I recently had cataract surgery with Dr. Amy Nichols, and I have to say, she is an amazing surgeon. Her knowledge and skill in the operating room is superior. Throughout the entire process, Dr. Nichols was patient and caring and made herself very accessible to answer all of my questions. I highly recommend her and her office. Thanks to her expertise, things are looking much better for me now after my cataract removal - pun intended, and it's 100% true.

I had my long awaited cataract surgery today. Needless to say I was anxious but was so relieved when the staff immediately put me at ease. Everyone was so welcoming and explained exactly what was to take place. The staff worked very well together. My Dr. is the best. Everyone seemed to have had my best interest and outcome at heart.

I enjoy my appointments with Dr. Gross. She is through and kind. Her staff is very nice and caring. My favorite person there is Randi. She is so sweet and personable (they all are) and I love to chat with her. I feel Dr. Gross takes great care of me. Her office is convenient getting in and out. All around great experience. I have been seen at the Frederick office for many years.

I was seen promptly by Dr. G., after being tested by her assistant. All staff were polite, friendly, and masked. The waiting room had no one else in it; chairs were properly distanced , in the event of having more than 1 visit. I felt comfortable and safe at all times. Chairs were sanitized after use. Dr. G. Was very professional in her examination, and asked some appropriate medical questions about my over all health. Overall, the experience was very non-stressful; I was treated respectfully at all times. I will definitely continue my annual appointments there.

Dr. Gross is professional yet caring. She listened to my concerns and addressed my questions clearly and with patience, explaining in terms I understood. Her staff was courteous, helpful and patient. The office is clean, easy to park and access. A very positive experience!

Great staff and clean practice. My mom had issue with an eye they got her in the very next day that too as a new patient so thank you for that. Dr. Chen was very helpful, knowledgeable and polite. He explained everything very nicely and took care of the issue. No wait time and patients are in and out in timely manner. Thank you!

First time visiting and it was a great experience. Minimal wait time and the technician, Ashley (can't remember her name), was exceptional. She was friendly and very thorough. Then enters Dr. Chen who was equally welcoming, thorough and emphatic. Shared all the required information and addressed all my questions. I will be returning for a surgical consult.

The staff associates I dealt with Debbie, Robin and Sandra were all very pleasant and helpful. Holly M Gross, MD, is superb in providing a thorough examination with specific recommendations for follow up. I felt welcomed and very comfortable in communicating with everyone.

The front desk staff and Robin the assistant were professional, courteous and easy to deal with. Dr. Nicholas spent time beyond the exam asking questions and listening to all my concerns. Central Maryland Eye Association made me feel comfortable from the moment I entered the office. Each member of the staff was professional, extremely careful when administrating an exam. The precautions each staff member used for disinfecting any and all areas I entered was excellent. Excellent from beginning to end.

The cataract operation went very well. The explanation of options available and cost associated with them were accurate. The surgery center and doctors communicated regularly.

I could tell the difference in my vision as soon as I got home. Dr Nichols contacted me later in the evening to check on how things were going. The post operative check up the next day revealed vision was improved from 20-80 to 20-25.

This was my first visit to this office. The moment I walked into the office, they checked my temperature and asked me several questions about symptoms and any possible exposure to COVID-19. Face masks are mandatory and are provided in the event someone forgets to bring one. The office was attractive, clean, welcoming, and seating chairs in the reception area were comfortably spaced. The office atmosphere was friendly, unhurried and efficient. The receptionist welcomed me and asked me to complete forms regarding my medical history, vision problems, my chief concerns, and other routine items. I was seen on time by Dr. Amy Nicholson, who greeted me in a friendly manner, was gentle and thorough in her examination of my eyes, reviewed my medical history, and provided me with important information about my eyes. It's a wonderful office and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an ophthalmologist.

Dr. Holly Gross is the most professional patient friendly individual I have ever known. She performed both of my cataract surgeries and made be feel comfortable and at ease. She is always very thorough during all exams and never rushes. She always gives you all the time you need to discuss anything of concern. I recommend her highly. She is dedicated and committed to provide the most up to date technologies and services. Her staff is equally efficient.

Dr. Gross is an outstanding doctor. I have had a lot of problems with my eyes. She checked them thoroughly and explained her conclusions on the problems. She then gave me a detailed plan to improve things. I felt very happy with the results of this visit. I highly recommend this practice. There are other very good doctors and technicians in this practice.

When I entered the office I felt the two people at the desk were professional and made me feel welcomed. The gentleman who took my temperature was very friendly and did his job well I love having Dr Gross as my opthamologist She is an incredible surgeon and greets me with a smile. We were here on a referral by my daughters pediatrician, looking for a cause of chronic migraines she's experiencing. When we go to the parking lot, my daughter was begging me to just go home because she was nervous and didn't know what to expect. By the time we finished our appointment, she xunprompted* gave this practice a 11/10. From the front desk through check out, every employee was warm, friendly, polite and knowledgeable. Although we found my daughter had 20/20 vision and didn't discover any issues related to her migraines, this appointment was very helpful in unexpected ways. These wonderful and caring professionals were able to relieve the anxiety that comes with so much pain and uncertainty. And as her mom, I'm profoundly grateful.

I had a great experience today. This was my first visit as a new patient. The receptionist, whose name I didn’t get, was very pleasant and helpful. Ben, the technician, was very professional. Dr. Gross was pleasant and untrusted. She listened to my questions and offered excellent advice.

A superb doctor (Dr. Gross) who answered all my questions and did a fabulous job planning my cataract surgery with me and then did a perfect job of the surgery.
