My husband and I rented bikes here and this place is the best of the best! Scott took such great care of us, along with the other workers! Great selection and customer service. Highly recommend!

Absolute nicest staff. They were so helpful in setting up our rentals, made sure the bikes were ready to go and gave us a rundown of the trails. They are very knowledgeable. The bikes are in great condition and well taken care of.

Super friendly! We rented ebikes for our group, and Ben & Scott helped out a ton with good advice and wonderful service.

The place is hard to find, though. Drive past the "no outlet, no turnaround" sign, head down the gravel road, and turn left at the kiosk.

Great service from Scott and Ben. Rented a Giant Trance X and it was setup perfectly for me. Also got good advice about how to explore the trail system. Will definitely come back when in the area again.

Great little bike shop with an awesome crew, I stopped in while visiting the smokies from VA and got the full run down on the trail system. I was pleasantly surprised by the shop and the trails, thanks guys! Keep killing it!

Townsend is such a great biking destination! Road and Gravel bikes on the Old Walland Highway, Tremont Institute Road, Rich Mountain Road into the Cades Cove loop, and the Townsend Greenway. And the "new" Vee Hollow Mountain bike trails are amazing. What was missing was a great bike shop!

Not any more. I took my full suspension mountain bike in and they dialed it in perfectly (Ben is an exceptional mechanic with loads of experience and instinct). I took my wife and my road bikes in for tune-ups and minor repair, but they also fixed something on my wife's mountain bike that another shop couldn't get right after two tries - way to go Ben! So I think its definitely worth taking your bike to them, even if you have to drive a bit to get there.

Bonus: They have such a cool vibe too... there was always a fire stoked in the fire pit and good conversation going with other riders about epic rides. This place is an authentic bike experience... nothing fake or gimmicky. You're talking to experienced riders who know their bikes and their gear. Sorta like the secret bike shop in Moab that the locals go to.

While saddling up for several rides over the last year, I noticed that Scott and Ben also do a tremendous job of making sure everyone gets the right fit, on the right rental bike (eBike, Mountain or gravel). I saw quality rental options, clearly curated by an expert. I've also watched them guide riders into the right trails - based on the conditions of the day, the bike they were riding and their skill level.

UPDATE: They just opened up a new location next to Company Distilling (on the river in Townsend)... which is pretty cool. The new shop is still pretty close to the Vee Hollow trailhead. Townsend is such a great place to ride hard, and then treat yourself to a solid carb reload, chased down by a local brew... I like Company Distilling, the Abbey, or the Peaceful Side Social... but Burger Master is literally spitting distance from the bridge to the trailhead (w/ burger/shakes/fires). Tip, tube the river after a hot day of riding...

The bike trails were good, but it had rained the night before making them kinda slick. Which, when we stopped at the bike shop to register, he had warned that they would be. Lots of hard work was put into the trails.

Rented 2 Giant e-bikes and a Trek Ebike to ride in Cades Cove. Nice people and close location to park entrance. Bikes in excellent condition too !

So had a little accident and messed up my bike this guy was the best only took him a few and a new part and back to riding we went thanks for all the help and price was great
