Absolutely THE premier place to get your wine in Birmingham and surrounding areas! I have never had an experience like this while searching for wine. The attention I received was impressive as well as their knowledge of the products. I enter unsure of what I needed, I had an idea. With just a few questions they had exactly what I needed. As soon as I opened the bottle I knew they hadn’t steered me wrong! The wine was exceptional and exactly what I had envisioned. Thank you for being such a blessing! Quaint little shop with hidden gems of wine you can’t find just anywhere. I was looking for a specific Ice Wine as a gift, and I had searched everywhere, until a lady at World Market told me about The Vintage Wine Shoppe. They offer everything you would need or ask for to enjoy a favorite, or if you throw your own little tasting event. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. I enjoyed everything from the time I walk until I left. I will be back. Wonderful experience!

Best place to buy Wine in Alabama. The staff here are incredibly knowledgeable about everything they sell, so don't be shy to ask for recommendations. They are always glad to answer any questions you have, and I always come away with excellent new things to try while spending much less than I would have elsewhere.

I tend to spend $12-30 per bottle for good wine, and I like to try new things each time while returning for old favorites. They have selections here for all price ranges, from lliterally all regions and styles, and I guarantee they will have something special for you. Like me, you will find yourself going back many times, for the selection and the expertise.

Greg, Patti and the guys at Vintage are the best. I make the “pilgrimage” to Birmingham several times per year to buy wine from them and are never disappointed. This place is great! The wine place I usually go to (used to go to?) doesn’t offer online ordering so I went searching for one that does, as I have a high risk family member and try to avoid exposure. I was able to mix & match a couple cases worth, all while shopping from home. Their communication was great after placing my order regarding a couple out of stock items. And then they even brought my order out to my car when I got there so I wouldn’t have to go in. Very convenient. And I’m very excited about all my great finds, as they had a really good selection to choose from! All around five stars!

Gerald and Patti are knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. From Merlot to Chardonnay, they have the best selection of wine in town. On the very rare occasion they don't have a particular wine, they will try to order it for you. Always worth dropping in here instead of buying wine at the supermarket.

Super cool store, tons of variety. They have events with local wine reps, where you can taste various bottles and experiment a little. The cellar room is a treasure trove, too, and top of all that praise, everyone who works there is *really nice*.

Great wine selection and nice collection of gifts. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Some items are overpriced, but they also have sales and discounts fairly regularly.

Advice is friendly and helpful. The staff is not condescending. Suggestions are not expensive unless you specifically ask for something expensive. Vintage also has a cellar with very special selections.
