We purchased a Cricket cart from a dealer near us and needed service. Upon contacting them, we were told they didn’t work on them. A quick call to Medical Mobility Equipment in Melbourne and we had an appointment the next morning. The work was done while waiting - saving us a 5 hour round trip another day to pick up the cart. Everyone at Mobility Medical was so helpful and we are very happy with the Cricket cart and the service we received.

Melbourne Mobility is over-the-top when it comes to customer care and service. We have been customers there since at least 2012, when we progressed from an electric wheelchair to a scooter, after husband's stroke in 2009. This company knows their customers, stays in contact, tries their very best to make adjustments to any product to suit the disabled customer's needs. The procedures to follow in dealing with insurance companies, required paperwork and signatures are always completed without any problems. Their service department is excellent and very trustworthy. We recently purchased a beautiful van from MME. It was a very easy and no pressure kind of purchase too. Starting with Jackie on the phone right straight through to Harry our salesman, the entire team there to help make things easier for us. And I know there will be more questions as I learn all of the features of our new van! So good to know that all I need to do is pick up the phone or stop by for that help!

What a wonderful experience. it is wonderful to know that people like them really CARE. My husband Anton Bremec's power wheel chair broke. My first interaction was with a lovely woman name Jackie. She was very helpful and caring, and directed me to the technician Thai, who came to our house and repaired my husband's chair. He was very knowledgeable and fixed it without hesitation. An extremely nice man. It was a wonderful experience, and I would like everyone to know Mobility Medical Equipment staff are the very best, far beyond any other medical equipent place, that we have dealt with in the past. Kudos to them,.

We purchased a new Cricket SX3 from Freeman Liquidators, 3983 W. 7th. Street, Joplin, MO 64801 on October 12, 2019. We live in Edmond, OK and this Cricket dealer is the closest to our home (211 miles one way) that had an inventory of Crickets.
Upon arriving home with the Cricket, I was able to drive it for about 5 minutes before parking it inside of our garage. The very next day, I drove it across the street to show off my new toy to my neighbor. While standing outside the vehicle, I turned the key on and activated the turn signals just to see what they looked like. The vehicle lurched forward almost running into a retaining wall before I got it stopped.
From that point on, the vehicle will not go forward or backward but the accessories all still function. I contacted Greg Freeman of Freeman Liquidators to explain the problem. I can say nothing but good things about Greg Freeman and his company in Joplin, MO. He put me in touch with Melbourne Cricket located in Melbourne, FL. There, I dealt with two gentlemen, a Scott and a Steve. I believe Steve was the head man of the company. Between the two and with the help of their service men, they diagnosed the problem and sent free of charge the necessary parts to repair my Cricket. It is my understanding that the Cricket warranty only covers parts, not labor. Due to the circumstances, Melbourne Cricket sent me a check to cover all of the repair work. I feel they went above and beyond what they were obligated to do and I would recommend their business to anyone.

My sister is dependent on her electric wheelchair and she forgot her charger when she was visiting. When we called Mobility Medical to ask if they would charge her chair they were terrific! They said they were glad to and when we asked the price they said they were happy to share their electricity for free. When I picked up the chair the next morning Steve was very nice and handed me a charger, no charge, asking me just to return it when we were through needing it. Since my sister has two chargers at home (one from being forced to buy a charger when folks weren't as kind) it was terrific of him to loan us one instead of requiring us to buy another one. His kindness entirely changed my sister's trip. We thank him and Mobility Medical for their thoughtfulness, kindness and eagerness to create and provide a solution. Their generosity made a huge difference.

The entire staff is so helpful. We purchased a scooter there and left the store feeling so confident that we made the right choice for our needs and this was not the first business we went too. I highly recommend Mobility Medical Equipment to anyone needing speciality equipment..

We bought a wheelchair van from Mobility Medical, I picked it up last Friday. It is perfect for us. My wife's HHA is delighted with the easy method of putting her in the van. Everyone at the store was very helpful. Thank you Steve & Harry. It is the 2nd time that we had business with Mobility Medical & each time they couldn't have been more helpful.

I have lived in Melbourne since 1987 but sorry to say that although I have driven by their buildings hundreds of times I never really knew they repaired scooters. I stopped in to ask if they accepted used scoters on consignment. We got to talking and asked what was wrong with mine.I explained when my wife soup;d be driving it, it would stop and we we would hear beeps.They asked for me to count the beeps as it was likely repairable. We were able to determine it was consistently 7 beeps. I brought it in on a Monday. They called and said they were not able to run the testing on it as the batteries indicated bad. I thought it strange as the batteries were less than a year old (purchased from a different mobility store. They advised that they might have to replace the throttle and speed pot. I did the math and thought it would cost me between $400 ands $500. I again gave permission to replace the two components if that what was needed. Imagine my surprise when I received a call from Jackie the following day. She advised my batteries were fine. They gave a "bad" reading because they were heavily corroded. (Pride Go-go scooter purchased in 2006). Once they were able to test the throttle pot and speed pot they checked out fine. Said they could replace them but did not think it necessary. Suggested try it without replacing as they were confident this would;d fix the problem. Bottom line.....$93 to replace scooter that has been beeping for about 4 years. Can't say enough about Jackie........kept me advised of process every step of the way. Ultra professional, competent, and just someone you would always want to deal with. Tai was the technician. After I had loaded up the scooter and was starting to leave, he came running out of the shop. Just wanted to make sure I did not have any additional questions. Again, could not have been m ore pleasant. My basket has seen better days so I went back in to see if they sold baskets they did not have my model but Jackie said thy could probably figure something out. Impressed? Off the charts. kWill I be back? You bet.

I got a mobility scooter from this company they were more than helpful and professional from the start. Teri was expeditious in getting all the paperwork together and getting Authorization. Once I met with Paul my salesman they had everything done and ready for delivery in a week ! Everyone of the staff were very knowledgable and treated me with the upmost respect. I would highly recommend them for any mobility services needed !!!!! I also want to one more time personally thank Steve so very much !!

I highly recommend mobility medical equipment. They treat you like family there. Our wheelchair lift was stuck in the down position on a Saturday. They did not hesitate to come out and get us moving again. If we had to have waited until Monday we would not have been able to use our vehicle all weekend long. They truly care about their clients at mobility medical equipment.

I went there to get my truck looked at and as well my wheelchair had a broken part on it as well. Steve, Jackie, Ray, and Dave helped me out above and beyond what most places would do. I would recommend this place to anyone that needs help with their wheelchair or a vehicle that has a lift or a ramp in a van etc. . I have a truck that has a topper , crane, and a stowe away that lifts me up to my seat to drive. They do great work. 5 STARS. If I could give higher than 5 I would. Great place.

One of the biggest problems for anyone who has special mobility needs, is finding a source for help that actually cares and provides top flight service and products, at a fair price. Mobility Medical Equipment is one of those rare and truly unique companies.

The best place for any of your medical mobility needs. A group of knowledgeable people who can advise you on the proper equipment and can repair what they sell. They try and make you feel comfortable. A great staff that has been there for years. That is saying something.

The was unbelievably helpful and courteous when I had to rent a van and I will be renting a van again next month. The van was spacious and clean. I would love to be able to buy it but it not possible at this time.

It is a bit apprehensive to buy from someone from another state, however it was a smooth and easy process.

These people know what they are doing and help you to feel at ease with the steps necessary to make it happen.

I would do it again with out a doubt.
