Looking Glass Cafe

Not only was the staff super friendly and engaging, but the atmosphere was also perfect for studying/reading. The music isn't too loud, the lights are semi-dimmed, the coffee is delicious and student don't rule the whole roost. To top it off, there is abundant outdoor seating in their garden.

Good coffee, beer specials, outdoor seating, live music, tea selection, cafe foods, and everything else you want in a coffee spot.

Love the atmosphere here. Very unique and wide open. Mallory was amazing. I loved her personality and how warm she was to my mother and me. She was even willing to take a picture of us outside of the cafe for our mommy-n-me coffee date tradition.

Super cute coffee shop with a lot of charm. There is both indoor and outdoor seating available. Indoor has more of a study vibe with couches, music and high top tables. Whereas outside has more of an earthy feel with the picnic benches between the trees. The coffee is fantastic - I definitely plan to go back!

Very chill environment. There was a very comfortable couch I just sat and read my book for an hour reading my book and sipping my coffee. It was very busy, but not too loud because everyone was doing homework or on their computers. It might be my new chill out spot on my days off. I really liked the ambient sound of music in the background while I read. I definitely recommend it for anyone who just wants to chill.

The staff is always cool and there's plenty of seating. Plus they have high tops that you can use as standing desks, which is cool. I prefer the noisier area but there's a big quieter area too. And they serve paninis!

Great coffee and environment. Nice people and a good place to hang out and work. Tried a scone and some other treats there and they was fine, maybe wish they had more food choices. Saw what I thought was a panini press but didn't see anything like that on the menu. Also have a selection of beers and other beverages.

Great coffee and a nice spot to get a little work done. Mainly graduate/professional students and Carrboro locals which is nice. It is a little farther from UNC so there are not as many undergraduates which is nice. Lovely artwork and also offer some products from local vendors such as the honeysuckle tea house

Attentive to detail and will answer as many questions as you throw at them, and take requests for changes readily. Was I being picky and annoying? Probably. Were they happy to oblige? Bet.

Good coffee and plenty of space. We tried going to a different place before hand that was too crowded with your average coffee consumers leeching free internet. Looking glass on the other hand had more than enough room for us to stretch out and relax. If you need a pick me up, look no further.

Wonderful place! 5 stars! Never been there but it must be great cause it snagged me on my phone and insisted I rate it. I Ioved it cause it's down the street from the world's greatest plumber and Bob told me it was his second choice when he couldn't make it to his cub scout meeting.

Looking glass is one of my favorite Carrboro/CH cafes. Great coffee, a variety of seating, and friendly baristas. They also host various live shows, game nights and more. Good place to study or relax with friends.

Hands down the most delicious coffee in Carrboro. This is the most comfortable place in the area to grab a coffee, finish up some light studying, or meet with a friend at any time of day. The outside patio is lovely under the strung lights and there is occasionally live music in the evenings. The baristas are also incredibly friendly - definitely my favorite place to go in Carrboro.

Panini's are pretty good to if you're hungry. Beer and Boylan sodas in the fridge. Some wines too!

Staff is always welcoming and friendly. After coming in to study regularly, most of them know exactly what I want and start it before I order.

Also, LOADS of seating and outlets. Just don't be that person who comes to study and doesn't buy anything.

Best cafe in Carrboro! Lots of seating, live music on Tuesday nights, drinks are great, including their teas (try the hibiscus zest!), and they have food, but I can't comment much on the food.

Really amazing coffee here. I'd call it expensive but it is about Starbux prices for higher quality. Tons of open space to chill and Wi-Fi available. They always list the source of their fresh grind and they make excellent choices.

Looking Glass is comfortable, inviting. Great baristas, coffee, specialty foods/snacks, and more. There is space for the mood you are in -- outdoor, indoor, conversation, group work, being alone, game room. The clientele is diverse. I'm older and uncool but still feel welcomed.

Funky and trippy local cafe with the kind of crunchy granola style offerings you might expect. Some decent art on the walls. Quiet but friendly vibe.

Cute little trendy coffee shop. They provide acceptable high end coffee and a nice atmosphere to relax in. Great place for informal meetings.
