I just left this store and wanted to say that the man working in the shoe department deserves a raise! The way he handled a super demanding woman who insisted on him being her personal shopper was very professional. I was shocked at her demands, like she was the only one in the store. He very politely helped her and went above and beyond to meet her needs.

The other day I walked into this Big 5 store and I was looking for some sort of self defense tool for my son who has been receiving some violent messages through his social media apps. I have been worried sick for his safety, so I thought I’d see what Big 5 has on hand that may help ease my anxiety. The store was very quiet surprisingly and I was met at the front by an employee named Dylan. I told him my sons situation and if there might be anything I could purchase that might make me feel better about my sons safety. He showed me some pepper spray which was something I had considered, but it was nice to hear a more knowledgeable person talk to me about it. As we were looking through some more options, he told me about a situation that he himself had been through. I really appreciated that he shared that with me as I felt a lot more calmer knowing I was talking to someone who truly understood what my son was going through. Really great customer service!

I went there to find propane gas cylinder for camping. Dylan at the cashier desk was very nice and helpful. He checked inventory and found out that it was out of stock. He then called two other big 5 locations to check for me. I highly recommend this store if you ever need any outdoor and sporting goods. Their customer service is top notch 👍

I have had nothing but good experiences at the Big 5 in Redmond. I get their daily email with Specials, in glance at it. ( I always read reviews if it's something I'm interested in that is new to me). If I want a pair of shoes for my grandson, or a sports item or wading pool, etc., I can call them and they will have it waiting for me at the front desk. Very nice and helpful people, and good prices on many outdoor items.

Omg there is so much in such a small store. The staff are so friendly and helpful! I did not get his name but he's dark hair thin guy from Texas, and loves it here. He was so helpful and personable I told my son and he went in and is fully satisfied with his purchases also! The other staff member young with dishwater blond hair he was also so nice and helpful!!! We found a great place to shop.

They were one of the few stores with home exercise equipment during the pandemic and the staff is helpful. I bought some items back in April 2020 and lost my receipt. I called the store almost a year later and Joe helped me out by taking the time to dig up the receipt and sending it to me upon request.

This is a little gem of a sports store, almost forgot it was here. Popped in for some soccer shoes and while selection was limited they had some good choices at various prices. It's an eclectic layout mind you, but that adds to the charm.

Stacy is the owner and a super talented stylist and colorist. She keeps my hair looking fresh, attend shows to keep up with her craft, so she knows the latest trends. I highly recommend her sombre baliage technique, I get compliments on mine all the time.
