I went to AW Custom Kitchens for a much needed new kitchen. The old original 80’s builder grade design made my kitchen non functional.

Richard designed my new kitchen utilizing every inch of space to give the maximum amount of storage and functionality as possible.

He presented me with two designs and even a third design after I requested a change be made.

The demolition and cabinet install took just over a week and Richard managed to move my project a month ahead of the original start time which I was very excited about.

Richard’s recommendation of a countertop installer, electrician and plumber were very helpful in that they all worked together and around each other to complete my project

I was reluctant to start another project after the nightmare experiences I recently went through with contractors and realtors up north who were never committed to my best interests.

I let Richard know I had these experiences. I had my guard way up undeserving to him; and he really did make it a priority to keep me at ease by addressing all the concerns I brought to him
promptly, clearly and consistently. He always treated me fairly, always answered the phone or returned my calls promptly which really made getting through this kitchen remodel much easier.

The ease of communication was most appreciative.

The cabinets are beautiful, very good sturdy quality that fit perfect in my tiny kitchen and just lighten up my whole place!

Richard s top priority was making sure I was very satisfied with the end result – which I was. I would definitely recommend AW Custom Kitchens and when I’m ready to remodel my bathroom I will certainly be calling AW CK to do the work.

We had almost a whole house remodel with AW Custom Kitchens- kitchen, bathrooms, laundry room and floors. It’s hard to put in pictures how different our home is now- the changes are truly striking! We appreciate how hard Alan, Susan and Richie helped us design and bring our ideas to fruition. Their experience in home remodeling helped us tremendously with design and their solid working relationships with subcontractors and vendors made the process much easier. They are extremely honest and will work within your budget. We are looking forward to having them remodel our in-law suite. We would definitely recommend them any home project.

Alan and his wife Susan recently completed a remodel of my 20+ year old kitchen. I had received several quotes and his was among the most competitive. He is very knowledgeable and thorough in his trade, and was able to add some artistic elements to the kitchen that gave it a very custom look. The whole remodel was also completed in a timely manner and finished before I had anticipated. I plan on remodeling my bathrooms in the next few years and I will not hesitate to hire Alan and Susan again for this work. Strongly recommend this company!

Edit added 7/26/23 - finally got around to having my bathrooms redmodeled and once again AW Custom Kitchens did not disappoint. Alan and Susan's son Richard was my main point of contact during the bathroom remodel process and he did a great job of keeping me informed on where we were at in the process and was very responsive to any questions or issues that came up. I'm very happy with the finished project and would not hesitate to recommend AW Custom Kitchens to all my friends and family in the area in need of a remodeling contractor.

AW Custom kitchens was a great company to work with and did a great job. Richard and Alan had some really good suggestions that made our kitchen fantastic. We couldn’t be more pleased with the results. We are glad that they talked us into adding the trash bins and the pantry.

We used AW Kitchens for our kitchen remodel. I was all over place on what I wanted. Richard was extremely patient with me. He explained the process and different features. Alan oversaw the installation and helped us solve any unexpected problems (garbage disposal and dishwasher issues). Alan is so well connected in the community that he has a host of trusted people that can do countertops, tile, plumbing, etc. This was very helpful and it saved lots of time. We liked working with them so much we have now hired them to remodel my father's kitchen. Pictures will be posted soon for both kitchens when they are completed.

Alan, Sue & Richard are such a great family team who I would highly recommend. They completely removed our old kitchen (and found a great way to recycle/repurpose our old cabinets, so helping others and saving landfill), and replaced it with the kitchen of our dreams! They are professional, incredibly hard-working and "hands-on", and also a lot of fun to be around!

We chose AW kitchen to give me my dream kitchen which is exactly what they did! Allen and his Son Richard were very helpful with designing my kitchen! What an amazing family run company!! From their son, Richard, who starts the process and takes great care of you through the entire job, to Alan and Susan, who did all the work in my 21 yr old guest bathroom. They are all very professional, courteous, prompt and efficient. While on my property, they were respectful and even cleaned up when the job was done!! What company does that now days?! They did excellent craftsmanship and are very honest and went the extra mile to ensure I was happy and the job completed in such an excellent fashion. My counter top is not installed yet, but I couldn't wait to send words of appreciation and gratitude. I highly recommend this company to do any type of cabinetry work you need in your home. A beautiful showroom in the European Village also with great ideas! Thank you again for all your hard work!

Very pleased with all the work AW Kitchens did for us. When we purchased our home we knew the kitchen needed a full remodel. Alan and Sue were amazing to work with and gave us exactly what we wanted. Highly recommend and will use them again for future projects.

Five stars for AW cabinets. Richard, Sue and Alan are a great team to work with. The communication between us was a pleasure as we designed our new kitchen together. The team often offered excellent suggestions and were quick to respond to all our questions and requests.

With several layouts to consider, we were able to take copies home to discuss and visualize the different options. Very helpful. We found that other cabinet shops we tried would be happy to design our layout in their office but were reluctant to let us take their designs home to study.

The AW family, being well connected in the area, offered great options for the contractors required for plumbing and electric who were timely and very professional.

The installation process went smoothly and orderly so our time without a working kitchen during construction was minimal.

The finished product is beautiful. We are extremely pleased with the quality of the cabinets, the workmanship and the service that continues after the job is done.

AW is a family business that also believes in giving back to the community which we witnessed and applaud.

It is without reservation that we sincerely recommend AW cabinets.

Richard and Alan did a fantastic job with our condo kitchen and bath renovation. From the plan/design phase to execution and installation, it was very well organized (and ours was done during the apex of the COVID supply chain nightmare). They were honest, reliable and the finished product surpassed expectations. Highly recommend.

AW did a fantastic job remolding the 2 bathrooms in our home. Before the remoldel, both baths were "vintage 1979" complete with mustard yellow tile! AW took both baths down to the studs and did a beautiful job with the remodeling. The craftsmanship and attention to detail are second to none.

Alan, Susan and Richard are amazing to work with. They did my kitchen about 3 years ago and they also put in new cabinets in my two guest bathrooms. They just re-did my master bathroom and I am very pleased. If there is a problem they will come back and fix it. They were very professional and cleaned up when they were finished.
