Great ice cream at a good price. The scoops are generous for sure. I got the fresh mint which turned out to be spearmint flavored. That was a bit of a shock but still tasty. The chocolate chip cookie dough is one of the bests I’ve ever had.

This place offers the finest selection of ice cream with an array of mouthwatering flavors! The staff is not only friendly but also maintains a spotless environment. After a refreshing bike ride along the WO&D trail, indulging in their ice cream was the perfect treat we needed.

Service was great. The young ladies were patience and friendly. The ice cream was good. The shop was very clean. I love the location. There are tables outside where you can sit, enjoy your ice cream, and enjoy the view of the mountains. Their counter is high, and you can't see the ice cream. Not a typical ice cream shop where there is a display for me to look and choose. I got the mint chip. I like that they didn't add green coloring to make the ice cream look minty. The mint flavor is nature. Tasted it they used mint leaves for flavoring. The strawberry ice cream was good too. The strawberries were cut in tiny cubes and they were frozen and too cold for me. There were also some chocolate coating this transparent slightly chewy pieces in the ice cream. I think it's from the strawberry ice cream. Not sure what they were but they were good. I really enjoy that. The portion was generous. I will definitely stop by again if I'm in the area again.

Delicious butter brickle ice cream. It was very fresh and creamy, and had a lovely texture. The brickle was perfectly crunchy. The prices were reasonable and service was really good. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating !

We walked in and said we had not been here before and we didn't know what we were doing. Staff was sooo helpful and steered us to two great flavors, cherry cobbler and butter brickle. They ice cream was delicious and the toppings complimented them very well. Added bonus, check out the spoons they provide.

Really good ice cream! I had coffee & Blackberry flavors and looking forward to trying their chocolate and vanilla options in the future.

So good! I got a scoop of Twix ice cream in a cake cone and my boyfriend got a scoop cookies and cream in a cup. The scoops were big so one was plenty for us! After we got the ice cream we sat outside on the patio and enjoyed a beautiful sunset.

I came in today specifically to try the eggnog and peppermint mocha. They both exceeded my expectations. Perfectly flavored and not overly sweet. My favorite was the peppermint mocha. I haven’t tried anything like it before and it was divine. The eggnog tasted exactly how you would expect, creamy, sweet and delicious. In our party we also tried the blackberry and cookie dough. Everyone agreed they were ALMOST as good as the eggnog.

Nice little creamery with delicious home made ice cream and milk shakes. I tried the coffee, chocolate and butter brickle and they were all very good. The lady working there was very nice and patient as the place got busy.

Great variety of flavors and delicious ice cream and milkshakes. A gem in the area for sure. The best part is that it’s right next to (and owned by the same people as) a delicious barbecue place called Monk’s.

Delicious and fresh ice cream! Had the coffee (highly recommend) and toffee flavors, both were excellent -- Will be our go-to spot!

Really some of the best ice cream I've had in a while and I really appreciate that they have indoor seating. Will def come back when in town

Almost every locale in Purcellville is a small town business. Tipped Cow Creamery makes strong case why small town businesses are just better than well-known ice cream parlors.

Tipped Cow is the only place I can get some of my favorite flavors like sweet cream and chai tea ice cream. Super thick, full-bodied, and extra creamy. Can you blame me for rating Tipped Cow so high? Eating ice cream at Brusters, Ben & Jerry, Ritas, Cold Stone, or Dairy Queen are just fleeting moments of joy and if I can choose between them all, I would choose local hand made Tipped Cow any time.

This is an extension of Monk’s and owned by the same family. With that said, you know since it’s the same owners, it’s going to be awesome quality and they’re going to do it right.

We love going to Tipped Cow, they have a rotating menu of ice cream, so it’s exciting to try the new flavors that they have from time to time. We also love the location, it’s a nice reward for when we walk to the end of the W&OD trail or ride our bikes down. I also love that if you pick a flavor that you might not fit your taste buds, that they give you another one free of charge.

The staff are always great and helpful in there as well, and the smell just hits like
Home when you walk in there.

If you have flavor suggestions too, they’ll listen. I’ve seen them implement flavors recommended by locals here. In my opinion, it’s the best Ice cream shop in town and they do custom cakes as well.

We love Tipped Cow! It's definitely a thicker style of ice cream, and the flavors I've had are all rich in flavor. I struggle to finish a scoop most days as they're definitely generous when serving and the style is thick.
Love the waffle cones and all the variety in toppings.

They have special flavors that don't stick around long, the favorite has been a blueberry muffin and we SO wish could get more 💙
If you're looking for something not too powerful in the flavor dept; id say choose sweet cream or chocolate chip cookie dough.

The somoas ice cream this week was fantastic too!!

Walked in and was welcomed by the smell of waffles being made. There was just the right amount of flavors to choose from. Delicious icecream- we had the sweet cream with butter toffee ( I forget the name) and the strawberry cheesecake. The servings are generous and the price is very reasonable. Not to mention, the quick service.
