Eye Center of St. Augustine

We have been long time patients of the Eye Center and all the doctors we have seen over the many years have all been fantastic. They spend whatever time necessary to answer all your questions and explain the test results. Staff is super too.

The staff was pleasant, friendly and welcoming. Dr Tamarro is professional, has great bedside manner and inspire trust and confidence. The center is equipped with the latest technologies. I would not hesitate to refer family members and friends.

The Eye Center of St Augustine (Palm Coast office) was truly incredible on all fronts! I had an eye injury arise late on a Friday afternoon. I first visited Advent Health’s urgent care where they diagnosed an issue with my cornea and prescribed treatment- but also referred me to see an ophthalmologist ASAP for further care. The Eye Center not only responded right away to the referral request from Advent Health - they also had me in their office within less than an hour to see an ophthalmologist!! The quality of care and genuine level of concern was above and beyond for any day of the week, but given it was late in the day on a Friday afternoon was just exceptional. Thankfully I was prescribed further treatment and will return on Monday for a follow appointment. I’m very grateful and would highly recommend ECSA for any vision needs!

Overall I had an amazing experience. My husband got a piece of metal in his eye and after several hours in the ER and the ER not being able to do anything for him, I came here. Front desk was so so helpful with confusion that we had with his insurance. Once we figured out his insurance, we were in and out in 5 minutes, the doctor was so kind and my husband immediately felt relief. We are so so thankful for the kind and thorough staff.

I was traveling from Massachusetts to my home in Palm Coast and had metal stuck in my eye. I called for emergency appointment and they saw me the same day. Dr Hockett was incredible!!! He was patient and had a great personality,
not to mention outstanding skills as an Opthomoligist. I'm so grateful and thankful I found them.

Dr. Stan is excellent! He is knowledgeable with a great, kind personality. It is especially appreciated that he reviews test results, explains prescriptions and answers questions.

Dr Hockett and Staff were professional, collegial and listened to me. There was flexibility with scheduling; offices are clean and convenient; and all my questions were answered.
