I've been to this location many times since I lived so close to it. Never had a bad experience. Today though, I had the best experience. I had a really rough day today. My daughter was so sweet and patient throughout it all today. So I wanted to reward her with some ice cream. We picked out some and went to pay. My Gpay was declining the charge despite there being money. I was prepared to leave in defeat when the sweet cashier (whose name I forgot to get) paid for the ice cream not knowing how bad my day had been. Her sweet gesture entirely made my day. I literally almost cried on the way home. Thank you to that sweet cashier, you deserve a raise for being such a compassionate human.

If you like to feel like a special shopper then Food Lion is the store with personal service, low prices, fresh produce and meats .

My Daughter loves Food Lion because they have the little kid carts, and now she can go shopping with Daddy! It is a great way to see things in real time and to do it themselves.
The employees at this location have always been so incredibly nice and helpful. We stop here about once a week and will continue to do so. Always stocked the best they can and they just have a great team!

Upon closing time within 2 minutes to close, I was overwhelmed trying to find my last item, while doing instacart. Two employees in customer service whom I will not describe, refused to help. George came over and helped me right away, and assisted me in finding my item in 1 minute. George solved this minor issue in a kind, professional manner, and I was relieved to receive the help I needed, as well as asked for. Thank you George, you deserve the credit. You did an excellent Job helping me when your Colleagues wouldn't!!! 👍 👍 👍

Have always loved the Food Kitty as I grew up calling it. This very store, I was there for the grand opening and was an office supervisor with 30+ cashiers under me that I was watching over. I did my training at another store as they were finishing the final build structurally. I helped set up the store with shelving and putting the products on them in their correct labeled spot. This job is what gave me the drive to be in management or higher in any job I decided to chase! One of the best jobs I ever had!

Nice people and great savings

This is the Food Lion grocery store located on 521 on the west hand side of the road it is the anchor store for this little strip mall shopping center.

Employees are basically friendly, stores neat and clean and well organized and seems very well stocked even in times when other stores look ransacked and in disarray this one usually looks very well kept and very well organized.

Although this is a smaller of the Food Lions the deli counter is much smaller than others and the meat section is smaller it still has a very good variety unless you need something on bowl and specific other than that this is the perfect store to go shopping at as it's usually less crowded than most of the other ones down the same stretch of highway.

They have a great wine selection!

My go to grocery store! Always friendly faces and have the best prices compared to other surrounding stores and the quality is always great. Love my MVP card and rewards that come with it.

The shopping experience is good. I think my grandson enjoyed it as well. He was able to ride in the driving buggy. The cashier was very friendly!

Jessica had ready my curbside order super fast ( like in 20 minutes, that was 5 hours early that expected), she is very helpful and kind. Best experience buying groceries online. Thanks

Food Lion is always stocked, easy to get around. They don't have employees pushing large carts shopping for people like other stores. I am tired of getting ran over or not able to get around those big totes other stores are using for online shopping. Food Lion always has lane's open and friendly cashiers waiting to help. They have different colored bags for cold food vs non-perishable. Plus, they have good prices and great sales

The store is always clean and nearly stocked. Sometimes they can't get things in, usually you can find a replacement. The associates are friendly and helpful.

Great location. When I get off from work I can get in and out in good time,even during rush hour. The staff is friendly. A Clean well managed store.

The guy in meat department is so nice & helpful to me . He akways gives me good tips about the meat and is a great asset to that Foid Lion store. Also the people are very nice there too ! I'm alot happier shopping there now . ☺

We had lunch special, which they have regularly. 1st visit, very impressive food was totally delicious. Beef done to perfectioc, soup very tasty. Also came w rice and plantations. Atmosphere friendly, all of them personality A+++++
