Want to up your bass fishing skills? Chris Blanchette did a great job of putting us on the fish, educating us about techniques and electronics, and helping us get largemouth into the livewell. He began by taking us to some productive spots, demonstrating strategies for different baits, and giving us some experience landing bass. By the end of the half-day, he had us hooking up on our own, and he taught us about finding fish in the lake, viewing the dynamics on-screen to improve our technique, and landing the fish. He was very accommodating for our meet-up location and drop-off, took pics of our catch, texted info on our most successful baits, and asked great questions to delve into our usual fishing patterns so that he could provide tips. He was punctual, affable, and a great conversationalist throughout. We plan to book again, and we would highly recommend! UPDATE: Another great trip with Coast to Cove! Chris teaches us tons of new things each time. Wonderful experience!

Where do I even start first off Chris is a stand up guy I felt like I had known him for years. I feel like catching fish was just a plus. He shared a ton of information with us to help us during the rest of our stay. And I will just let the pictures tell the rest of the story. I would definitely recommend Chris if you are looking for someone to guide your next trip who is friendly, professional, and a great guy.

Do not hesitate to book Chris for a trip. I have had bass guides in Alabama and Texas numerous times and Chris beats them all. He’s a great guy and like others said, I feel like he is a true friend now. You just don’t get that service with other guides. You will not find a more knowledgeable guide on Lake Murray. Chris really wants you to catch bass and is patient in showing you the best tactics to use to catch fish. I have had heartburn paying other guides at the end of the trip but not with Chris. I can’t say enough good things about this gentleman, I look forward to our next trip!

Chris is a great bass fisherman and a great teacher! He gave my sone Luke great pointers to improve his bass fishing game. We had a 20lb plus bag on Lake Murray today! Looking forward to going back out with Chris soon!!!

Had a great time caught fish on our first stop Fishing was slow but I still had a great time Learned more about drop shot and about live scope Chris is very knowledgeable about what is going on with the fish. I highly recommend him

My dad and I had a great time. Chris has everything you need and will out you on fish. We fished Lake Murray, SC targeting Large mouth Bass, and we had plenty of them. We can't wait to go again.

Had a great time going with Chris to learn some finer points of cold water bass fishing on lake Murray. You can tell immediately that he is an expert at what he is doing. Extremely knowledgeable on multiple bodies of water in the state for beginner, advanced and tournament bass angler. If you need help with gear, tackle or electronic advice he can do that too. I’ll definitely book with him again. Great guy, felt as if I was fishing with a good friend at the end of the day.

I went out with Chris in late January to learn more about Lake Murray and also to learn how to better use forward facing sonar. To say it was a great day of learning both would be an understatement. Chris was knowledgeable and friendly from start to finish! I even caught my PB bass weighing 6lbs-12 oz on the trip!

Next trip I think I'm going to the coast with him! You should too!

Chris is an excellent captain with an exceptional wealth of knowledge in all things fishing. I recently took a trip with him on the cooper river and it was a great experience. Between the different styles of rods and baits he kept us on fish all day long. Will be going again for sure!

Outstanding guide. Very knowledgeable and willing to teach. I needed a trip to learn how to better utilize my electronics when looking for bass. We covered that topic and managed to put fish in the boat. I will be fishing with Chris again in two weeks. Great day on the water regardless of how many casts I ricochet off the dock :).

Awesome experience. Chris taught me a lot about bass fishing in tough conditions and we caught several fish in the process.

Super trip. 34 lbs of bass over an 8 hour day, biggest at 5 lbs. Nice boat and excellent rods and reels (Lews). Great communicator and teacher. Patient with questions and backlashes. I highly recommend Chris for your trip.

It was a really fun day. He was consistently putting us on tuna and mackerel all day long. Well worth it, can’t wait to go again.
