Idyllwild Vacation Cabins

We stayed in the Bird Song cabin and it was lovely. Check-in and check-out were easy and seamless, posted instructions were clear and helpful, the temperature controls for rooms and shower were great, and the spa was an easy and pleasant way to wind down a day of exploring. We would definitely stay here again!

We really enjoyed staying the month in Marian View Cabin. The cabin was lovely and very comfortable with everything we could possibly need. The view of the mountain from the back deck was stunning. I always started my morning and ended my evening soaking in the mountain view. Would definitely stay here again.

The cabin was very nice! Clean and well appointed. Had everything we needed plus more. Very nice big deck on the back also.
Only issue we had was the location. Not a bad location but a little farther from town than we had hoped. Walking to town with little kids was too hard! Overall a very good stay!

This cabin was perfect and pictures don’t do it justice! It is decorated so tastefully and was very very clean. The check-in was super easy and there were easy instructions for everything inside! We loved it so much…..can’t wait to come again!

This was the perfect place for a small getaway from the city. The place is quaint and the setting is picturesque. Absolutely loved sitting on the deck or in the hot tub and listening to the sounds of the birds. The cabin itself is lovely and spacious and the vintage decor is pretty cool. I feel fully rejuvenated after having a stay here. Would come back again.

What a great experience! The Serenity Lodge was absolutely wonderful! We loved the layout of the place and it was perfect to have two separate cabins for two small families. The cabins were well stocked with all supplies you can think of. We were super impressed with the spices on the kitchen counter…. there were even more spices than I own at home! We definitely overpacked because this is the most well stocked place I have ever stayed at. Thank you Idyllwild Vacation Cabins for making our stay easy and comfortable! Will definitely utilize your cabins in the future!

The experience is Amazing and the cabins spacious. My family comes every year and we have booked the Excell in the past and we are never disappointed. The cabin is big and has an Amazing game room you’ll have fun with the whole family. It’s dog friendly and the spa is just wonderful to end the day.

My wife and I loved the Birdsong Cabin. It had everything we needed and was very clean. The hot tub was a great addition as well. We would definitely stay here again and look at some of the bigger cabins if we have a larger party.

Our stay was everything we hoped it would be. Reservation of the cabin was simple, and leading up to our trip I received email and texts with information regarding the checkin times and procedures. The cabin was cozy, and just a mile walk away from downtown Idyllwild. The surrounding area is beautiful, the shops in town are unique and fun to explore. We did have a couple of questions and we were able to reach the office and receive assistance in a very timely manner. Really an incredible weekend away, we would highly recommend it to our friends and anyone else!

Fifth time in renting this lovely Excel Escape property with my family and it never disappoints. Well equipped to meet all your needs. Fabulous games room with pool table shuffle board, foosball and many more games to keep you entertained.

The Whispering Tree Top rental is a small rustic cabin that is great if you are looking for a quiet getaway and are not looking for all the luxuries that other cabins might have to offer. I would say that it is not for everyone as it has a very steep driveway and steep stairs to climb.

Pros:
1. Idyllwild Vacation Cabins was very responsive and answered all questions. I initially paid for a dog but didn’t bring him and was given an immediate refund for that cost!
2. Location is very quiet and secluded. It has great views and lots of wildlife. There are many birds like Steller’s Jays looking for a handout every morning.
3. The amenities are great, especially the jacuzzi which was ready to go when we arrived. There is also a barbecue and a fire table which we didn’t use.

Cons:
1. The driveway is very steep and tricky to climb/descend. Seems like it might require an AWD (which I have) or 4 x 4 vehicle. I was informed about this but I think the description of the property should emphasize the steepness.
2. The entrance door is not easily locked/unlocked. The key is flimsy and I had to pull forward on the door handle to lock/unlock the door. It took a little time to figure this out when we first arrived.
3. There were some dirty clothes left in the dresser drawers from a previous tenant.

This is our first time coming to Idyllwild. We had a good time staying at Honeymoon Hideout. We really enjoy the quietness and nature. We enjoy being able to relax. We will come back again to Idyllwild.

This cabin was cozy and clean with a nice size master bedroom. The main attraction for us was the large deck with a view of trees and mountains. It was just what we wanted! Very quiet and peaceful. We’ve rented from Martha many times and we’ve always had a good experience.

This is our second stay using Idyllwild Vacation Cabins and we wouldn't go with anyone else.

They are super responsive and helpful with your stay. We had an issue with the WiFi (namely it wasn't working). They tried everything to get it back online. Unfortunately the service is just a a bit spotty up here...but I commend their repeated efforts!

We stayed at the Cougar Lodge, hosted by Idyllwild Vacation Cabins. The cabin was well-stocked, clean, and accurately described in the listing. Martha was very communicative and helpful in her instructions. We will definitely be looking to stay there again in the future!

We loved the privacy of this beautiful well stocked Cabin amongst the pines, manzanitas and cedars and hope to come back!
Our dogs did super on the deck and fenced yard. They enjoyed squirrel watching. Highly recommend

We had a very relaxing and wonderful stay! The table on the porch was perfect to have breakfast on and watch the squirrels and birds climb on the beautiful trees. The place is so perfectly decorated for a little getaway. We loved everything

My girlfriend and I had a relaxing and very enjoyable stay at Birdsong cabin. Martha was very accommodating and the vacation was stress free. Would highly recommend.
