Assisting Hands was quite helpful with the long-term care of my stepfather. We never had a gap in continuity and the individual caregivers respected our particular requirements and were professional. I was quite impressed how they managed to coordinate 24/7 coverage. There were almost no personality conflicts despite the number of caregivers. the management team was always immediately available and responsive, regardless of the hour.

Assisting Hands is unquestionably the best provider of private caregiving aides around. They were excellent in keeping me informed of who would be with my wife on each day, and more importantly, they were able to give me a rotation of aides that was consistent. My wife was a dementia patient and that consistency of aides, was very important. They were with us for five years, right up till the day that my wife passed away, and I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs such assistance.

Assisting Hands has been amazing in helping with my dad. They have been very flexible and patient with us regarding his changing needs and schedule. Our care manager Anna Tilquist is superb, she’s really gone above and beyond, even checking in with my dad in the hospital and assisted living. It’s obvious that she truly cares. I would highly recommend them to anyone who has a loved one with needs.

We needed to find home care for our Mom very quickly during her Cancer treatment. Her decline was unexpected and overwhelming. We were so lucky to find Tyler and his team at Assisting Hands! Assisting hands has been a wonderful group to work with . They were there for my Dad and most recently my Mom . Anna was the nurse that first saw my Mom and matched her with Delinda ( her care person). They were both exceptional , caring , and went beyond to see that the needs of my Mom were met . Anna kept in contact to check on my Mom and even her dog Poochie! They are wonderful and easily became part of our family . Thank you!

Assisting Hands was a game changer for my Mother, and for we siblings who helped support Mom, while living at home on her own. Mom had been living on her own for over 30 years and in the last several years she could no longer drive so she became dependent on her children for shopping, medical appointments, and any other activity that required driving. In the last 2 years we finally persuaded Mom to let us hire a caregiver to come to her home and help her with many daily activities. Assisting Hands found an Angel on Earth, Kim, who became such a valued and loved member of the team helping Mom! Kim took over almost all the support for Mom - taking her to medical appointments, picking up prescriptions, doing her grocery shopping, helping with housework, providing cheerful company, and many other things. Kim was invaluable and proved to be a great match for Mom. Kim allowed the elder children to have more free time and freedom for themselves while still helping Mom at home with house maintenance and projects. Kim was always very flexible and more than willing to help in any way. She even spent the night with Mom on several occasions. With Assisting Hands support and Kim’s help Mom was able to stay in her home and live independently while having a very good quality of Life. We all were blessed to have Kim’s help throughout the last 2 years, we couldn’t have done it without her and Assisting Hands. Trust them with your most valuable possession - your Family. We were, and will always remain, grateful.

Assisting Hands provided excellent care for my Dad while he spent the winter months in independent living near Palm Bay. The caregivers were attentive and responsive, and always went the extra mile to ensure great service. A special shout out to Mirza, for never missing a detail and ensuring Dad always had what he needed during his stay. Highly recommend her and this team!

I used Assisting Hands home care recently. They were wonderful! They helped me in the care of my husband who was very sick. Their compassionate care of him was really appreciated, and they were attentive to his needs. I appreciated the help they gave me by doing some wash, vacuuming, and fixing and cleaning up dishes for his lunch. Forever grateful.

5 stars aren't enough to express my opinion of Assisting Hands of Brevard County. Not only did they care for my mother consistently and lovingly for over 3 years, they also ran to her side in moments of crisis, and they were with her when she was hospitalized the last time. What a relief for me to know she was in very good hands as I travelled! I know Mom saw them as her dear friends.
More than the day-to-day tasks and scheduling, the team helped ME to manage my mother's care from a distance and close up! Manager, Kim, stopped in regularly to be sure Mom could convey her needs directly. I was able to be inconstant contact with the aides via phone and text. The office team and after-hours staff took my calls on many difficult nights and reassured me when I had no one else to call.
I cannot tell you how valuable it is to have Assisting Hands on your support team, I can only say Assisting Hands are the very few stable, consistent resources that cared for my Mom and my family in what sometimes felt like chaos. I will miss them!

I highly recommend Assisting Hands. The caregivers who helped my mom were wonderful. Some went above and beyond, which was much appreciated. They became friends and did their best to keep my mom happy- not just cared for. We had Assisting Hands helping us for several years. Without them, we would not have been able to care for my mom at home. They took excellent care of her and kept the family informed of any issues. They also gave tips to help us care for my mom. If there was ever an issue, the office staff and supervisor took care of it. The supervisors checked in regularly to make sure everything was going well.

Every caregiver we had was professional, compassionate, kind, respectful, and well qualified to give care at every stage of physical decline. Assisting Hands of Brevard in Rockledge, FL are wonderful to deal with. They assisted my aunt. They communicate well, assigned my aunt a wonderful aide named Esther. She was a perfect match to be my aunts companion during a difficult transition in my aunts life. Thank you to Esther for being there for her. She was a blessing & gave me piece of mind. Esther had such a kind & gentle way to calm her, to communicate with my aunt & help her. We also had a great experience with aide Brendalyn who also assisted my aunt at times on the weekend.
