Wow! Allen did a fantastic job on my screened in porch. He replaced the old gross outdoor carpet with lovely porcelain tile, an outdoor fan and it is just wonderful. Allen went above and beyond and has superior skills. Plus, Tabitha in the office is great!

We have worked with Allen and Tabitha for any of our home repair needs for over 10 years. We have always been pleased with the result. Recently we had a burst pipe and needed our master bathroom to be completely re-done and some additional work done in the master bedroom and powder room. Allen and Tabitha quickly fit us into their schedule and managed to ensure we had all of the repairs done in time for our hosting some wedding events for our daughter. Allen was meticulous in his work; re-building the floor, replacing the tile, installing the cabinets and new dry wall for the soaking tub. They work as a team with Tabitha connecting with the plumbers, the granite removal team and finding on short notice a quartz vendor to sell and install our new counter. We are so pleased with the results. Allen always works to make sure your living space is kept clean as the work progresses and he is patient with any challenges along the way. We are so thankful to have Allen and Tabitha to call upon when we need some help!

Six A's is a family run business-- Allen is the on site handyman, and Tabatha is the office manager. I can't say enough good things about both of them! Allen is an incredibly hard worker... he shows up on time, ready to attack a project, and is meticulous, professional, adaptable and helpful. He is always honest about what a job will entail, and is quick to give suggestions about how to make it easier or better for the homeowner. Tabatha is warm, responsive, and a wonderful "face" for the company-- she is always clear about timing and fees, open to questions, and is easy to schedule with. They treated our home as their own, both when it came to quality of work, and leaving it clean each day and in even better condition than when they arrived. Six A's takes customer service and satisfaction seriously! We love the work they've done for us (painting, drywall, tile installation) and they will be our first choice for any home projects going forward. Excellent experience; can't recommend enough!

I needed my backdoor replaced and my previous one had a wooden shutter attached that my dog had damaged years prior so I wasn't sure how that could be reattached to a new door. Allen suggested the kind of door with the blinds between the glass, which I hadn't even considered but went with on his recommendation. When the door came in, he picked it up from the store and installed it. The project was a little more involved than originally thought because of water damage to the frame but Allen went to the store that day to get the replacement wood. I really appreciated Allen's attention to detail, knowledge and professionalism. I absolutely love my new door. There was an issue with the final cost due to the third-party transaction company but Tabitha, the office manager, was very easy to work with on a resolution. I highly recommend Six A's. Very knowledgeable, professional and pricing very reasonable.

Allen and his wife are very courteous . Allen was very honest and explained the problems. Cost is reasonable. He does not exploit the customer. Great thing is that he did not change his price after finding out that he has to come back again later on to finish the job at no extra cost as quoted. Replaced toilet leak valve and garbage disposal. Good job.

Allen has come twice to my home. Once for several simple repairs (installing ceiling fan, installing new light fixture, hanging heavy wall art, door repair) and once to repair ceiling damage on our basement roof from a toilet leak on the level above. Work was done correctly and at a fair price. He’s definitely our go to when we need stuff done around here that I’m not capable of!

Six A's Handyman service was a LIFESAVER! I am in Illinois, and my mother was moving into a nursing home in Cary, NC and I had a bed delivered, but forgot to order the installation. I found them online and called Friday evening, and they had the bed installed by the next morning! They were SO nice and wonderful to deal with (and patient about by nervousness!). HIGHLY RECOMMEND to anyone wanting that extra bit of personal attention that is rare to see from a small business these days!

Alan and Tabitha made a good team. I solicited 3 bids for some wood rot and other work to be done on the exterior of my house. The bid came in the middle, so I went with it. He told me up front that he doesn't climb certain heights, so one part of the job wasn't done, but that's ok. On the day of the job, I met Alan at the local big box home improvement store so I saw exactly what was bought and I paid right there. This eliminated materials mark up and having to get more stuff.

Alan didn't mind me watching his work and took the time to answer my questions as he proceeded. While he was on my job, he devoted his attention to me.

Tabitha was receptive to my questions and made scheduling easy.
