Black Cherry Design

I was introduced to BCD as part of the design process for a new construction project in Lawrenceville. When my husband and I moved out of the city I knew right away I wanted to work with Lauren again! Lauren’s eye for making everything in a room coordinate and flow is fantastic. Lauren listens to your wants and makes designing such a stress free and easy process! Can’t say enough about Black Cherry Design!

We have unfortunately have had a very bad experience with Lauren/Black Cherry. We hired her for a kitchen remodel and some other additional elements (whole home flooring, powder room). I initially posted a much longer and more detailed negative review, but the short of it is that there were a shocking number of careless mistakes made with measurements and ordering throughout the project, and constant delays because materials were not ordered when they said they would be. We have felt lied to and jerked around, and at the time I’m posting this we are still trying to get $1200 back for materials that she allegedly ordered more than a month ago that just never arrive. Very poor working capital management . The end result of our kitchen is more or less what we wanted, but the process just completely broke down.
