Tropical Smoothie Cafe

I was so disappointed after leaving my beloved Tropical Smoothie Cafe in Holland, Michigan to not have a Tropical Smoothie Cafe near us. This one was almost an hour away but I was in need of my Detox Island Green smoothie and Hawaiian BBQ Island Flatbread. I can't say how happy I was to see such nice folks working here too. Wayne was super duper nice and Kay was sweet. They had me out of there lickity split. Worth the trip for me. Now to head back. Haha

Great, real fruit smoothie. Great breakfast stuff too! Always a favor to myself when I go here.

Went to the one in Johnston and had a very nice experience. The smoothie was ok but the flatbread blew me away. Not to mention extremely competitive pricing

This is the best smoothie place in the area and the only one I'm aware of that makes smoothies based mostly on real fruit and vegetables instead of mixes and powders. Always very refreshing and fresh-tasting. After a few years of only going there for smoothies, I tried the flatbreads and wraps on a recent visit and was surprised by how good they were. The staff here have always been very friendly and patient. Only wish there was one in Bellevue.

I only recently discovered this place due to myself craving a really good smoothie and not having a Jamba Juice in the area. After a google search and suggestion by a friend, this placed popped up. During pick up, it was very busy for there were only 2 employees at the time. Even though it was quite a wait, they did an impressive job and were extremely friendly. The smoothie was huge and totally worth the price! I got 3 drinks with all extras and for about $20. Highly suggest this place to everyone!

Mrs. Kay & Mr. Wayne and their staff are such a pleasure!!! They make a great product, fast, and always friendly! I do hair across the way and they keep me fed & energized!!!!! 10 out of 10!!!! Thx you For treating me like family! Customer service is a dying art and y’all make it look fun again!!!! Absolutely love the product & staff!!!!

Their wraps and bowls are outstanding! My whole family is obsessed with them, along with their smoothies. We arent even vegetarians, but their hummus veggie wrap is so delicious that even my 11 yr old chooses it every time. Always excellent and friendly service! Best "fast food" out there....and so much healthier on top of that.

This place has excellent smoothies and excellent food.

They are a little on the high side for price, but they are also the Mercedes of smoothies so it is worth it to me.

Another great thing about this place is their food is on the healthy side so you can feel safe eating here without the worry of fast-food calories and contaminants.

I highly recommend this place.

People who work here are very nice. Food is fresh, presented well, and in good portion sizes. The pomegranate plunge smoothie was well blended and not overly sweet. It didn't taste like fruit syrup either. Definitely recommend this place for yummy healthy food. And the prices are reasonable.

The customer service here deserves more than five stars. Being my first time here I didn’t quite know what I wanted and the employee helping me, I believe he said his name was Connor, was extremely helpful. He took his time to explain what was popular and what he personally liked which made it easier for me to choose. I definitely will be coming back and will keep coming back for more in the future!

I would like to take a minute to compliment one of the best restaurants in this area. Tropical really offers a great family environment, it's fun and upbeat. They are indeed a sit down restaurant, although the food is made to order very quickly!
My family and I love going because it is so healthy, it is the same price as any fast food chain, made in roughy the same amount of time, but the quality of food is unsurpassed. They use real fruit in their smoothies, and I know first hand a lot of other places don't.
The staff is some of the best I've ever seen - they're always very friendly!

I absolutely love ordering from here besides it’s literally 2-3 min away from my job here at the bank. The owner is absolutely welcoming, friendly, sweet & very professional! The food quality is fantastic! You can never go wrong with this place!!!

I got a smoothie after dental surgery. The lady at the counter went out of her way to make sure I could drink the smoothie by asking me how thick I wanted it and then adapting the drink lid so I could easily drink the smoothie without a straw. Wonderful customer service.

Staff was pretty humorous. The food is so good, smoothies are solid, too! Location is kind of hidden off the path at Shadowlake, but during their great events, it's center stage north! Make sure you plan to eat there!

Mrs. Kay makes you feel welcomed and made our drinks super quick and deliciuos. It was our first time there and Mrs. Kay took the time to answer our questions and even recomended us drinks. My husband and I could definetly tell that it was real fruits being used in our smoothie. We will definetly be coming back for more.

Great smoothies! Ingredients are fresh and the drinks are made on the spot. The only way it could be better is if I made it myself. Service is fantastic, friendly and courteous - I genuinely feel welcome.

Extremely good food, amazing shakes (Mocha Madness is INCREDIBLE), and surprisingly affordable prIces. And they didn't bat an eye that my service dog was with me. Definitely going to be a regular for us!

The staff here are super friendly! Right from when I walk in to when I leave the store. I didn't know want but told them I was feeling something refreshing, and they directed me to something totally spot on! Love this location and will definitely recommend this to anyone I know.
