Our academy New Journey Jiu Jitsu located in St. Cloud had the pleasure of visiting Palm Coast Combat Sports today, with a van full of our students and others joining in their own cars. The experience was nothing short of fantastic. The team at Palm Coast displayed incredible skill, and we were able to train and roll with some truly talented individuals. DJ and his wife Mallorie were exceptionally welcoming and brought a wealth of knowledge to the table. We left feeling more inspired and even more passionate about the sport we love. We are blessed to be a part of this amazing team! We look forward to returning soon! I’ve been training here for about 6 months and absolutely love everything about this gym! Great instruction, friendly people, really feels like a family now that I’ve become acquainted with all of the members. All egos dead at the door, and it’s quality hard work daily! DJ is amazing with children and young adults the same! Everyone is here to get better and it shows every day!

We love this gym. We really didn’t know much about jujitsu when we signed up our son. Pretty much immediately our son Jeremiah took to jujitsu quickly and really enjoyed it. Ultimately he ended up choosing jujitsu over soccer and started competing. What went from just trying it out to full blown team/family. We have loved watching our son grow and his confidence in this marital arts. We love the team and have become good friends and enjoyed watching teammates compete as well. We are so lucky to have such a great coach. DJ is true to his word, disciplined, strict and fun and goofy all at the same time. He truly cares about the team and wants to help them do well. We are lucky we have a coach that has the lineage he has here in our little town in palm coast! We can’t wait to see what the future holds!

Been training here for a while now and I’ll state a few key factors that led to 5 stars. Family oriented we are all teammates here and we love coming here and training with each other. There are kids classes for different ages and I think it’s good for kids to learn discipline, and how to defend themselves, which this sport brings. Weather you are training to compete or want to learn new skills in life this spot definitely helps build that stamina and strength, Camaraderie and friendships. I’ve met some good people here the professor included can’t say enough good things.

This place helped save my life. After a traumatic life experience, I looked for a form of therapy that was affordable and didn't involve drugs. Although it may seem unconventional, this place works for me. I tried other gyms in the area but none of them made me feel as welcomed as this one. Since joining 3 months ago, I've lost 30 pounds without changing my diet. I've met so many new wonderful friends that have supported my journey to learn Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. The owner, DJ Malon, is without a doubt the best Professor. His method of coaching builds confidence and skills that are proven to help anyone win on the mats and at life.

This place is great for all ages. Got my grandson started in Muay Thai and Jiu Jitsu and he’s enjoying himself so much. The trainers are great and patient with the little ones. I’d definitely suggest for any age.

Quality instruction from an experienced team of good instructors with proven ability, dedicated to the martial arts and to effectively developing you or your child’s abilities. My child loves the lessons and the games they play after the work is done, as well as the friendships made. Energy outlet, fitness, self-defense, competitive spirit, whatever your need, Palm Coast Combat Sports is a one-stop shop.

Awesome gym. Great group of people ranging all ages. Everyone lifts eachother up and holds eachother accountable. Truthfully feels like family here and the training is top notch. DJ is legit and one of the highest skilled practitioners/teachers in this entire area. There's a reason people come here. Check it out and see for yourself.

Great gym and gym atmosphere! Such great students and an anwesome instructor. As a female, I enjoy training here. Everyone is respectful and there are other women to train with.

Martial Arts checks a lot of boxes on the list of things needed for a healthy life, especially for growing children. Mental toughness, fitness, goal-mindedness, discipline, self-confidence, friendships/socialization, balance, ability to defend ones self, learn to take and give direction, just to name a few. I wish I had committed to this when I was younger, and am so glad to provide such a healthy outlet for my children. The staff at Palm Coast Combat Sports are experienced and very dedicated to providing excellent training. Hard work and lots of fun, perfect for all ages and skill levels. Tell DJ I sent you. 😁

I’ve been coming to this gym for 1 year now, for Gi and No Gi Jiu Jitsu classes. This is the best gym in the area. There is a great variety of other students to grapple with. Everyone is friendly and motivated. Also, If you want to compete, this gym is the place to be. There is a real sense of family when we travel to competitions. Its fun, its healthy, its challenging, and it’s useful skill for your life. I only wish i came here sooner.

A Great Gym to train at from white belt to black belt Professor DJ is a GREAT teacher no matter what age or skill level. Anytime you are in Palm Coast you should train there. 🤙

I give this pl 4 stars it’s clean very organized with equipment for boxing etc. I train there with an awesome trainer name DaVaughn Brown on Sat others days the places is packed with other trainers that train from adults teenagers and young kids

Absolutely love the people here! They are so dedicated, not just to training, but to living by the principles they teach too. Not to mention you get awesome training for the value. You can tell the owners truly care about creating a welcoming environment without compromising the accountability needed to develop your skills.
You may not get nun chuck skills, but you will get just about every kind of combat/self-defense training you're looking for. And if they don't offer that training now, guaranteed they would either give good references or find a way to make quality training in that area available.
