The doctor is friendly and professional. And Jay was the associate who helped me order my glasses and he is very friendly and knowledgeable as well. He went out of his way to make sure my glasses were right, and he made my appointment a great experience.

Honestly, I have had nothing but great experiences with the Frederick Visionworks on 355. I find the employees are pleasant and professional. Today I went there with a broken pair of glasses and in 10 minutes I had a new frame using the same lens. Needless to say I was super happy!

The doctor was very informative and helpful, but the customer service reps in the front were absolutely amazing! They help me get the right frames to fit my face as well as explaining the ins and outs of what my insurance would pay for. An overall great experience with a clean and easy to access atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Everyone was welcoming from the beginning. All staff members were friendly and helpful. Great selection of glasses. Dr. Arthur was very detailed about my exam and explained things very well.

Great staff. The optometrist, Dr. Auther, and the ladies up front, Jamia and Kelly were amazing at assisting me in frame choices. I got a great deal on glasses!

Frederick location. Staff were friendly and professional. While I was waiting I picked out the glasses I wanted. Testing was thorough. I think I was in out in about 45 minutes.

I stepped on my only pair of glasses on a weekend, after calling 12 places with no solutions, I decided to just book online with Vision Works for that upcoming Monday. The booking process was extremely easy, and it was made clear online it would be a telehealth exam. Once there, Chelsea immediately started looking for new frames for my old lenses, something i was told by many other places was not doable. If she had not, I would not have been able to see (or drive) for weeks until my new glasses came in. This in itself was a life saver. Jay did part of my exam, and was extremely thorough in his explanations and made everything quick and easy. I actually preferred the telehealth exam, two doctors without me moving a step? Yes please. The whole staff was incredible, patient, and welcoming. I was initially horrified I wouldn’t have any vision until the new glasses came in, but because of Chelsea and Jay I didn’t have to put my life on pause. Best case scenario, I will absolutely be back for any future concerns, can’t wait to get my two new pairs of glasses! Thank you guys!

I had a great experience. Good selection of frames including ones below $100. Staff is super friendly and helpful. I love the Dr. at Urbana Pike location. One downside-didn’t tell me cost of Elite Non-glare which was more than the actual frame. If I had known cost I wouldn’t have purchased (didn’t see cost breakdown until I got receipt). But overall a good experience.

From the moment I stepped in to Visionworks on Buckeystown Pike in Frederick on through all steps of my annual exam and consultation with Kelly, the remote/virtual tech, doctor and again with Kelly in deciding on glasses in addition to contact lenses, I was thoroughly please and impressed beyond my expectations with everything and everyone. "To boot" the team was really friendly and informative and helpful both in store and virtually, and I got an incredible deal on everything I was hoping to get. I told my wife to get over to Visionworks as soon as she can bc it was the best experience at an eye care provider I have had in years. Thanks so much and will be “seeing” the store and staff again next year. :-)

I like the fact that Visionworks is a low pressure place to get an eye exam and glasses. I also noted that they upgraded their eye exam with a precision Optos device. I don't plan on changing providers or locations.

Chelsea helped me today and she was wonderful!

Been there for two eye exams over a period of three years. Customer service was super friendly every time and I never had any problems or issues with my visits. The optometrist is extremely friendly, quick, and professional; and seemed to really enjoy her field as she explained to me various aspects of the scans she took of my eyes. They also have a pretty decent selection of frames with cheaper and more expensive models ($50-$300+ is around the range from what I saw). They also seem responsive to the criticism they receive in their reviews, which is indicative of a good business.

I absolutely love this place! The woman who works up front (Nicole?) was super friendly and knowledgeable. She helped me pick out the right size frames and sunglasses. I never knew that glasses are measured by essentially the width of your face. I always would pick up a pair, put them on, and be on my merryway. Ever since then, I have received so many compliments. I'm very self-conscious so that definitely makes me feel better. The lady doctor was also super friendly and patient. She took her time to answer any questions I had. Not to mention, the entire staff was accommodating with me as my 2-month-old baby was fussy the entire visit; I even got to hold him during the vision exam!

I can't forget to mention, they have super affordable frame options also!!

I have gone to this location for a few years now and the staff has always been helpful and patient during the eye exams and while picking out frames. We are an Army family and move often. I’ve just moved to a new state and I needed information for my new eye doctor. I just got off the phone with Shawn and I have never had a nicer conversation from any doctors office. This last encounter is what made me decide to write this review. Very pleasant experience overall. Highly recommend.
