Walmart Pharmacy

These people are the best!! Very very nice and helpful. I will always use them as my pharmacy!

I am in town for a few weeks and to travel home isn't a option. The pharmacy staff was absolutely amazing, courteous, professional and very helpful. Everyone went above and beyond to get my prescriptions filled. I'm so sorry that I didn't remember your names. I would highly recommend this pharmacy. Oh another thing, they all talked, bs'ed and laughed with me like I was a regular customer. If I am ever in the area and need their services I will definitely use them. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable, I live in farminton and don’t mind the drive.

Just a quick update to include pharmacist Lonnie. We have received vaccine shots from Lonnie, and he is just as personable and helpful as Jessica. He recently saved me a ton of money by using Good RX (with my asking him to check it out) when my insurance wouldn't pay for a particular prescription. Talk about great customer care service!

Original Post: This review is long over due. A huge shout out to pharmacist Jessica. This wasn't my primary pharmacy until Jessica came along. Jessica makes this pharmacy feel like a small town pharmacy instead of a big box store. She remembers your face, and after a few visits, even your name. She goes above and beyond by checking your history to see when you are due for vaccines (tetanus, pneumonia, etc). My husband and I now even get our vaccine shots done here, as long as Jessica is working, which is something we've never done at a pharmacy before. No matter how busy the pharmacy is, Jessica always has time for you, and makes you fee like you are her number one customer, all the while still doing her job efficiently. I've never had a bad experience at this pharmacy before, (on the same token, nothing extraordinary ever happened nor did any employee stand out either), but since she started working here, it just seems like everyone else here is just as friendly and at the top of their game. This is a very busy pharmacy, but it is well staffed with friendly and knowledgeable pharmacists and techs. I used to use this pharmacy only to pickup sinus pills (behind the counter) and maybe an occasional prescription. I'm not sure when Jessica started working here, but I slowly started using this pharmacy more and more about a year ago, and now I use it exclusively thanks to her kind, observant, friendly, and knowledgeable mannerisms. Walmart is extremely lucky to have her and I hope they keep her for a long time.

Got my Daughter’s covid vaccine here. I was a little late for the appointment, but they took us anyways. Clean pharmacy & kind pharmacist.

Normally the Inver Grove Heights pharmacy goes above and beyond, but lately they have been declining in customer service. I don't know why, but I do know it's unfortunate. I needed a refill so I reached out to my doctor's office. I did so a month in advance so I would not go without when I needed it My doctor called in the prescription on Nov 20th. I was told from the pharmacy there was an issue on Nov 24th. I reached out to my doctor's office on the 24th. Doctor told me they contacted the pharmacy and everything is good to go now. I specifically asked if I needed to do anything else and the doctors office told me no that the prescription was accepted at the pharmacy. I felt like it was taking a long time, but I stayed patient until I reached out to the pharmacy on Dec. 8th. That is when I was told my prescription would not be ready when I need it because they didn't realize it was sitting in queue and needed another authorization. I asked why they did not realize that and I was told it was their mistake and they apologized. Apologies are fine, but now I'm sitting without my needed dosage and it is no fault of mine. So I asked when I could expect it being filled and she said "Honestly I'm not sure. These things take a while". So I pointed out that I started this process early so something like this would not happen and she said "I know this is our fault." Again I am all for the blame being accepted, but that does not give me the medication that I need. Fortunately my medication isn't life or death, but what would've happened if it was?

I will never shop at this Walmart every again. Idiot workers.
