This place is must visit for all tourist coming through the area. The business is super clean and the staff is amazing. Prices are very reasonable too when compared to other clubs. During the week the atmosphere is very friendly and laid back. On the weekends they know how to host a party for all ages. With a live DJ, a huge dance floor, several pool tables, and arcade room.... this place is a must see...... #TeamCina supports this local business.

I love going to Tugas more than hanging out with my frends, especially since I’m only 19, place is so swag for really. Just make sure to bring yur quarters if you’re a sigma like me for really!

overall always a great experience. each night they're open is a different experience geared towards different cowards- pool tournaments, bar environment, themed nights, & dance club. awesome place with a little something for everyone. security presence is great & staff is all really friendly who help personalize your experience. DJ Hawk always plays the best jams from line dancing, early 2000s, hispanic, pop, & top 100. vibes are always good & it's nice to regularly see the owners checking in on things! 10/10 recommend- check out their facebook to stay up to date on events & see a more detailed look at what to expect (they usually post weekly)

This is one of the best beach bars in the area, the drinks are fairly priced and the security and bartenders and extremely nice!! When there’s a problem, they are quick to defuse. I’ve never felt safer at any bar, the employees are like family to me.

Visited during the off season (this past week in early may) and had a really chill time at the bar. The owner made us drinks which were really good. I don’t think that’s the usual vibe (we were some of the only people in there on a Monday night 😅) but it was great lol

This is the most rockin place to go in Surf City. Fun events, big dance floor, and everyone is usually there. Only downside is parking.

We visited from Raleigh for St. Paddy's Day weekend. We had a ton of fun here dancing and playing pool. The bartenders were quick and helpful, with cheap drinks ($3 Yuenglings), and fun but respectful patrons.

They helped with a car show of a friend, appreciate letting that happen! Great little hidden place on the island, would recommend.

Love this place! Great pool tables, and a lot of them! Have not been on for the dj but hear he's good. Bryce and Angela have a great place here. Will always be my go to to go out!

Wonderful bar. Friendly bar tenders who really know their stuff. The owner, Bryce, is one of the nicest people I’ve ever met. Even on their busiest nights there is quick and excellent service. My girlfriend and I aren’t really “bar people” but we’ve been back to Tortuga’s every night since we’ve been in Surf City. Wish there were more places like this around.

WOW!! What a great place for ALL ages!! The Arcade has so much to do for everyone, pool tables, air hockey, pinball, skeeball & the retro fun! Bring the whole family kinda place. Music and Tiki bar for the adults, let the kids play for hours! We had our 17 year old sons birthday gathering here, none of us wanted to leave. Thank you for a great time. We will be back!

Busy, thought the wait would be long, took a chance, waited 10 minutes. Excellent host, quick service, amazing breakfast, tried the new blueberry with strawberry & bananas.. Highly recommend.

I have literally never been upstairs, but I really appreciate how well upkept their arcade is downstairs, on the right week when everything (or even most things) work, it's better than the shitsh** at patio playground.

Love love love Tortugas!! Angela and Bryce are the cutest and most accommodating couple/owners!! We hosted a welcome reception for all of our guests for our wedding the night before the wedding at Tortugas instead of the traditional rehearsal dinner. They went above and beyond with making the space so BEAUTIFUL!! All of our guests had so much fun and absolutely loved Tortugas. We had about 80 people attend and it didn't feel cramp at all, very large space. Angela/Bryce were on top of every detail and we can't thank them enough!! Thank you for making the evening so wonderful for us and our guests! I'm still amazed with all the decorating and everyone enjoyed the photo booth! We'll definitely be back for casual nights out, your next event like New Years Eve, and for any future parties!
