Maryland Vision Institute Frederick

I am very impressed with Maryland Vision Institute in Frederick. Jenna answered my questions and helped me verify the correct information. She was so friendly and helpful. I am a patient of Dr. Huzella, who is an AWESOME physician. She is very caring, kind, and smart. She took the time to answer ALL of my questions and was very thorough in examining my eyes. She did my eye surgery and the results are phenomenal! I really appreciate having such a caring and competent team looking after my vision.

My husband and I had our first visit yesterday having recently moved to this area. The staff and Dr, Huzzella are very nice and welcoming. Every test administered was fully explained to us and there was no feeling that
we were being rushed or that they were too busy to spend whatever time was needed to address all our questions. Would highly recommend this office.

Dr. Holland treated both myself and my husband. He was very professional and friendly. I burst a blood vessel in my eye. It was scary, but luckily nothing to worry about. I would highly recommend him and his team.

The doctor I had definitely went above and beyond to help get my eye taken care of. Having a 7 mm abrasion wasn’t fun but they really helped me get some comfort.Staff is friendly and very helpful with questions and concerns I had and the dr answering all my questions made the experience better for sure because things were explained in terms I could understand. Definitely deserves more than a 5 star

The knowledge, confidence and the state-of-the-art treatment plans, Dr. Huzella offers to her patients, results in a good working relationship, which is the key to effective glaucoma care. I highly recommend scheduling an appointment with Dr. Huzella at Maryland Vision Institute-Frederick for help with managing your glaucoma and eye health, as I did many years ago.

My appointments are never rushed and my questions are welcomed and answered thoroughly. This review is being submitted for Leesa Rock, MSN. Dr. Huzella she is extremely kind and patient. She follows her patients with genuine concern for their care. Dr. Huzella has been my ophthalmology for over 15 years. She has the upmost respect and concern. She also care for my 92 year old dad. She is extremely patient with him and gives him specific details with all procedures and medications that he takes. He great appreciates her warm and caring “ chair- side” manner. We will continue to seek her care for our ongoing, complicated eye issues.

Dr Huzella is incredible doctor. She has removed large growths from my lids called xanthelasma. I was so incredibly happy with the outcome! Her staff is awesome Kiri and Jenna her assistants are always so helpful and knowledgeable. I drive a little further to come to the Frederick office because I’m so pleased with her care. You can tell she and her staff care for their patients. She also has a great sense of humor!

Today was my first time back in far to long. I had a very pleasent experience . The entire staff was professional and pleasant.

I was experiencing blurry vision and received an appt the same day! Dr. Hollen was efficient, kind, prompt and solved the problem with gentle care. KUDOS!

I really like the Dr Hutzella. She's great. She's done surgery on my eyes and other medical things. I just wish she was in Hagerstown , MD also for Frederick is a long trip for me but her services were well worth it.

i had a great experience with Dr. Huzella in her office today. Ty, one of her technicians was amazing. She was kind and considerate and professional. I have trouble with "fitting" the testing machines due to my arthritis, but Ty made the machine fit me and I was able to get a laser scan. I really appreciate how she went the extra mile. Dr. Huzella is an excellent doctor who is on top of all my ophthalmological concerns and needs. Thank you so much!

Dr. Huzella, Ty and the staff were amazing! Such kindness and compassion. I came in as a medical emergency late in the day, and they explained the procedure and diagnosis thoroughly. Dr. Huzella and Ty made me smile and we even shared some laughter at a time when I really needed it! I wouldn't go anywhere else!

MD Vision Center was extremely thorough and professional during my yearly check up. Dr Holland and staff are all outstanding!

I had a chronic infected retained extruding suture with granuloma scraping the surface of my left eye for over 2 years. Dr Huzella was the first and only Dr who actually lifted my eye lid and found the suture. I would recommend her to everyone for any eye care.
