Gem of a place that apparently only opened a few months ago. They are a small family-owned business that truly puts their heart and souls into their food. You can tell they are still getting into the groove of things and they don't have posted prices, but they do change the menu every few days. This restaurant is takeout only and it can be tight to wait in line inside, but when we went it wasn't busy so we were helped immediately. I bet they will be successful in the long term. The woman at the counter was kind and the food delicious. We recommend the pernil, rice/beans, tostones, and sweet plantains!

I love the rice yellow or white and pork. They are very nice. Unfortunately there is no place to sit it is a take out spot but not bad at all

Excellent in every sense of the way. Went here again. This time we had white rice and beans with chicken stew on the side ( they add a bit of BBQ sauce to the chicken which it wasn’t my favorite but ate it anyway. ) my husband had yellow rice and beans with pincho and he loved it with some yellow plantain on the side, everything was good and it was a good portion for the price. The natural lemonade was great too.
We went after work around 6pm and food was fresh not dry or anything like that.

Staff is really friendly and attentive. Food is good, prices reasonable as well as the portions you get. White rice a little bit too moist but that’s how I like it. Be ready to wait if you want the yellow rice.

In front of the building they have a big sign that says drive thru window but as of now they are not using it so you have to come inside.

I called to order and pick up but they told me they were backed up. Really friendly and apologetic.

LOVE their food....It's VERY flavorful! Lots of meat in the Pasteles & it's not all fatty...SO SO GOOD!!! HIGHLY recommend! the beans...are flavored like homecooked, not massed produced, bland, watery... it was good... I mean, REALLY good. I am going to call them in a little bit to see if they cater! AND they were SOOOOO Friendly & patient... we ordered a little of everything because it was our first time there...EVERTYHING was AWESOME ...For years, we've gone to Criollisimo & their food is really good too...BUT, this place, I think, just might be a little better... I feel bad saying that, because I have been loyal to Brenda's since she opened...BORIEXPRESS is definitely HUGE competition & they have food every time I go... Criollisimo does NOT---if you don't get there before 5... it's hit or miss- making it extra difficult for people that work till 5-6

If you hate flavor, great customer service, and good portions then steer clear of this spot! Every bite generously burst authentic island flavors in my mouth. The team was fast and courteous simultaneously with everyone. They are accommodating and patient and the food was just delicious!! I have a large family so I ordered a decent variety in 1 visit. I had their chicken which BTW I wanted to cry when it was gone, BBQ ribs, pernil, yellow rice, red beans, chicken and pork pinchos....NOTHING missed the mark!! One of my sons does not care for Spanish rice and beans but is occasionally forced to eat it because his mother loves it and I pay so tough lol...he had 4 servings and was looking for more. Boriexpress is officially my new Spanish food spot 😋.

This place has good food. Everything I got did not disappoint, the lady that served my food was really friendly. I recommend the lemonade and rellenos de papa was the best I ever had
