A great happy hour experience, will definitely be back!

Their HH specials are spectacular, $8 specialty cocktails (reg $17)! They also have great apps, we got an order of butter chicken loaded fries for $8 that were flavorful and indulgent, and a really good portion!

Service was also great, the person who served us was extremely friendly and eager to provide recommendations. Both my partner and I find most cocktails to be too sweet, and she was quick to offer to make the cocktails to our liking.

Food came out quick and drinks were good, we left satisfied and happy!

Definitely come here for the happy hour food and drink specials! I was delighted to get to try so many different kinds of Indian dishes with a unique twist! We really enjoyed our experience here especially because of the friendly people who served us above and beyond! I’ll be telling all my friends to eat here and I will be coming back again and again to try all their menus!

I would have given Rang by Chef Abhishek a 10 if possible. After seeing a review on IG, I brought the family here and the experience was extraordinary. We started with the Achari mushrooms which were delicious but I didn’t really like the tenderness of the mushrooms.

We then had the Pav Bhaji which was delicious and perfectly spiced. My youngest enjoyed it so much she wanted more for the main course.

The samosas were so good I ordered another plate and I’m contemplating ordering a 3rd and 4th plate to take home. Perfectly cooked with a tasty filling and flaky, crispy crust.

Next came the chipotle paneer tikka. My god! Delicious! Try the burnt edge after cleansing your palette and it will blow your mind.

We had the tikka tasting which was also delectable.

Main course was baingan bharta which isn’t on the menu but they made it for us anyway. We also had the butter chicken and chicken biryani which was also go. I would have ate more but I was stuffed.

The whole time we were here, the people walking by were commenting on how delicious the food smelled. It tasted even better.

You will truly enjoy your visit here. Make reservations in advanced because the eatery is small but outdoor seating is available.

You will definitely enjoy this place.

Rang in Long Island City offers an exceptional dining experience. Their diverse menu showcases authentic Indian cuisine, from fragrant biryanis to succulent tandoori specialties. With impeccable service and a stylish ambiance, Rang is perfect for any occasion. Special commendation to the attentive server/barista who made our experience truly memorable. Highly recommended!

need a little spice each day, everyday, especially weekdays here in new york. I found this modern Indian cuisine in LIC. I feel surrounded with creamy, buttery, abundant spices, and layers of complicity... and yes with fluffy rice📍Rang has awaken my taste buds. The healthy choices: truffle cashews butter cauliflower and Market Greens Paneer. Tastes great and I even invented a newer eating serve with lettuce.

The restaurant is cute and with a bar. Hanging out with friends in weekends with their menu “small bites” and cocktails is on my agenda. I’m also impressed their staffs which are super attentive and fun! Thanks so much Keyshla!

One of my new favorite spots in LIC - tucked away from the busy spots, it’s well worth a trip up here. The food is absolutely delicious as are the cocktails. The small plates really hit the spot for happy hour. The place is small but intimate. Looking forward to coming back soon and trying out a few more options!

Amazing place with delicious food and incredible service! We came by on a weekday evening

We got

Shrimp Bayani and Chicken tomatoes curry. And some Pomegranate cocktail but not have a name yet. It’s 10/10.

This is a forbidden gem in this area.

Went here for happy hour and had an awesome experience! The food was tasty and portions were great, especially considering the happy hour prices. The Rang de Basanti specialty cocktail was yum - wish I tried a few more of the cocktails. The indoor seating space is small but it felt cozy. The service was friendly and warm. The kitchen was trying out a new brunch menu so we got to sample some idlis on the house! Overall really loved this place and definitely want to come back soon!

This place is super fun and tasty. Had never been but read about it on Reddit and it’s in walking distance. The size of a closet (maybe 14 stools?).

Amazing Happy Hour deals, we got two excellent cocktails for 8 bucks each that were unique to the restaurant. Truffle Chicken Korma was delicious and flavorful and samosa chaat was addictive.

My only complaint is they were running out of food when I was there on a Friday because a group of regulars were having a birthday party and kept buying everything. Good problem for a tiny restaurant to have.

A modern take on Indian dishes. Try the goat biryani, chili chicken bao buns and mango lassi. The manager is super friendly and provides the best service.

A great spot to check out! Very limited seating and honestly my only critique is that the chairs were unstable. Other than that you cannot go wrong here, the food is rich of flavor! And great service too! Definitely recommend.

Amazing Indian environment with authentic selections, and portions are plentiful for two college students. yeah thought the less spice good for me, maybe not so much so for native passerbys. 😀 paneer beetroot and Tikki Masala

Great addition to the neighborhood! My husband and I ate here for the first time last night and everything was delicious. Service was also excellent. Had the Rang de Basanti cocktail (spicy & amazing), Lasuni Gobi appetizer, butter chicken, vegetable biriyani, & garlic naan. Can’t wait to return and make this one of our regular spots!

Really enjoyed our experience at Rang! Food was absolutely delicious and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. It’s a small whole in the wall so def make a reservation before you go, even though bar seating is always fun 🤩 must try their chicken biryani !

We had a great time dining in. We sat at the bar (Rang is a small hole in the wall with just a few tables and a bar) and ordered the Eggplant Bharta which was absolutely delicious! The staff was super helpful and friendly. We’ll surely be back soon.

It's a beautiful outlet, great for takeaways during regular working hours. While indoor seating is limited, there's lot of open park style seating next door.
Food is awesomely good, especially green paneer, basically Indian cottage cheese in spinach saag.

Had their lunch special - Fresh Market Greens with Panner (Saag). Tasty, fresh and a little spicy. Good value and fast service. Would definitely come back for their full dinner menu.
