Great place to check out the Mississippi river. Little tricky to launch canoe when low.

Launching a canoe from here makes you feel like a true pioneer. The mightily Mississippi babbling and roaring with the seasons as it has done for ages, the quiet benevolent wilderness singing its esoteric melodies, and the ever present danger of someone running out of the woods and stabbing you with a makeshift knife.

Nice access mud needs to be cleared from boat ramp so it is an actual useable option and would be nice to have a more consistent police patrol of the area
