The definition of a hidden gem. The staff is so friendly and their menu is huge! I was expecting just a few items, especially since this “restaurant” at face value is more like a gas station snack bar. However, the food is delicious, made to order, and fresh and authentic. I went with my family who lived in Taiwan for years and we all agreed that the flavors were spot on. In actuality, the fact that this place shares space with a gas station really makes you feel like you’re getting real Taiwanese street food.

Once you get passed the gas station setting, the food is as Taiwanese as you will get here in a restaurant. Perhaps the gas station setting makes it feel more like street side setting. The beef noodle soup had a lot more beef than anticipated, very tender and flavorful. The bento came with very good sides that accompanied the rice, pork chop and popcorn chicken well. The stinky tofu and sausages were also tasty.

Don't underestimate this Taiwanese restaurant inside an Exxon gas station. With cheap coffee on the counter, a few no frills tables inside, the staff know what they are doing. The menu is filled with authentic food from those found in night markets in Taiwan to bento boxes.
Stopping inside on a Saturday evening around 6 p.m., there was a healthy flow of customers. Order on a screen by the register and your food can be packaged for takeout or you can stay there and make use of the many sauces on the counter.
Making a rookie mistake, my wife, seven-year-old daughter, and I each order our own entree. The portions are so big that we could have gotten two and be content.
Everything we got was excellent and fresh. The fried rice with chicken was a favorite. The pork dumplings with a garlic sauce and the Taiwan noodles were a hit too. So good!
They sell drinks, but they also have cups for free water and ice.

This may be my favorite "cheap eats" for Asian food. Saw it suggested on IG. Took their suggested cod fish platter. Really enjoyed it... wasn't expecting the fish to be "bone-in". Staff was very accommodating both with the restaurant and the gas station.
Gas station had some good prices on American soda cans if you're not looking for Asian soda.
Hope this restaurant can find a better place without raising prices. Wish that I lived closer.

Amore Eats is a hidden gem inside a gas station, serving up surprisingly delicious dishes. The server was incredibly friendly, and the beef noodle soup and stinky tofu were amazing. The sausage with sticky rice was okay, but the sausage had a weird burnt taste. Overall, it’s a unique spot worth exploring for tasty surprises.

Such a fun experience to eat great Taiwanese food in a random gas station! We were very lucky there were seats available when we arrived. Food was pretty authentic, so surprised!!

Fantastic hidden gem tucked away inside a gas station. Some of the most authentic Taiwanese food I’ve ever had in the US - it felt like I was back at a night market in Taiwan!! They also give extra bonus food if you pay with cash!

The best of best! I recommend the cherry shrimp fried rice. It’s better than Ding-Tai-Fong.
I definitely will come back again.👍

Probably the most authentic Taiwanese restaurant close to DC!! It is a food stand with a convenient store instead of a fancy exterior, but the foooooood‼
The beef noodle is a MUST.
Have to mention that the sides such as pickled cabbage and braised eggs that came with the entrees all make me feel like home.
Will definitely come back for more.

Great Taiwanese food that is fast and convenient take out. My go-to lunch place for Taiwanese crispy popcorn chicken, Taiwanese burgers (soft steam buns with tender pork belly and peanut sauce), and fried smelly tofu. Very reasonable for authentic street food.

I rarely write a review but this Taiwanese restaurant made me honored to recognize it. I am so happy this restaurant is open, they used to sell pre-made frozen food packages and used to have a shop in an Asian market and now this location is very convenient to get to and have a lot of choices. All the food are authentic and it's the best Taiwanese street food in D.C. area. It's wonderful to have this gem in the neighborhood. This shop is clean and have a few seats, if you have a large group or young children it's best to order carry-out. I've tried 6 dishes from them and all have decent amount and quality food. Definitely worth to travel here for authentic Taiwanese food!

I adore this place. Both dishes I had were perfect, the Taiwan Beef Noodle and Braised Pork Rice. Then the vibe was 🤌. You should definitely go check this place out for your own sake. I can’t wait to go back and eat more from the menu.

I found this hole in the wall spot on a Friday lunch. I liked their Beef Noodle Soup enough that I told my friends about it over the weekend and we ordered more things to try on Sunday!
I strongly believe this is a contender for best beef noodle soup in the MoCo area. Excelling at flavor, quantity, and quality while most competitors have grown even more mediocre. We ordered their Taiwanese chicken on rice platter and initially thought they messed up the order because there was a lunch box instead of rice. The full lunch box actually comes with the TW chicken platter and was enough for almost 2 meals. The chicken was very close to Jumbo Jumbo's, lacking only in more seasoning dusted on and should probably be eaten fresh as it gets steamy in the take out box.
Unfortunately the dining space is limited to half of the convenience store but there is plenty of street parking off of the gas station. Did not smell of gasoline inside the store for those concerned.
"Reminds me of Taiwan" - friend
I plan on returning and trying more of the menu!
Highly recommend!

Updated: It is the best Taiwanese eatery, especially after Super Bowl closed.
Fresh authentic Taiwanese food with a decently large menu. Probably the best Taiwanese street food in the DMV.

This is the most authentic Taiwanese place in the area. Everything tastes like home (I’m from Taiwan). The service is extremely good and everyone there is super friendly. I’ve ordered beef noodle soup, salt and pepper chicken, Sakura shrimp and veggies, oyster omelette, intestine vermicelli and cod fish rice, every single one of them tastes like what I had in Taiwan growing up. I’d definitely recommend this place if you’re in the mood for Taiwanese food.

Wow. Just wow. Close your eyes and you are in a night market in Taiwan. I stopped in for a fast bite and I was blown away. Host is friendly, ambiance is... Gas station. But the food is WOW! Almost a little pricy but definitely worth it. I just had the meatball and sticky rice sausage - fantastic. The Asian specialty sodas are my favorite. Only been once, but I can 3 or 4 more visits in quick succession.
Update: I have been back multiple times and the food is excellent. The Taiwanese fried chicken Is Fantastic, And I try and get it Every week.

We tried the popcorn chicken and the Taiwanese noodle soup. Both were really delicious! They are pretty generous with their servings.

The “Taiwan Burger x 4” or bao buns were delicious! 4 for $15 is a great price! A hidden gem, will definitely come back.

Authentic stinky tofu! The smell walking in made me so nostalgic and happy. Recommend calling to order ahead, they were out of a couple items I wanted to try. Will definitely be back!

They have the most authentic Taiwanese street food in DMV area! I did not know about this restaurant until it was recommended by a gourmet review on digital media. I tried their pig knuckle bento box, chicken wings and intestine & pig blood soup - all are great options! The only thing: the spot is a little crowded and may not be very accessible to wheelchair users.
