Hi my name is Dennis, I am a new patient of Dr Mark Hong , he was referred to me by my good neighbor Dado a wonderful person, I came to see Dr Hong about my enlarge prostate and trouble urinating, after he did a examination and test to determine what he could do for me he recommended Green light laser therapy, I went ahead with it, after a week wearing the catheter I took it out , I was so happy 😃 with the results urinating was so easy a huge improvement almost 100% very little bleeding very little pain I took Tylenol when needed, Dr Hong is the Messiah of urology believe me it’s true. I highly recommend Dr Hong for prostate, bladder problems, cancer etc. Thanks Dr Hong your the best and so are your staff they are terrific young and experienced lady’s 🥰

Dr. Hong is thorough, professional and affable. He explains everything and makes sure I understand. He takes into consideration what I want and he wears very cool bow ties. He is very knowledgeable and up to date. Great doctor and his staff is terrific.

Dr. Hong was great in every way. His staff and office was as nice and clean as you can get. Everyone was very friendly and professional. Went in for a consultation and procedure and it could not have gone any better.

One of the best ever appointments and I’m old. Dr Hong is thorough, knowledgable, and extremely pleasant. He did not rush, he listened, I felt like he was interested. The blood draw was easiest ever! Procedures and time lines were explained by the MA and the receptionist was friendly, no irritation, or rushing with paperwork-the appointment was excellent overall, I haven’t been able to say that for awhile. I’ve Been in and out of so many offices with my husband the last 3 years I am experienced!

Dr. Hong number one is on time. No sitting in the waiting room waiting for your appointment.
Dr. Hong actually has bedside manor. He is very specific with what your options are. It is very clear. It’s your decision to make what you’re plan is.

Dr. Hong is great urologist very aware of your needs. He treats you with care and respect. He has a personal approach in explaining the treatment you'll receive.

Dr. Hong is the best of the best and I am so relieved to have been referred to him! He's that perfect combination of professionalism yet unpretentious. He's extremely knowledgeable but encourages you to be proactive with your health. I highly recommend him and couldn't be happier that he's opening his own practice because Arizona State Urology/Ironwood Physicians is definitely not a pleasure to deal with.

Very professional.... Courteous.... Excellent sence of humor.... Very down to earth.... Highly recommend...!!! I will not see another Urologist....!! Doctor Hong is absolutely the best person and Doctor....!! I have been a patient of Doctor Hongs for 2 years now... I have been to several Urologist throughout the valley over the years... not any more...! I have to extremely disagree with several of the 1 star gripes on here.... I have received excellent call backs from the after hours line, I have received calm and factual communication from Doc Hong when I have waited too long to contact or be seen in an emergency..... I completely disagree with the 1 star reporting.....! The office staff is always professional and very courteous.... I am very particular and not always the best patient, Mr. Hong is a great person and an even better Doctor... It actually irritated me to see the 4 (1) stars I bothered to read... There is more to the story than the few sentences or paragraph written by these folks and I do not believe it falls on Doctor Hong... So, I felt compelled to edit my previous ratings... P.S. I was not payed for this endorsement so don't even go there.... Mr. Hong is a good man and great Doctor... P.S.S. I do prefer, Im not sure but I believe it's his wife, at the scheduling counter..... But, by no means does that reflect negatively on the practice at all.....! You can't please everyone.... Found out she was just filling in for bit... Staff is A ++ 👍... people need to be nicer to these folks..!! You would not believe the professionalism exhibited today by this staff while a person was completely ridiculous.... Rude people need not apply or ask to be seen...

I'm a senior citizen who was diagnosed with an enlarged prostate 35 years ago. I have dealt with the low urine flow, straining to urinate, and never feeling my bladder was empty until this year (2021).

After being referred to Dr. Hong and 3 visit to his office, he was able to complete his diagnosis, and recommend a treatment procedure to me which I gladly accepted.

The consultations were comprehensive, open and honest in every respect; About the extent of my problem the treatment process, and expected outcomes. They included what I could expect going forward. Dr. Hong was professional and reassuring, as well as confident in his ability to help me. He pointed out the pros and cons of any medical procedure including my own and asked me what I wanted to do. I chose his recommendation.

My outcome? After a single procedure I am experiencing a 300% improvement in my condition. This improvement includes a reduction in urinating frequency, leakage, straining and bladder feeling full. I get a better night's sleep since I no longer wake up multiple times a night to go potty.

So my suggestion is simple if you have a prostate issue PLEASE schedule a visit with Dr. Hong. I believe he can help you too.

I arrived earlier then my appt and I got out of there earlier.
He did a good job on my Green Laser treatment 1-1/2 years ago.
Can't ask for more then that.
Dr. Hong is a true professional and knows his stuff.
I had a treatment done PREVIOUSLY by a different doctor and it did not last.
I won't mention their name as I dont' want to get "sued".
