Tropical Smoothie Cafe

I like this place. Staff are super friendly (give them a raise), and one reason I’ll return. I like friendly people! Tried one of their smoothies for lunch, delicious, healthy and reasonably priced. Looks like they have a large variety of things to eat also. Sandwiches and salads, flat breads and quesadillas. I walk by here all the time, my first time stopping, and the drive-thru is always busy. A good sign that people are coming back. Easy to access off Michigan is a plus. Parking in the back is also easy.

Always a reliable spot for smoothies and wraps. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a healthy spot that is easily available.

I have never written a review before but just have to right now. I have had such an overwhelming day at work and was so completely burnt out I couldn't function. I still had 2.5 hours to go but was heading to another location so I decided to treat myself to tropical smoothie. So i order in the drive thru and pull up to the window and realize I left my purse at work. So I ask them to just cancel that order and I'll just order it on the app since they made i already, and tell them I'll come inside so I don't hold up a line. So I go to pay on my phone and somehow my card info that's always been saved on the app is gone. So I call my husband and ask him for his debit card info to put into my app, and he does. And then it tells me I can't order because they're closed (they obviously weren't). SO i go inside and let them know and ask if their mobile ordering is down and apologize for being such a hassle, and they just smile at me and told me to just take it for free and enjoy. I couldn't believe it. Such a small act of kindness but made such a big difference. So already on the verge of tears from frustration and exhaustion, I walk out of the store crying, but tears of joy instead. Thank you so much!!!

They are AMAZING here! A large group of us ate a couple of weeks ago and it was wonderful! Good food, great service, tasty smoothies, incredible staff and owner. Everyone loved it and is still talking about it. Quality food made with care. A new favorite!

Today I was starving and wanted turkey bacon but in a wrap instead of bread. The talented great staff took on the request and made it soo good! Should be on the menu ;)

Wow! This downtown location is phenomenal! It’s beautiful and CLEAN!!! We had a function there last month and the owner, Heather, was so accommodating to our needs! She went above and beyond our expectations. The smoothies were amazing and the portion size was great! Definitely a lunchtime stop as well! Try it out soon! They even have a drive-thru! 🙌🏼

My wife is a hospital down the road from tropical smoothie cafe on Michigan Ave in Grand Rapids. I stop in to try I breakfast wrap that I've been hearing about, everything went smoothly and the Wrap we unbelievable. The young lady at the window was named Marisa very polite. Great experience ! Be sure a return visit.

Yesterday was my first time here and definitely wont be my last!!! the staff members was so helpful with helping me decide what to order. There smoothies was very tasty and great for the price!! i will definitely recommend to others whos looking for something quick and tasty!!

Great smoothies. I recommend better signage for your drive-thru. It is nearly impossible to find the entrance because there is no sign.

This Tropical Smoothie is A+! The owner is amazing and you can tell that her staff love her and what her philosophy is all about...having fun, while creating great food for our community. Not only are the smoothies awesome, but the food is so yummy!

The workers are very quick and also very patient. They are helpful when recommending good drinks or good food. I was very pleased with my trip to this location. It Is by far the best location of Tropical Smoothie that I have been to.

1st time experience though I've seen this chain many times. T-Rex Huge! plus that this location has a drive-thru. 'Twas a sunday during dinner rush n drive thru was 5 cars deep. Line went faster than most McDonalds for sure. Excellent fresh/healthy/hot/smoothie was good. I'll mod it more next time. Super friendly service. Wish this chain had a drive thru where i live in Detroit

I have been to this location several times since they opened and it was extremely long wait times, but not today!!! There were 4 cars in front of me, and I was expecting a long wait time, but I ordered and received my food within 15 minutes. Very pleased!!! Thank you!!!

Every time I stop here, the everyone is so nice. I like to try new stuff when I go, and they're so patient with my scattered brain being distracted by all the delicious food I already know will taste great. Cannot recommend them enough. Great food, great team, great atmosphere. Thanks!

This is and will always be one of my favorites. EVERY TIME- Chipotle chicken flat bread with a Bahama mama..... 👌👌👌 Great service, great food.
