Alton Fire Department

It’s been a while since I had been wanting to take my kid to the Fire Department, he enjoys hearing the sirens and watching the fire trucks as they drive by. I really want to thank the firefighters that were on duty this morning (9/8/2021), they were extremely nice and polite. Good-luck, take care out there and keep doing good for this city. May God bless everyone.

My wife took her Daisy troop for a presentation held by the firefighters. Each and every one of them was very professional, nice, polite and great with small children. We were given a tour of the firehouse, taught fire safety and prevention and even demonstrated all their equipment in and including their fire trucks and how quickly they suit up. As a result, now all the troop wants to be firefighters!

My hats off to our wonderful Alton Fire Dept. Last week I called them because someone on one street behind us was burning trash and since it was windy got out hand.They responded within 10 minutes . When our central Aircon caught fire last year they arrived fast as well . They didn’t leave our home until they made sure everything was safe. They don’t get recognized enough for their hard work . Thank you so much to our ALTON FIRE DEPT .
