The Clothes Tree was an absolutely wonderful place to find my dress for prom! David and Mandy were so helpful and helped me find THE dress! They don’t rush you or pressure you in deciding, you get a designated room to try on, and their dresses are separated by rooms so if you love a pink dress, they’ll take you there first! They have a wide range of sizes, dress options, and are willing to order something if you can’t find it. The employees are personable and welcoming, and I felt like they want the best dress for everyone. It was an absolutely wonderful experience!

David spent 5 hours with me to find the perfect Mardi Gras ball gown!! He never made me feel like he was ready for me to leave 😂 It definitely felt like a VIP shopping excursion. Plus he’s sweet and funny and EXTREMELY helpful. This is officially my favorite place to find formal wear and the selection is huge and amazing!

My daughter prom dress was everything!!!! alot of people thought it was a custom dress. The staff was patient and so nice. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

This store is amazing!! They really did make my dreams come through!! I live in Charlotte, NC and found a mother of the bride dress that I was in love with at a local store. Unfortunately, the local store told me that they could not order the dress in my color and size because it wouldn’t be in for my daughter’s wedding. I called Deborah at the Clothes Tree because they were listed on the Jovani website as a premium dealer to see if by chance she had the dress in stock. They did not, but Deborah understood how much this dress meant to me and she “made magic happen” and got me the dress I wanted. She went above and beyond to make my dreams come true!!!! I am beyond appreciative and grateful. I would highly recommend this bridal salon.

My sister-in-law needed a dress for her daughter's upcoming July wedding. She had shopped everywhere and had come up short and was discouraged. I met her at The Clothes Tree and what a fantastic experience it was! Mandy was so helpful and encouraging. She alone is reason to shop here! She could not have been more patient or helpful and gave us her undivided attention. My sister-in-law tried on about 40 dresses. The selection at this store is amazing and vast. A couple of the dresses she tried on were from the clearance rack that were marked down 80%. She tried on dresses up to almost $1000. Mandy and the other girl who was helping other customers both agreed that one of the dresses from the clearance rack was best suited for her. It was true and we were both so impressed that they weren't just interested in making the most money they could but were honest about which dress looked the best on her. It was the best dress shopping experience either of us had ever experienced. I highly recommend this shop to anyone in need of a formal dress and I plan to go there when my daughter gets engaged to find my own MOB dress. How have I missed this treasure all these years?!

After seeing my dream reception dress on their Instagram, it never left my head. Lucky me, i came in a month later to shop and the sweet girl who worked there found it for me!! Just my size. My mother found a beautiful dress while there as well. Will definitely be back!!! Wonderful experience.

Outstanding selection of women's formal wear, exceptional service from Mandy. A 5-star experience from the time we entered. We bought a beautiful formal dress for attending an August wedding. Forget Saks, Macy's, Belks, etc. Make Clothes Tree your first stop.

The staff was super friendly & helpful even though they were extremely busy. They have a huge selection of formal dresses including plus sizes!

She has a very wide variety of beautiful dresses and accessories. The staff is helpful and polite. And has very small sizes 0 and 00 in all prom pageant style dresses I get all my dresses there.

This is a hidden gem. I can not express how awesome this place is. They are a consignment shop, however, if you are wanting to have them purchase your items.. You'll want to make an appointment asap, as they are usually booked solid a few weeks out. If you're just wanting to shop however, check them out! The store appears small (as it's in a shopping center), however, it's much larger and will offer you hundreds of gently used items too glance through. They are currently (to my knowledge) selling women's, men's, and a small amount of children's clothing, shoes, and accessories. This place is fun, so plan on allowing yourself extra time so you can really look around!!

We had the best experience at The Clothes Tree. So many selections. Jamie was extremely attentive, knowledgeable and kind. We will definitely shop there in the future.

Mr. Tiemann, I am not sure what you mean by a typical consignment shop? I did not realize Birmingham was full of shops like this one. I am taking it this is what you mean by typical?

Do not listen to Mr. Tiemann, this is a fabulous place to shop and the experience is as good as it gets!!! The merchandise is not cheap (I do agree), but the quality of the merchandise and the extraordinary service that is offered every single time you walk in the shop is not touched in the state of Alabama! I promise you!!!!!!
