Area 51

Great looking place! They were in the process of expanding. Honestly we're looking for an excuse to head back it's our kind of store. There were board games, fun licensed merchandise, collectible card games, so much cool stuff! Friendly staff too.

My favorite store! Area 51 has something for everyone. They have a great selection of toys, collectibles, table top games, and trading cards. The staff is always friendly and inviting, and they’re knowledgeable about the products. If you’re in the Cortland area, stop by and check it out. You won’t be disappointed!

Area 51 was an amazing spot back in the Clock Tower days and it's exciting that they are back as one of my neighbors at the Cortland Corset Building! My niece loves what they have in games and gets the same hair dye I used back in the day. Good vibes and fun stuff!

Not only can I keep stocked up on manic panic (not available anywhere else in Cortland) but Iv gotten my D&D supplies and custom fanny packs made for my work! If you love table top games and anything nerd this is the spot. Fran is so accommodating and knowledgeable about the things he sells. I cant recommend a business more! 5⭐ x 💯

I make it a point to visit Area 51 at least once a month. The likelihood rises if I'm hosting visitors from out of town. Every member of staff I've met is pleasant and helpful. They all seem very excited about the store's future plans. As am I.

The staff are very engaging and the environment is well organized with a wide variety of things to catch your interest. I look forward to a day where there is space to hangout and spend time similar to the older stores. Well done to the Crowe crew! Very happy to have this corner stone of the cortland culture back!

Had a good selection of DnD related products! They also have multiple other things (board games, 3d printed items, knives and other nerd adjacent items). Friendly staff and clean location.

Fran and crew have a great range of stuff - games, kitsch, and pop culture across the board. Even stopping in to browse can end up as the best conversation of your day...

Super friendly staff. Huge selection of tabletop games and geek merchandise. New items are constantly added so everytime you go in there is more to see.

Every visit to Area 51 is a pleasure for me; staff are knowledgeable and friendly. I never leave empty handed.

Some of the nicest custom products I’ve ever gotten came from here. There’s also a great selection of games and other fun novelties.

This place something for EVERY FLAVOR OF NERD! I love the 3D prints, my SO loves the D&D section, my son loves the weapons, and my daughter loves the Pokémon cards and Squishmallows!
