything out….from the details of the bridal suite, to the ceremony spots, to the way the venue was built so that the light hits perfectly from all angles for photos. Truly the perfect wedding venue! We love everything about Carolina Grove and highly recommend booking it as your venue!

We had our wedding in July and Carolina Grove was the perfect venue for us!!

The venue itself is so beautiful with the best natural light inside and out, which was super important to us, especially in the event of rain.

The patio, garage doors, and string lights were perfect for our indoor/outdoor vision - it allowed our guests to come in and out all night seamlessly!

The bridal suite is by far the most elegant one I have seen in the Raleigh/Durham area, and it made it easy for 17 ladies to all get ready! The suite has tons of seating/couches, 8+ mirrors and a full bathroom so it is perfect for a large bridal party! Not to mention the grooms quarters - the guys loved getting ready in their suite and underground vault!

Lastly, Melissa and the entire Carolina Grove team have A+ service - from the moment we toured to the Wedding clean up, the answer to every question was always "Yes of course we can do that!" and it made it so easy for us to plan and get creative with all our personal touches on our special day!

Carolina Grove is the most beautifully magical place to have a wedding. The venue is gorgeous and perfect. The staff is amazing. Our guests were blown away. I am so honored to have such a cherished memory of our special day at this hidden gem. Choose them!!!! You will not be disappointed.

To sum our experience with Carolina Grove (and owners Melissa and her husband) in two words... AMAZING & DREAMY! We got married in May of 2021 and that couldn't have been a more perfect time with everything blooming and being so colorful! We booked our wedding in the early stages of the venue being built so we never saw it complete before booking, we only saw the floor plan and the dream Melissa had. This was the first venue we looked at and nothing compared to the complete package Carolina Grove had to offer. We were fortunate enough to be able to go back multiple times during the building process to see progress and man oh man.... Melissa's dream venue really came to life! Everything we wanted in a venue! Fast forward to our rehearsal night and wedding day and we couldn't have been happier with our choice! I loved that both my husband and I had our own separate areas to get ready and spend the morning there; as well as our beautiful wedding ceremony spot! Melissa was so helpful during planning and during the day of the wedding. Highly recommend this venue.. its not only the location of where we got married but its the location that we made multiple memories with friends and family to talk about for years to come!
