Great place! Grabbed lunch here and was very impressed. The service was very prompt and efficient, even during prime lunch hours on a Saturday, and their variety was fantastic. Their baked good looks absolutely delicious, though I didn’t get to try. The panini was fantastic —turkey bacon. It was cooked to perfection. The teller wasn’t all that pleasant or polite, though that said, I saw him being unreasonably berated after by who I assume was a manager or peer. Either way, good was delicious, tons of seating both inside and out, and great parking out front.

Looking forward to returning and trying their menu foods! Stopped in for a cupcake & recommend! Very nice employees!

I've been going here for years since I got to college. Every time the food is great and the people are really nice. I love the tuna salad, loaded potato soup and their cupcakes are amazing! It's a good place to go for brunch when my parents come visit but there's also some plugs dotted around the place and I've spent many evenings there studying or finish up homework. Overall, a fantastic place to eat and I will continue to recommend it to people!

I miss this restaurant now that I work in Greensboro. I love the salads and soups here. They make a pretty mean quiche too. Chicken fiesta salad is my fave. Love the loaded potato soup. Try the sweet potato biscuit instead of the bread on the side - so yummy. Stay away from the cookies and cupcakes- they're addicting!

The salads were an excellent meal option. Definitely recommend the Fiesta Chicken! (Although I'm not 100% sure the chocolate chip cookie was worth 380 calories, but it looked so good :)
The space itself is laid out well with indoor / outdoor seating and solid wifi throughout.

I really like this restaurant. They have great sandwiches, soups and salads. I think the paninis are great. My favorite is the chicken portabella melt panini. Their bakery section is real nice too. I still haven’t gotten there early enough in the morning to get the blueberry muffin though. It’s worth it to be part of the rewards program if you go there frequently.

I have been to the Carolina Bakery and Cafe many times in Cameron Village and I must say that I like the one in Meadowmont even better. It is a great place to get a sandwich and do some work during the evening hours. I have also noticed there are quite a few people at this location in the early morning hours.

Note that the sandwich is going to be between $8 and $10 so if you are looking for a cheap cafe sandwich you might want to try somewhere else. The inside is almost brand new so the appeal is great for me.

Great food, never much of a wait even when busy. Love the bakery discount with the purchase of a meal. This is my go to lunch spot, consistently good food and service. Good for small groups, families, or businesses meeting.

An awesome place to go for casual breakfast! Offers all varieties of food, such as pastries, waffles, salads, etc. I personally love their strawberry waffle! Definitely check this place out, very friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere.

Tasty croissant sandwiches and salads; bottomless ice tea (unsweetened available) and soft drinks. Good coffee, though their lightest roast is only medium light. Cheerful, bright, clean seating, booths and tables.

Ok its a little pricey ,but we'll worth it very good sandwiches ,deserts perfect coffee and their plain crescent rolls above average. Coffee a crescent and sitting out side on a sunny day creates good memories.

I like this place a lot, it's a nice environment with good coffee and sandwiches. Also has some bakery items as well. Good place for small groups and not too loud if you wanted to have a lunch meeting.

Fun spot for brunch. Good healthy options, quick service from a pick up window. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Park around back and walk through the breezeway to make parking easier.

The Cafe Carolina is my favorite spot in Meadowmont. The coffee is always amazing, the staff are beyond friendly, and the sweet potato biscuits are to die for. Better than Starbucks or any other close or nearby chain, by far.

This is my Chapel Hill coffee hangout. The coffee is great and there is plenty of room for small groups and one-on-one conversations. The folks behind the counter seem like they genuinely enjoy helping people!

After two days without eating, I left the Meadowmont medical facility with a strong desire to eat a horse. It is not fair to say that Cafe Carolina & Bakery is a panini joint, but I had a Chicken panini with cranberries to die for. Add a bowl of cream of broccoli soup and I have a new home. Met a wonderful young lady named Stacy who has over twenty years invested in the place, and a business philosophy that obviously works. You can see it in the faces of those who work for her. Smiles and pride. The V bus in Chapel Hill will put you right around the corner from the Cafe. Do yourself a favor and take some friends with you. I guarantee you will love this place. The Cafe Carolina in Meadowmont is another of my favorite places to meet clients. I almost always get the chicken salad. The wifi is good , it’s very quick (food and wifi) and I can usually get a table with some privacy.
