MOLDOVA EUROPEAN FOOD MARKET

The prices are reasonable, and the variety of groceries is carefully selected so it is very good for a small shop! We found almost everything we were after. There is a nice set of Moldova and Georgian wines. It's such a wonderful grocery shop.

This is a great store and worth the visit for all looking for European staples to help feel at home!

To start, the staff are always friendly and helpful. If they do not have it, they try to help you find a similar item. The selection here is excellent with lots of great, fresh European groceries at very reasonable prices. If you love cold cuts especially, the selection here is hard to beat. There is also a great selection of Eastern European chocolates, which if you're like me, are a great alternative to the sweeter Western/Central European chocolates without being too bitter like dark chocolates.

Moldova is a beautifully clean, friendly food market, with a wide variety of options. I would even say upscale! Compared to most other specialty/ethnic food markets I’ve encountered I feel confident in saying so. The owners are very kind and helpful. They don’t carry the typical grocery store inventory. The shop is focused on European and Eastern European products that are truly delicious and enjoyable. If you’re not sure what something is or how to use it, Alexi and his wife are always available for an answer or suggestions. They have a very impressive selection of cured/dried sausages, cold cuts, hams, and a great diversity of cheeses! Not to forget to mention their wide selections of frozen foods, both sweet and savory. Fresh and frozen European breads, cookies, candles and a plethora of other goodies. The pickled foods are unique and delicious. Honestly I could go on and on, but please treat yourself to a wonderful experience shopping at Moldova. You will be amazed!
I forgot to mention that they also offer a variety of wine now, with wine tastings on the weekend. You can’t go wrong!

I just saw this place and decided to have a look. It is well organized and seems to have a great selection of things you can’t find otherwise in the area. I picked up a couple treats for the family and everyone was happy. I plan to explore more options in the near future, and am very satisfied to come across this market.

Love this place! Lots of unique options. Also, they always have ladyfingers for tiramisu. Go to shop for beer and unique wines. They also have a ton of chocolate you can buy by the pound.

Most of everything you crave as an Eastern European you can find it here. I was delighted to find some holiday comfort foods I grew up with. Poppy seed roll, sauerkraut for sarmale and a variety of pickled veggies.

Visited today. This place is awesome!! Very friendly. They have an awesome European beer selection!! Please go check it out and support a small business!!

Enjoyed the Fanta drink and the chocolate bar. Also got some fish from there and it was awesome.

The best store of European food you can possibly find in Fredericksburg / Stafford/ Woodbridge areas!

Great market and very nice owners. Very helpful. The store was organized and so clean. We no longer have to drive to Vienna for kielbasa, sauerkraut, pierogi, cheeses and jams. A great local addition to the area for many types of European foods. We will be back.

This market is so good they have such a great selection! We enjoyed the food tasting so much everything was delicious. We got a variety of things but the kielbasa, pierogies and cheese were my favorite. We’ll definitely be back!

My family loves this place. They offer great European treats that are hard to find locally. The staff are amazing people and really helpful.

Moldova European Food Market brought back many memories of our time living in Europe! There is a wide variety of food items that cannot be found anywhere else in the Stafford area (probably beyond)! We got pastries, candies, olive oil, eggplant salad, kalabasa, Belgian chocolates, and more! There is a wide variety of meats, cheeses, perogies, cakes too! Support small businesses!

Come for a taste testing. The owner is a wealth of knowledge. The store has plenty of flavors from around the world.

This place has it all! Amazing selection of Russian food at very reasonable pricing. So happy this place opened up! Will be a regular customer for sure.
