The Loot Box

It’s a very cute little game shop with a super nice owner. I just started going there recently for Pokémon cards and she’s very generous on trade ins. Also every time I’m there we end up having very nice conversations.

i found myself looking through their Star Wars Legion items the other day when I suffered what I can only describe as the obvious end to a Hardee's breakfast combo. I asked to use the restroom to which the lady behind the counter graciously said 'yes'. As I went in the restroom i could feel a sense of impending doom,, coming from the deepest part of my soul. I sat down, knowing that all hell was going to break loose. I began to think of all the evil I have done and felt remorse, fore I knew that same evil was about to show it's face again. I prayed for someone to light the fires, for Gondor has called for aid. Then, like the majestic eagles flying over Mount Doom, I began to hear a voice, sent from above to sooth the beast. It was Richard Marx, sweetly singing 'Hold on to the night'. Prayers were answered, all was right in the world. 10/10. Would go again

Good setting, owners are nice and very welcoming. Still somewhat new store, but has a great selection of items! Definitely coming here more often

Newburgh needed a local game store and The Loot Box delivers. I love their selection of trading cards and have introduced board game loving friends to the store as well.

They had a good selection of DND and other rpg books

This is a great place for trading card games especially Pokémon. The staff is very friendly and welcoming.
