I have to give a perfect ten score to this yard.
My family and I felt safe, comfortable and trusted this place with our prized possession.
First off, they have extreme care for great customer service, Top Notch Service, from the ultra friendly lady at the desk, management staff happy to assist with questions, to the clean and well stocked restrooms, to the hard working laborers in the yard. Everyone was polite and respectful.
In the yard, I watched employees work and I watched management stay on top of things. Like a well oiled machine, they get it done!
The list of what they can get accomplished goes far beyond the average yard. Besides excellent, hard working and knowledgeable employees, they have a powerful list of professional and respected capable contractors and subcontractors within their network.
If you want to trust your prized possession to get serviced correctly, no doubt, this us the right yard to get it done.

We have had work done at Hinckley in Savannah twice. The first time we had a problem with our saildrive and had to be towed in and they were great about making room for us and fitting in the work. While we were there for those repairs we needed to go back to home to get a medical procedure done so we decided to leave the boat with them and do some planned upgrades too. They upgraded us to lithium batteries, upgraded our solar, added an inverter, bms and radar. The work was great.

The second time we were looking for a place to haul out for a month or two so we could visit family over the holidays. While we were out they took care of a bunch of little things that needed to be handled. Again they came through and did fantastic.

Everyone there was great especially James, Bob, and Michel. What ever we needed they took care of us! We would definitely use them again

Five Stars for Hinckley Savannah is an easy choice. Dustin and each member of his superb crew have provided me with professional support for the maintenance and upgrades I sought.
The advice from each craftsman was sound and often included cost saving choices. Lynn maintained a friendly and efficient office while my project manager, James kept things moving and even shared his expert maneuvering tips with me for managing the local currents in close quarters.
The docks are new with solid cleats. Haulouts are professional and drama free. Everyone is friendly and the location, near downtown Savannah is unbeatable.

We are so impressed with the high quality of care given to our boat during the two months she was there. The technicians are all top notch, from the electricians to the mechanics to the painters. James provided outstanding concierge service, keeping us updated on progress and making sure all the jobs needed were coordinated and well planned. We stayed in touch throughout the process so there were no surprises. All the work was completed to a high professional standard. Over the many decades of owning boats, Hinckley is the best we have ever experienced. We would not hesitate to take our boat back whenever the need arises.

I had an outstanding experience with Hickley Yacht Services. The team provided excellent services across the board. The facilities were impeccably clean, and the loaner cars were a convenient addition. What impressed me the most was their attention to detail, which was truly the best I've seen on our Great American Loop adventure.

Moreover, I appreciate the team's commitment to maintaining a tight schedule. They went above and beyond to ensure that our boat was repaired promptly, allowing us to reunite with our children one who was flying in from Europe. Throughout the process, the team provided personal attention, understanding, and a dedication to excellence.

I want to express my gratitude to Dustin, Ian, Paul, James, Colin, and the prop-speed painter. Each of them contributed significantly to our positive experience. I apologize if I missed anyone's name, but every team member was outstanding both personally and professionally. Wonderful small marina with fantastic staff! Really kind, professional, trustworthy, and knowledgeable crew helped us with electronic, refrigeration and engine issues. We can’t say enough good things about the place!

I went there to deliver some 30-yard trash containers for a project that they were doing .very nice people, everybody was so friendly, I felt right at home

We had been at anchor for 2 weeks. The admiral didn't like the possibility of 60mph gusts. We called a couple times talked to Dustin and they made room for us.
Colin helped get us in. Elizabeth was fantastic she got us the help with the 3rd party app that does reservation. She showed us around and told us the loner car was in the shop. Bummer!
I checked out the parts department and found it very well stocked and the very friendly woman who ran it.

Is absolutely positively is the best. He checked up on us and was very professional and very polite. The day we left we needed an extra hand to get out. He walked us through getting off the dock "current and wind trying to keep us there". The admiral was relived to hear the same things I told her. She backed us out and looked like she had done it for years.

We had several small projects completed during our stay in Dec/Jan 2022. All of the staff and trades folks were very professional. Due to the holidays, difficulty getting some parts and shipping issues - a common theme these days - we stayed a bit longer that we hoped but found everyone very accommodating and we enjoyed exploring Savannah. As other folks have noted, the amenities were great for a working yard too. Highly recommend!

So far so good. Staying at the marina while awaiting haulout. Docks are great. Staff is friendly and dog friendly. Can't beat the amenities: nice, free showers; free washer and dryer; loaner car available for 2 hour periods so easy to get someone to the airport, which is about 35 minutes away. City park adjacent and nice neighborhood to walk the dog 🐕.

The staff was more than gracious and hospitable, they were warmly attentive. We were only there for a survey short-haul and transient dockage for a night or two, but they treated us like honored guests and handled maneuvering the boat into the sling expertly. Also, the equipment, restrooms, office, and docks were all clean and in very good repair. They will be my go-to yard for future surveys in the area, without a doubt.

Great boat yard. I've always had good experiences here. We store our boat on the hard for hurricane season/winter, they do a fine job taking care of everything. Before hurricane Matthew, they worked around the clock for almost 3 days prepping all the boats and hauling out every boat they could to lock them down. And then after their docks were destroyed by the hurricane, they rebuilt them in less than a week! Pretty amazing crew down there.

These guys are great. Had my boat in and out in about a week to fix an overheating problem. I had brought my boat to another mechanic initially who charged me $2,000.00 and did not stop the overheating. After their second try at it, with no success, I took my boat to Hinckley where their Volvo certified mechanic found what the other place had done wrong and corrected it right away. The boat runs great and the price was very fair. This is the only place I will bring my boat now.

We developed a fuel leak on our way north to start the DownEast Loop. Contacted Dustin and Paul on Saturday to see if they would be able to assist us. They responded immediately, made room for us on their limited dock space (due to hurricane damage). Monday morning first thing Bob was on our boat searching for the leak. Found a small pin hole in a fuel line, by 5 pm we were repaired and ready to continue our trek. Outstanding customer service! I highly recommend this facility and the folks who work here!

Dustin Hartley, General Manager, Paul Hughes, Service Manager, Drew, our dock handler, and all the nice folks we met during our short stay were outstanding. The staff went out of their way to make sure all our needs were met. We were provided with a courtesy car to run our propane tanks to be refilled and to restock at the local Publix. Paul even helped my husband down with a dock cart filled with supplies down the ramp at low tide. I highly recommend Hinckley, Thunderbolt GA. These guys go above and beyond! Hinckley will definitely be one of our transit stops whenever traversing north and south. Thank you guys! Keep up the good work! See you in the Fall!

We shipped our 40 year old Hinckley Bermuda 40 Yawl to the Savannah Hinckley yard for a total restoration. Over a three year period the team replaced all systems and equipment, including the engine, electronics, water heater, masts and booms, as well as auxiliary pumps and motors, stripped and varnished all bright work and repainted the hull and deck. During our project we found the Hinckley team to be professional, knowledgeable, and highly skilled at their work. At the end of the project our Bermuda 40 looked like the day she did when delivered from the yard. I highly recommend this yard for your next boat repair, renovation, or service project.

Hinkley Yacht Services recently pulled our sailboat "Gussie", gave her a new bottom coat and got her re-launched right on schedule. Dustin Hartley (General Manager) coordinated the pull. Chris Ford managed the work and re-launch and both communicated constantly with pictures all along the way. We will continue to use Hinckley for years to come.

If you want quality service... from a new bottom, fresh paint, repair/ replace that clunky motor, modernize yer electronics or any job in-between these guys can handle it. Always Top Notch!

I had an issue had tow boat pull me here and the guys were more than helpful. Chris Ford even checked in a few hours into our trip. Highly recommend this service center.

Fabulous people who do fabulous work at very reasonable prices! Have had major work done here, plus several projects and routine maintenance, on our Grand Banks 46 -- all was done perfectly and on time.

Very busy the yard is full of boats. If you want your boat hauled for repairs plan 6 weeks ahead.
