Called yesterday 8/22 to request a prescription transfer from the meijer on s s center rd gave all the proper information for my one year olds prescription. Just for me to call meijer and them tell me Walgreens never sent over the transfer . And when I called today the lady I spoke with was very inconsiderate and let me know that whatever happened yesterday was due to them being slammed and they must of just forgot . Being short staffed is not an excuse to forget a one year old child’s prescription. VERY unprofessional and I’m told to just have patience when I have a one year old child in pain , and I should of been able to pick up his prescription first thing and now I have to wait again. Please get some training on pharmacy staff with urgency and when a patient is told something will be done it should be done!
I understand everywhere is short staffed but it’s no excuse .
