I can't say enough good things about the VisionFirst location in Scottsburg, IN. Dr. Angie Buchannan and Zack Harper are fantastic—1000/10 recommend! You won't be disappointed!

Dr. Angie Buchannan is outstanding—my family loves her, and now I understand why. She's very knowledgeable and helped me find the perfect glasses for my complex vision issues. I traveled from Indianapolis, IN, because I've struggled to get the right prescription before, but thanks to Dr. Buchannan, my vision is improved and I can see more clearly with my new glasses! She even included a handwritten note with my glasses, which I've never received from an eye doctor, and I've been wearing glasses since I was 3!

Zack Harper, the office manager, provided exceptional customer service. He was extremely helpful and patient while I was picking out frames, never rushing me, even though I can be quite indecisive. When I returned a couple of weeks later to pick up my glasses, we discovered the glasses had been mistakenly shipped to Frankfort, KY location, over an hour away.

Zack went above and beyond to resolve this inconvenience. He offered several solutions, and when he learned we were planning to drive to the Kentucky location due to my tight schedule, he insisted on going there himself the next morning—on his day off—so he could meet us back at the office to adjust my glasses. Keep in mind, this location is closed on Saturdays, which made his gesture even more remarkable. My mom and I have never experienced such amazing customer care! Zack clearly cares about the business and his customers! He deserves an award for going the extra mile and exceeding our expectations!

Everything was done in a professional manner. My glasses were done to make sure they fit my face perfectly. My eye doctor made sure that I received the right lenses for my eyes. I was very satisfied with my experience I received at Vision First.

Wonderful experience. I had an appointment for myself and my special needs child and the staff was amazing. They were great with him and had him really engaged the whole time. He was so scared before we got there but by the time we were finished, he had a lot of fun. Like he had been to the park or something. I got great care as well. New to bifocals and everyone was incredible explaining to me what to expect. And they don’t over book so no waiting. We got right in and right out. I would highly recommend to anyone. Especially anyone with kids.

The doctors and staff at Vision First were great. They answered all my questions and had my glasses ready in a week. Then when I had a mishap with the new puppy, they got me in quick to assess the damage to my eye. I love this place!

This is a great place to have your eyes taken care of, they found a spot behind my eye that hadn't been found before and did a really thorough job taking care of everything. Plus, the people in this office are nice and helpful. I recommend them if you're looking for a place to get your eyes taken care of.

A very enjoyable and easy experience for getting new eye glasses. They have the whole process streamlined so you’re in and out in no time. Everyone from registration, eye exam, Dr exam, eye glasses selection, insurance and check out were very professional, helpful and kind. I received my new glasses quickly and they were perfect.

Best experience we have had with eye exams and purchasing glasses! The doctor is very knowledgeable and kind, and does not rush through the exam. He makes you feel relaxed. Staff is also very knowledgeable and very friendly! They helped me pick out the right frames for me, which I appreciated very much. My husband is not thrilled about going to any kind of doctor, but even he had a good experience, and found someone on staff to talk baseball with!

Love it. My insurance paid for me to get new glasses, after a few months my right ear piece kept breaking off, so insurance paid for me a new pair. Best part is, I was there for someone else's appointment and went in to inquire about them. They immediately found a pair of the same frames and put my lenses in them. I now have brand new glasses. Thank you for fixing them on the spot.

The absolute friendliest staff! They kept my little boy busy with lollipops and baby snark coloring pages so I could get my eye exam. I would highly recommend going here and they take Anthem HIP!
