It's open to the public for lunch m-f, 11-2pm, Friday night Dinners only $10. Excellent food.
Full bar, friendly atmosphere. Not a fast food but a sit down and enjoy with friends kind of place.

Great atmosphere (safe place) for Veterans of Combat to feel welcome, the staff and food is top notch compared to other VFWs and this Post is all about Veterans and their families 🇺🇸

I was there last night and had a Patty Melt w fries. It was absolutely delicious! Everyone was welcoming and friendly. Ladies room was spotless. Reasonably priced and bartenders were great!

The food was fantastic and the Wedding and decor was perfect.

Post 8696 is an amazing post. All the staff and the members included from the VFW and American Legion were very friendly. Would highly recommend any past or present service member to put that on there to do list and go to location

I came to VFW #8696 with my dad for a Memorial Day cookout that was absolutely fantastic. I am a veteran and have visited a few VFW's in my time, and I must say this one has been the best so far. It's a impressive looking building inside and out. The outside set up was masterfully done and everyone in the modest turnout was able to sit and enjoy some very good, albeit basic summertime food.
What made the day was the very nice people whom we got to meet. Fellow veterans and their families. The conversations, the feeling of comradeship. Knowing we can come to a place like this to unwind and relax. Whether its having a cocktail at the bar, shooting some pool, or enjoying bingo night. I highly recommend anyone to come on out and see for themselves all that I have experienced.

What an epic event of elite dance competition. I got to witness and experience my favorite girl win 1at place and bring home the GOLD!!! I'm so thankful to have been a part of it. Thank you so much for putting this together. Such beautiful sweet people

Wonderful Valentine's celebration. Great food, service was great and the entertainment was really good. The building is very attractive and clean.

Awesome place for lunch. Friday night dinners are great. Best BINGO place in town on Thursday nights. Starts at 6pm

This is an extremely nice VFW Post It has a very large and extremely nice dance floor. The building is large and very modern. The people are very friendly.

Friendly, super clean, large hall for functions, bartenders are quick and not cheap with the alcohol ratio, prices are extremely reasonable!

At a function there. The facilty was very clean and those on staff were so helpful and pleasant!

Felt comfortable and actually bought a membership for discounts on drinks lol. Love that it's open to the public.

Great food. Looking forward to many more meals at this wonderful club.
