It was our first time here and we will definitely be back! INCREDIBLE food! Aldo was phenomenal with service and the food was fresh and tasted great! Very authentic and we’re happy we went!

Stumbled upon El Mexico Lido during a late-night drive down the shore with my girlfriend and it was a game-changer. Authentic tacos that were beyond delicious turned our hunger into a memorable feast. Exceptional flavors, warm service, and a night made awesome by the best tacos around. Can't wait to return!

Me and my lady stopped in close to closing time. I've been eyeing the place for years since I live close-by in the summer. I have been avoidant of some local Mexican joints due to the lack of authenticity that I am used to, being from an area that is truly authentic. However, being there for many years says alot! And they are the real deal! Although they were at the end of their day, Aldo asked the crew what they could serve still, and Tacos de Pollo (chicken tacos) was one of the items! We had 2 orders with rice and beans and it was fantastic! And, as an added bonus my girl wanted that anyway, so it was a HIT! As soon as I lifted the bag I realized it was weighty! And the aroma on the way to our favorite picnic spot was tantalizing! The food was perfect! And even the limes were juicy!
It was $21 for both orders and on top of that, I got luckier than I have in years!!! SCORE!!!

Really delicious food! Ordered the tostones, chicken flautas, chicken chimichanga, and pork tacos. reasonably priced and amazing flavor. definitely would recommend to anyone looking for some good mexican food locally

Found this place driving back from the beach and it did not disappoint! Amazing food and service. Everything was cooked to perfection and the staff was very friendly.

I've been out in this area for about four years now and I've tried a lot of Spanish & Mexican places. This is hands-down, my favorite so far. All the ingredients tasted super fresh and the steak This is hands-down, my favorite so far. The Steak Azteca Salad was excellent. I would've been in a photo, but I devoured it in about five minutes. Will definitely be ordering from this place again.

Had tacos and they were delicious! The guac was amazing as well. Aldo is so so friendly and welcoming. Definitely recommend coming!! A true hole in the wall :)

I wanted something that I had ordered in other restaurants but did not know the name. Aldo had me explain and told me what it was . Turns out , it was even better than I had at other Mexican restaurants!!! Absolutely the best Mexican food around!!!!!!!!

Being from the West Coast, I’ve been looking for authentic Mexican food. Read great reviews about this place so we gave it a go. They have an adorable outdoor seating area in back which is where we ate. I ordered the Carne Asada and my husband had the combo Fajitas. I asked for a side of grilled jalapeños because I am crazy and I love my food extra hot. They made me some kind of onion jalapeño mix which was hot as hell and so delicious!! My Carne Asada was served on a sizzling plate like fajitas and my steak was sooo tender not to mention a very generous portion. My husband throughly enjoyed his fajitas. Our waiter Andrew was very friendly and very attentive. I believe Aldo is a manager or maybe owner was very sweet and kept checking on us. He found out we got married the day before and surprised us with Sopapillas!! Excellent food and service!! We will definitely be back when we’re back in town!!

Visited for the first time today! I got my first ever chicken chimichanga and it was amazing. Small place, BYOB and just absolutely charming. Great staff, great food. We'll be back!

My boyfriend and I found this restaurant after not having luck finding food that looked good as well as affordable at the boardwalk. I can not say enough good things about this place!! Aldo made the whole experience here amazing with his fantastic service! Not to even mention how absolutely delicious the food is!! As a vegetarian it is hard to find good food while dining out but this restaurant had a vast variety of vegetarian options. We had to order seconds because it was so delicious!! The portions are the perfect size and the prices are affordable! Everything here was absolutely wonderful and I 100% recommend stopping here for some food!!

Have been here a couple of times but haven't even been close to disappointed. The staff is incredibly helpful and welcoming. All of the good is delicious and the horchata is on point. Look forward to going back.

Excellent little spot! Owner was so welcoming, enthusiastic and very proud of his food. I had shrimp 🌮 and my husband had an amazing beef. Our son brought home a shredded pork platter. Haven’t had Mexican this good in a while!
