Elena at News Cafe was our amazing server! Her attention to detail before, during, and after our meal coupled with her thoughtfulness after a long day made for a wonderful experience. Our food was delicious, compliments to the chef. We were happy to see the newsstand still exists inside, and the style is the same relaxed atmosphere as we remembered with the best seats on the beach. (The last place Gianni Versace frequented, we will never forget.) Thank you News Cafe for staying true to your roots. A highly recommended dining and drinks experience ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

First time vacationing in Miami. First meal we had was at the News Cafe for breakfast and it was exceptional. Our server Juan was amazing. He took beautiful photos of my family and I no issues. Food was amazing. Definitely worth it!

Our server Juan was accommodating from the get go when we sat down. He made my girlfriend and I feel as if we were family. This place was recommended by my friend. We are visiting from St Louis and will tell others about this place and to ask for Juan.

If you ever find yourself at South Beach ,you should drop by News Cafe. We walked in there on a slow casual Sunday afternoon wanting breakfast. They serve both breakfast and lunch. We ordered an avocado toast and a breakfast burrito. 10/10. Elena our server was very attentive,super nice. I will definitely be back.

Elmer G was a very sweet and kind waiter, I had a bad experience last night with a different restaurant and waitress that was short with us and mean, and I was afraid that would the norm here in Miami, but Elmer was the COMPLETE Opposite, so it was so nice to have him. The food was really good. I especially like the Eggs Benedict and their fruit platter, and sitting was very comfortable with great shade and fans to keep from overheating.

I went to News Cafe for my B day on 6/21, Hugo was great, so friendly and professional. He really knows how to take care of his customers! Gracias Hugo!.

Got a recommendation from family to try out News Cafe on my trip to Miami. The place is great for people watching, great food, fantastic music, and wonderful service. Shout out to our server, Juan who qas friendly, fun, and made awesome recommendations. I had the Cafe con Leche French Toast. Delicious! And the spicy Pineapple Under the Sea (?) drink. Check it out if you're in town and ask for Juan!

Iconic South Beach diner. You may see celebrities here. Casual contemporary menu. Attentive and friendly service. Full bar. I had the Ponzu glazed salmon and found it fresh and delicious. Excellent people watching location on Ocean Drive. Moderately priced.

Started with breakfast here on our first day. Somewhat pricey but then today we had lunch and more at a feasible rate.
The salmon and avocado omelette for breakfast is really great tho, no need to order carbonated water just, freakishly expensive water.
Location is good and easy to get to and from.
Food is really well made and the staff are friendly can highly recommend.

The food here is absolutely delicious. On top of the good food, our server Juan was AMAZING. Very attentive and wonderful costumer service skills. He made our experience at the News Cafe very enjoyable and we will be returning while we are still visiting the area!

TL;DR: Pretty standard beach-front breakfast place. Server was super attentive. Food was great.

General Comments: I don’t really understand why they are called “News” Cafe aside from branding.

My husband, Dalten, and I came here two days ago for brunch. After it being so good, we had to come back today as our final meal in Miami Beach before our flight! Best avocado toast and French toast we’ve EVER had. Also the fruit was so flavorful and amazing when dipped in the blueberry yogurt. The atmosphere is casual and relaxing. Juan was our server both days, and he is such a great server and person! He was so awesome the first day that we requested him the next day. He is always friendly and has a genuineness to him. We will definitely be back the next time we come to Miami Beach!

Meli my server was incredibly sweet & hospitable. I’ve been here many times before but she recommended the Mahi with Lemon Risotto & it was incredible! Fresh and zesty! News cafe is a classic iconic spot on Ocean Drive- great people watching too!

We had an amazing time here, the food is brilliant. The service Elena gave us was superb, she was friendly and gave great drink and food reccomendations.

This iconic Miami breakfast and lunch spot has been here forever. It's no wonder Gianni loved it so.
They did a renovation but the food, service and staff was fantastic.
A must if in the Sobe area.

The food was so great! If you go I hope you get Elmer G. he was wonderful attentive and had recommendations (: something can be said for great service and the food alone but that view was also hard to beat!

We were in Miami to celebrate the new 2024, so we couldn’t do it without stopping at South Beach. I use google to pick a spot and I’m so happy we end it up there. From the beautiful views, relaxing music, great service to delicious food, they got it all. We were greeted and seated right away by Juan, who for our luck end up serving us. Huge thank you to Juan for the great food/drink recommendations and awesome attitude ( even though he worked till late on New Year’s and was there on the 1st). He was very attentive but let us have our space and time to enjoy! We ordered Bellini & Bloody Mary - simple and tasty brunch drinks. As far as food I pick Benedict and my husband got chilaquiles. My eggs were cooked to perfection and the potatoes had the right seasoning and crispness. His was very tasty as well( just a friendly advice add some protein on top if you’re looking for more fulfilling meal). We would definitely be back when we travel to Miami !!! Keep up the great work, you deserve all the good reviews.
