Valvoline Instant Oil Change

They did a really good job. Friendly. Fair prices. Fast service. They helped me with my windshield wipers and air filters too.

This place is pretty great. This is the first automotive place where you're allowed to stay in the car when the services are happening. We came for an oil change, and they showed us every NEW ITEM that was being added. During the inspection, they showed us the air filter and how DIRTY it was. The transparency is WONDERFUL! Better than all the big companies like Toyota or Ford where they just tell you without evidence.

My wife and I went in for an oil change upon an inspection, the staff found a crack in my oil pan. They advised me to return it to the dealership to get it fixed . If they didn’t catch it I would have blown my Engine. Little side note my last oil change was with the dealership .They were the ones who caused the crack to begin with . A very big round of applause for Valvoline on centre st in Quincy Ma and all the staff that were on that day. Thank you very much Briana, Robert ,Chris, and Michael.

Sam and Dan changed my oil and couldn’t have been friendlier. Had a great conversation and got an oil change speedy. Definitely going to come back here.

Always had good experiences here, I did have an issue awhile back, nothing major but they were honest and rectified the situation on my next visit. I appreciate a business that is willing to take accountability, which is why I still go to this location for every oil change and for every car in my household. The price is not bad, and you can always get coupons and Groupon deals as well. The staff is always friendly and outgoing as well.

Great place they checked my AC and told me what I had to do to fix it and the staff are wonderful

Bobby was the employee that was talking to me while my car was getting worked on. He was such a pleasure to talk to! He explained everything, gave us a couple discounts which saved us over $20, and when I told him I needed the oil change because I’m driving across the country soon, he wished me good luck in California. All the employees were great, worked efficiently and my car was done in 15 minutes. Highly recommend!!

Josh and Marques were beyond helpful and kind when I needed a last minute oil change before a road trip to NY. Offered the wide variety of services and things I needed to keep up on. This was truly an exceptional customer service experience.

Been getting my oil changed for awhile now with them and couldn't be more happy the service i've gotten. they really do their best to get you in and out as quick as possible. Also they don't try and force any unneeded parts your car might not need unlike the dealerships and such. Highly recommend using them!

I had made an appointment at Firestone for an oil change and when I showed up they told me it would take 3-4 hours. Totally frustrated, I drove over to Valvoline. I never did a drive through oil change before and had no idea what to expect. They were awesome. Professional, friendly and quick! I got to sit in my car and was in and out within 1/2 hour (got some other services while I was there). If I paid a couple of extra dollars who cares my time was worth it! This is my new go to.

As with any other place, you'll get different experiences based on who you're dealing with, as well as your own subjective perspective. So keep that in mind with any review you read, including this one.

With that being said, the first time I rolled through to inquire about an oil change, I experienced two helpful attendees who were willing to give me their honest opinion on whether I needed an oil change, and being me, I asked both for their specific perspective. One seemed to be giving me the classic spiel "oh this oils real dirty, uh oh, {concerned face}" while the other was more soft spoken and earnest in telling me that, yes, while it's dirty, that isn't exactly an indicator of your oil needing changing, and instructed I wait until the specified time. I went with his diagnoses.

Mentioning this due to the fact I see management taking an active approach in reading reviews, but it's not in any way all telling: I noticed the two techs were very rough with both my car and others in terms of closing the hood. They slammed mine down to where I had to specifically state that it was a bit too rough. I realize the hinges are built for force, but it was still too forceful for me.

Anyhow, that slight concern aside...

On return, I experienced four different individuals, all equally upbeat and willing to discuss any questions I had concerning my vehicle. I drive a very specific, sporty car, so I'm a bit more interested in its operation, but a regular person shouldn't have too many questions, lest you're looking to be informed (which you should, but don't absolutely need to.)

They completed the task within 20 minutes and I was off with a new filter and an engine full of the good stuff, leaving me confident that I made the right choice in deciding to take my car to a quick-serve oil servicer, which I had been having reservations towards up until that point.

Would definitely recommend it, but, honestly, if you want to be COMPLETELY satisfied with the job, changing your own oil is one of the easiest and more intimate methods of getting to know your vehicle.

Otherwise, this is a great alternative.

Also, not for nothing, there's a Dunks next door in the instance you need a fix while you wait for your baby to be settled.

Service was excellent! Super friendly and they even cleared the dead leaves from under my hood. Mike the Manager was super attentive to us and his employees. 10/10

Valvoline is the only place that fixes up cars that doesn’t discriminate against beautiful women 👏 Amazing customer service and they went out of their way to help out!!
